When you exit the B2 exit of Omotesando, it's just about 1 minute away! Located on the 4th floor of the AO Building in Aoyama, Cafe Landtmann Aoyama offers traditional Viennese cuisine. They have lunch options from A to F, including daily specials, pasta, a choice of soup, Viennese classics like Backhuhn Salad Lunch, Beef Goulash, and Wiener Schnitzel. Each lunch comes with soup, salad, and bread. On this day, I chose the Backhuhn Salad Lunch, which is a Viennese-style potato salad with fried chicken on top. It was healthy, satisfying, and delicious. My friend had the B lunch, which was a chicken hamburger with creamy sauce, and it looked delicious too. The restaurant has plenty of terrace seating, which will be perfect when the weather gets a bit cooler. Thank you for the meal!

It was great that I could use this cafe for a night out and it was surprisingly empty on a Friday night. I was surprised to find it in this building! The pumpkin ice cream was a delightful autumn treat. #CafeLantman #OmotesandoCafe

I visited this cafe after having lunch nearby on a regular day. I didn't make a reservation, but there were still some available seats, so I had to wait for about 10-15 minutes. The interior of the cafe was like something out of a movie, with a classic and elegant design. It is an Austrian cafe, and I ordered their signature dessert, the Sachertorte, along with an Einspänner (coffee with whipped cream). The presentation of the dessert was impressive, and the taste was light and fluffy, different from what I expected. The Einspänner was actually Viennese coffee, and I accidentally mixed the cream with the coffee before drinking it. It was interesting to learn about this cultural difference. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, and although I may not visit this cafe again, I would recommend it for its diverse menu options.

Located just a 1-minute walk from Omotesando, this restaurant has a spacious and calm interior with a Western European decor reminiscent of the Orient Express. The service is smart and polite. The restaurant's main branch is in Vienna, so the Austrian cuisine here is not heavily Japanized. I ordered the lunch set, which included:
- Lind Goulash (with salad and bread)
- Franziskaner (set drink, ice cream)
- Sachertorte
The Lind Goulash is a stew made with veal, with a light yet flavorful sauce and tender meat. The Franziskaner is a latte with unsweetened whipped cream, which was decent but could have had more of a dessert feel. The Sachertorte was delicious, with a crunchy chocolate topping and a rich yet not overly sweet taste. The coffee menu is extensive, with names inspired by famous Austrian historical figures.
The total bill was around 3,300 yen, but there are cheaper lunch options available (around 2,000 yen). Cake is an optional add-on, so it's not necessary to order. I made a reservation, but the restaurant has plenty of seats and is relatively quiet, making it a good option for when you need a place to eat. There is no time limit, and my friend and I chatted for about 3 hours. I would recommend it for a girls' get-together (or a date, of course!)

I stopped by to kill time before my next appointment. I had an iced cocoa, which was not too sweet, and the vanilla ice cream on top was delicious! The cozy atmosphere allowed me to relax. The food menu also looked appetizing, so I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I had iced coffee, caramel macchiato, and Sachertorte. The Sachertorte had a unique texture with the chocolate being a bit rough. The cream served with it was mildly sweet, which paired well. The caramel macchiato was also delicious.

The café is located on the 4th floor of a building with Kinokuniya on the first floor. The floor with the beauty salon has a café, but it might be better to avoid it due to the smell of perm solution. The other floors also seem a bit dull, so it might be worth considering the choice of tenants. It was past 12 pm on a weekday, but there were empty seats. It was too hot to line up for lunch, so choosing this place was the right decision. The service was polite and the atmosphere was retro and calm. The age group was mainly older ladies, but there were also some younger people. The seating was spacious and there is a terrace, making it convenient for enjoying the view in spring and autumn. I had pasta for lunch, followed by American coffee and added a Sachertorte. The cake was a bit too sweet, but it was good with coffee. The American coffee had a rough texture, so I should have ordered a blend instead. If you're looking for a café in the Omotesando area on a weekday, it's a good choice as it's not too crowded. I had a great meal!

A very stylish cafe. Located on the 4th floor of a commercial building in Omotesando. The seats are spaced apart (back to back?) making it comfortable to spend time there. It's a bit pricey because it's stylish, but the German food was delicious. I didn't try any unusual menu items though.

I found a place where I could have tea and alcohol on Omotesando and ended up at this shop. It was my first visit in 8 years. There was a terrace seat, but it was hot so we sat inside. I had a Gesser draft beer for 880 yen and ordered Topfenknodel cottage cheese dumplings with berry sauce. My friends ordered sweets, so I also ordered. The dumplings were like pancakes with a slightly sour raspberry sauce that wasn't too sweet, which I liked. I also had a cocktail similar to a mojito. It was a relaxing space where you could enjoy tea and alcohol.

The seats are spacious and the interior is calm, allowing you to enjoy your meal elegantly and leisurely. The dishes are all delicious and just the right amount (they may seem a bit smaller than usual), which I really liked. For someone like me who often finds it hard to finish a large portion of food, this place is perfect. I used a coupon from Tabelog for a free upgrade on my drink, which was a nice bonus.

Today, I went shopping in Aoyama alone. It was a bit lonely, but also refreshing. Since I can't read maps, I walked with my smartphone navigation, but ended up going in the wrong direction every time (laughs). As the distance increased, I realized I was going the opposite way. In the end, I walked about 1.5 times the distance. After visiting the DeLonghi showroom and a coffee bean shop, I got hungry and decided to have lunch. There were many tempting restaurants to choose from, but as a food blogger, I had already checked the reviews in advance. I decided to go to Café Lantmann. This restaurant specializes in Viennese cuisine, recreating traditional dishes from Vienna. The deciding factor was that it's part of the Gyro Group, a large chain, so I felt reassured. Inside the restaurant, the decor had a foreign charm. I sat on a comfortable sofa. I ordered a Gessler beer for 880 yen, a rare Austrian beer in Japan, poured skillfully with a creamy foam, similar to Asahi Super Dry and easy to drink. For food, I ordered the Backhendl salad for 980 yen, which included two crispy Vienna-style fried chicken pieces with a spicy coating on thin chicken meat, served with a vegetable-packed salad. Underneath the vegetables was a delicious potato salad with a rich dressing, making it a satisfying dish where you can enjoy both vegetables and meat. Having Viennese cuisine and Gessler beer alone in Omotesando was quite a refreshing change of pace for me. By the way, on this day, each member of my family had their own plans, so I didn't feel guilty about spending a day alone and feeling a bit lonely.

I visited with three female friends I hadn't seen in a while. We had lunch and had pasta. The pasta, bread, and soup were all delicious, but the pumpkin ice cream we had for dessert was especially tasty. We also had a surprise with a cake that was bigger than expected, but we were very satisfied. The atmosphere was great for chatting, and we ended up ordering two desserts unexpectedly because we were having so much fun. It was a wonderful day!

I wanted to drink beer for lunch, so I visited this place after a long time. They have a variety of Viennese dishes, but I ended up choosing the schnitzel. I shared it with my friend. Unfortunately, there was only one choice for beer at lunch. I thought there would be more options, but having beer on a sunny day for lunch was great. I wanted to try more dishes, but the fried food made me full quickly, so I couldn't have dessert. Instead, I ordered a Viennese coffee with alcohol. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. I will come back again.

Just a 2-minute walk from Omotesando Station, you'll arrive at the building where our restaurant is located! I visited on a Saturday just before 3 pm and there was a wait of 8 groups. I had to wait for 45 minutes before being seated. If you know your schedule in advance, making a reservation is a must! Our restaurant has an elegant interior that is very lovely. The lunch menu offers a variety of Western dishes including Viennese cuisine! If you're just stopping by for coffee, you must try the "Sachertorte"! This rich chocolate cake pairs well with coffee. Eating it with cream makes it even smoother and more delicious! Pair it with a chocolade for a luxurious treat. During my visit, 90% of the customers were women!

I felt like having tea on Omotesando and found this place nearby. There was a line of about 5 groups in front of me, so I waited for about 40 minutes to get in. They had a wide variety of coffee options, and the cakes were made with great care and tasted authentic. The interior was luxurious with fancy chairs, tables, wallpaper, and art pieces, which really lifted my spirits. However, the cost-effectiveness and service were a bit lacking. The drinks had an excessive amount of ice, which left me unsatisfied, and the service was slow in seating customers even when there were empty tables available. I think if they improve on these aspects, their reputation would greatly improve.

Introducing the neighborhood series Aoyama edition♪ I met up with Kumi Kobayashi, who graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts oil painting department and has been working in various kimono-related jobs. We've known each other for almost 30 years, and even though we don't get to see each other often due to work, it's always fun to catch up. It's stimulating to talk to someone who is successful in a completely different field, and I always come away with a fresh perspective. Kumi recommended a stylish cafe that we often use for meetings. The elegant and calming atmosphere is just my style, and the menu is delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone in the neighborhood☕️ Cafe Lantmann Aoyama Store 3-11-7 Kitaaoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo AO Building 4th floor 03-3498-2061 11:30-22:00 Closed on days when the AO Building is closed.

The Sachertorte here is very famous. This may be the only place in Omotesando where you can eat Sachertorte. The whipped cream is very voluminous and goes perfectly with the Sachertorte. The combination of iced cocoa and Sachertorte is fantastic for chocolate lovers. It was really delicious!

I had been interested in this place for a while and went for lunch on a weekday. I had made a reservation so we were able to get in smoothly. I ordered the short pasta set and a cake for dessert. The cheese risotto was delicious, like a cheese risotto. The chocolate cake had a sophisticated flavor that I really liked!

You can enjoy a Viennese atmosphere while dining here. The ambiance inside is close to the real thing, and just looking at the menu gets you excited. I came here for the schnitzel, but I also wanted to try dessert, so I ordered the soup lunch set. It came with salad, bread, and soup, which filled me up nicely. The bread was delicious. I thought it might be too hard, but it was just right. For dessert, I had a hard time deciding, but I ended up choosing the Sachertorte! It was rich and delicious. I also tried some of my friend's desserts, and they were all great. I was very satisfied.
