I wanted to eat a refreshing cold pasta that I could eat quickly, but it seems they don't serve it anymore in September. I ended up ordering the refreshing natto and okra Japanese-style pasta. The noodles were fresh and chewy, and even though it was a bit pricey at 1000 yen, it was my first time trying natto pasta. It gave me some hints for making it at home.

"The rich sea urchin cream pasta with Parmesan cheese was delicious, but it could be even richer. The set came with 3 types of bread, salad, and a drink. The bread options were croissant, mugwort bread, and sugar bread."

It's been a while since I had Kamakura Pasta. I usually always go for the Bolognese, but this time I tried the pasta with asparagus and chicken in lemon cream sauce. The rich and refreshing lemon cream sauce coated the pasta nicely and was very delicious.

There were so many types of pasta to choose from, I had a hard time deciding haha. I ended up having the squid ink pasta and it was delicious! The all-you-can-eat bread service is a great feature, and they notify you when the bread is freshly baked which is nice. The bread rolls are small so you can easily eat them up.

There are many menu options so you won't get bored. It was lunchtime during Golden Week, so there was quite a line. I had the chewy tarako (cod roe) pepperoncino. It was nice to have my favorite ingredients, tarako and garlic, together, but there was a lot of garlic, which ended up upsetting my stomach (^_^;)

I went to Kamakura Pasta on the 6th floor of Yodobashi Camera at 11 am and it was still not crowded. The unique feature of this place is the A~D set, where you can choose from salad, drink, and all-you-can-eat bread. I decided to try the all-you-can-eat bread option and ordered the C set (pasta + salad + all-you-can-eat bread). I chose the cream pasta with spinach and mozzarella cheese. The staff brings the bread to your table every 15 minutes when you raise the bread all-you-can-eat card. However, the system is not very efficient as it takes 15 minutes for the bread to arrive and the plates for the bread are small, so you need to keep requesting more. This may affect the turnover rate of customers. The pasta was okay, but the noodles were a bit soft for my liking. The salad was very small and the dressing was not enough. Overall, the meal was a bit expensive at 1639 yen. I might visit again on a weekday for a cheaper option.

I visited the restaurant around 20:05 on a weekday. Even though it was a weekday, about 70% of the seats were filled. There were 6 people in front of me, and I had to wait for about 10 minutes for them to be seated before I could get a table.
- Aguu pork and 7 vegetable dashi pasta for 1309 yen: The dish felt a bit monotonous. It seemed to have a shallow flavor, despite the addition of ginger or something similar.
- Kamakura set for 638 yen:
- All-you-can-eat freshly baked bread: Since it's a chain store, I had lowered my expectations, but the bread was quite delicious. I tried 8 different types of bread, holding back only on one. So, during my stay until around 21:00, I got to try 9 different kinds. The long, thin stick-like bread had a great flavor.
- Today's salad: It came with a slightly smoky sausage.
- Drinks: The non-caffeinated drink options were orange juice, ginger ale, and cola.

I visited around 17:30 on a regular day. It was not crowded.
- Steamed chicken and tender eggplant in spicy arrabbiata sauce for 1190 yen
- Steamed chicken: The pieces were larger than expected and there were plenty of them, so I felt like I got a good amount of protein.
- Eggplant: I thought the eggplant would be mushy based on the name, but it was actually soft and delicious.
- Tomato sauce: The sauce itself wasn't very spicy, but there were spicy zones with chili peppers mixed in. The chili peppers were definitely spicy.

Around 7:00 PM, we visited with 2 people. This is the 6th floor restaurant floor of Yodobashi Camera in front of Kyoto Station. It is a "Kamakura Pasta" specialty store that uses 100% durum semolina flour, operated by Sanmark Holdings. The unique feature of this restaurant is that it specializes in "fresh pasta" using durum semolina flour and the variety of pasta menu. There are an incredible number of pasta menu options available. Durum semolina flour is a type of wheat different from the wheat used to make udon or cakes, known for its elasticity and chewiness, making it commonly used in pasta. Semolina means coarse-ground, and in Italy, there is a law that states pasta must be made with 100% durum semolina flour to be considered pasta. By aging the pasta for one day, it achieves a texture that cannot be experienced with dried pasta. The menu includes various options such as premium pasta, Kamakura's famous carbonara, cream sauces, tarako pasta, oil pasta, Genovese, Kamakura-style Japanese sauces, tomato cream, meat sauce, and tomato sauce. There are a total of 37 pasta menu options, offering an overwhelming variety. Additionally, they offer all-you-can-eat bread (363 yen including tax) and a system where you can create a set with 3 pieces of bread, salad, drink, and dessert.

I visited the restaurant in September 2020 for lunch. It is located in the restaurant area of Yodobashi Camera Kyoto. By bringing a postcard for my birthday month, the Kamakura Premium Course, originally priced at 2300 yen, was discounted to 1840 yen. Additionally, I received a commemorative gift. The course included appetizers, soup, all-you-can-eat bread, a choice of pasta, dessert, and a drink. I chose the Ise Ebi soup and Uni Ikura pasta, both of which were delicious and rich in flavor. The bread was served fresh and if you didn't want any more, you could use a stop sign to indicate so. I ended the meal with dessert and a drink, feeling satisfied. The commemorative gift for my birthday month was an eco-bag. I look forward to visiting again next year. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since I had Kamakura Pasta. Today, I was planning to eat the sea urchin pasta, but I was drawn to the various menu options. I wanted to eat seafood, meat, and mushrooms, so I struggled to decide! In the end, I couldn't choose just one, so I ordered the Carbonara with Pecorino Romano and the sea urchin and salmon roe cream pasta. I also chose the regular fettuccine noodles as recommended by the staff. The Carbonara was rich and delicious, but I managed to finish it without feeling overwhelmed by the richness. I added Tabasco for extra flavor, and although it's unrelated, I heard Tabasco goes well with curry, so I'm thinking of ordering curry next time because I love Tabasco!

All-you-can-eat bread for 1600 yen. It's delicious, but you can really feel the part-time job vibe from the staff. lol

I visited the restaurant in June 2018 for lunch. It is located in the restaurant area of Kyoto Yodobashi. I ordered the creamy pasta with sea urchin and salmon roe for 1390 yen excluding tax. With my JAF card, I received a 5% discount, making it 1321 yen before tax and 1426 yen after tax. The taste was a bit salty and honestly, I didn't find it delicious. I hope they put more effort into improving the taste. Wi-Fi is available for free throughout Yodobashi Camera. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was a bit dark, but overall it was okay.

The plate is covered with a rich, white cheese-based sauce, topped with bolognese sauce. Personally, I found the sauce a bit overpowering and regretted not just sticking with plain bolognese. The pasta was chewy and tasty, but still, for around 1,300 yen, it's a bit pricey.

I was running late at work and couldn't go grocery shopping for dinner, so I decided to meet up with my husband outside and eat out. Feeling under the weather, I opted for broccoli and steamed chicken peperoncino. It was neither good nor bad. I wished the oil had more garlic flavor and the sauce was more creamy. In the end, I ended up having salad as my main dish. Since the restaurant is affiliated with Sanmark, the highlight was the all-you-can-eat bread, where you can try various types of bread in small portions.

I was thinking about lunch and decided to go to Kamakura Pasta Kyoto Yodobashi store for a quick meal. It was lunchtime but the restaurant was empty. I ordered the thick-cut bacon Napolitan and fresh basil tomato sauce spaghetti. I also ordered a set which came with a salad and a drink. The pasta, being fresh, was delicious and had a good texture. However, it was a bit difficult to place an order as there were no staff inside the restaurant. The restaurant was empty and it was convenient to have fresh pasta when I was short on time. Unfortunately, the coffee in the set was not good (tasted diluted). I think it would taste better if it was made using a coffee machine. I was looking forward to having coffee after pasta, so I was disappointed.
