Summary: On January 16, 2019, a specialty store focusing on pancakes and shaved ice using carefully selected homemade fruit vinegar and fluffy espuma opened. The menu includes a variety of dishes such as pancakes and carbonara, made with fresh fruits from local farms and homemade fruit vinegar. The cozy restaurant has 15 seats with a counter and terrace seating for 7, offering a bright and cute atmosphere that appeals to women in their 20s to 30s, including foreign tourists. Customers can enjoy the live kitchen experience with the sound of shaved ice and the aroma of cooking ingredients. The shaved ice machine and block ice slicer add to the unique experience. The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 19:00, and on weekends and holidays from 11:00 to 18:00. Accepted payment methods include PayPay. Located in Ginza, Tokyo, the restaurant is a 7-minute walk from Yurakucho Station on the Yurakucho Line, Higashi-Ginza Station on the Hibiya Line, and Shintomicho Station on the Hibiya Line. Address: 1-20-10 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Tomato House 3F.

I stopped by for a break while taking a walk around Ginza. It is located on the 3rd floor along Ginza Kibamachi Nakadori, heading towards Miyoshi Bridge from Shintomicho Station. It is in an old-fashioned mixed-use building, so there is no elevator. The stairs are steep, so it would be nice if you could calmly visit. There are two seats on the stairs midway, but the stairs are narrow, so be careful. The interior is a simple space with only a counter across the aisle. It is more suitable for a quiet break for 1 to 2 people during a walk, rather than a lively group. It doesn't seem like a place to stay for a long time. There were many inbound customers. As for the air conditioning, there is no air conditioning, only natural wind and a fan. It was a scorching hot day today, but somehow manageable. I tried the classic strawberry and pistachio foam shaved ice. Perhaps due to the air conditioning, it was lightly shaved, so it melts quickly. The ice is not too cold and does not become too sharp. The balance of strawberry sauce, pistachio cream, and nutty flavors was good. The texture of the strawberry seeds was firm, and the sweetness was elegant with just the right amount of acidity. It started to melt, but the taste balance was good until the end. I wish there was a bit more space. Thank you for the meal.

I was more satisfied than I expected! Kinako shaved ice (1650 yen) I visited this shaved ice shop in Ginza in September, when the lingering summer heat still remains. Despite it being a Tuesday in September, the shop was full, but I was able to get in without waiting! (A line started to form after I entered the shop.) I was torn between the popular Strawberry Pistachio and Kinako flavors, but this time I chose Kinako! The kinako was evenly spread over the mochi, which may make it a bit difficult to eat at first, but if you take your time, you can enjoy it from the first bite to the last! The kinako had a rich and delicious flavor, almost like a traditional Japanese confectionery. The mochi and ice were soft and fluffy, making it very easy to eat! Matcha and black honey are also included, so you can enjoy it without getting tired until the end! I highly recommend it! The inside of the shop may be a bit warm, but enjoying shaved ice gives you satisfaction and a cool feeling, so it's not a problem!

First visit. I tried the classic pistachio espuma and strawberry shaved ice. The pistachio flavor was rich and the strawberry was refreshing with a hint of vinegar, both flavors were delicious. However, there was not enough strawberry syrup, so the taste became weak towards the end. I'm not sure about other flavors, but it was disappointing that I couldn't enjoy it until the end. Also, the shop had no windows and the air conditioning was not working, so it was a hot day. After taking photos, I ate it quickly, but there was still melted ice water left in the bowl. I tried drinking it, but it didn't have much flavor. When I looked at other customers' bowls on the way out, most of them also had melted ice water left. It's a shame that it was delicious but ended up like this. Maybe it's just my way of eating? This is just my personal opinion, so please forgive me.

The kinako (roasted soybean flour) shaved ice had mochi and plenty of red beans in it, making it so deliciously sweet that the black syrup and matcha syrup on top were almost unnecessary. The matcha foam shaved ice was tasty but a bit difficult to eat, as the shaved ice kept falling off the plate even after it was brought to the table, which was a bit wasteful.

The location is around the middle of Higashi-Ginza, Takaramachi, Ginza-itchome, and Shintomicho subway stations. They accept reservations and it's okay to wait in line. When I visited on a weekday afternoon, there was a wait of 2 groups and I was able to enter in about 20 minutes, but by the time I finished eating, there was a considerable line outside the building. They offer 3 types of shaved ice. If you go early, there may be more options available. I tried the strawberry and pistachio foam shaved ice for ¥1,870. According to the description, it has pistachio foam from Iran, homemade vinegar as a hidden flavor, strawberry sauce, and strawberry confiture. Inside the ice, there is cherry flavored tea sauce from Ronnefeldt, pistachio foam, wild blueberry confiture from Northern Europe, and roasted crushed almonds. I prefer shaved ice with a softer texture. I liked the acidity of the strawberry sauce that added depth to the flavor. Towards the end, there was not enough sauce and I had leftover ice. There are counter seats facing the kitchen and terrace counter seats with a view outside.

I arrived around 4 PM on Saturday and there were about 10 people lined up under the stairs. I thought I should have come a little earlier, but ended up waiting for about 50 minutes to finally get my shaved ice. The appearance is very cute! The pistachio foam was delicious. Personally, I felt that the strawberry sauce didn't quite match the amount of ice. I couldn't quite make out the taste of the sauce towards the end, but I wished there was more of a strawberry flavor. The berries inside were sour, so overall it was quite refreshing. Even those who don't like sweet things might find it easy to eat!

I didn't find my favorite cheese shaved ice, so I chose one with strawberry and pistachio instead. It was a bit expensive at 1870 yen, but it was delicious with cherry on top. However, the ice became hard towards the end, which was a bit disappointing.

Visited after 13:00. It seemed like you could make a reservation on site, but there were several groups waiting ahead of us, so we decided to wait. The waiting area was quite hot and humid. While waiting, we decided on our order from the menu: - Mochi and kinako shaved ice - Strawberry and pistachio espuma shaved ice - Lemon vinegar soda mix! After waiting for about 30 minutes, our turn finally came and we were seated inside the restaurant. Even though it was midsummer, all the windows were wide open. Since we had already placed our order, the shaved ice arrived shortly after we sat down. With the windows open, we quickly ate it before it melted. It was delicious, but honestly, it didn't quite live up to the hype. Some places offer warm tea to help with the heat, but they only served regular cold water, so finishing it all was a bit tough in the summer heat. The lemon vinegar had a unique taste. Overall, I felt that they could improve by implementing a web reservation system for better customer service. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the shop around 11 am on Saturday. I was planning to line up before opening, but it seems they opened earlier than expected. I was able to enter without waiting, but a line had formed just 10 minutes later, so it might be better to arrive 15-30 minutes early. I ordered the matcha and black honey kinako shaved ice. The matcha was very rich, almost like eating the leaves themselves, but without any bitterness, just enjoying the aroma. Inside, there were salted walnuts which added a nice texture. It was worth the wait and very delicious. The lack of air conditioning was tough though...I sweated a lot while waiting...

The classic pistachio and strawberry pancakes at the shop were not as overly sweet as they appeared and were easy to eat! The shaved ice in the photo, which was not on the menu at the store and was a limited edition Kyoho grape flavor featured on Instagram, was nothing surprising and just tasted like regular shaved ice. Overall, I did not feel the need to line up again to eat there.

I arrived at the popular restaurant at 10:45, aiming for the 11:00 opening. My friend was running late, so I joined the line exactly at 11:00 (there was a note to line up after meeting). Everyone was there for the shaved ice, so we didn't have to wait long to enter the shop. The shop is small, but the open atmosphere with fans instead of air conditioning made the shaved ice feel just right. I tried the visually appealing Strawberry Pistachio Espuma. It was really delicious, especially with the granola-like topping adding a nice touch. The portion was large, so it's important to eat it quickly to avoid it turning into a watery mess or collapsing like an avalanche.

It was a type of shaved ice that I had never eaten before, so it was refreshing. The pistachio foam on top was surprisingly rich! The pistachio flavor had a hint of saltiness, which complemented the sweetness of the strawberry sauce perfectly. As I continued eating, I found roasted almonds and blueberries inside, adding a nutty and tangy flavor that kept it interesting. And as I kept eating, a pleasant aroma wafted through my nose, which turned out to be a sauce made from the "Queen of Cherries" flavor tea, giving off a lovely cherry scent. It wasn't just about the appearance; the shop's dedication was packed into this shaved ice, surprising me all the way to the end. Atmosphere: Alone: △ Girls' Night Out: ◎ With Friends: ◎ Date: ◎

After having lunch in Ginza, I decided to have some sweets as it was a hot day. I rarely eat shaved ice, but once in a while it's nice, right? I found a small shop with a long line even outside of lunch hours, about 7-8 people waiting. Surprisingly, the turnover was fast. Inside, it was narrow with a maximum of 15 counter seats. The menu was handed out while waiting, but it was smaller than expected. I wondered who would order the ¥5000 shaved ice with Louis XIII. Many people were ordering the strawberry and pistachio, which looked great. I opted for the pistachio cream, which was delicious as expected. There was no black sesame listed on the menu on Tabelog. I also ordered a citrus-flavored shaved ice, which looked plain but had tasty orange peel and a refreshing jelly-like substance. They also offered a vinegar drink that seemed popular for hydrating on a hot day. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

It's been a while since I visited here! It's a great place to stop by for a snack after having lunch in the Ginza and Tsukiji area. It tends to get crowded this time of year, and the stairs to get in can be really hot, so make sure to prepare for the heat. Ordered: - Blue cheese espuma with pepper & honey cheese - Strawberry and pistachio espuma Both dishes were ones I've tried before and they were delicious as always. The espumas were creamy and tasty. The blue cheese and pistachio espumas had a nice texture and were surprisingly light at the bottom, so even after a full course lunch, it was easy to finish them off.

Shaved ice with sweet red bean paste and kinako powder for 1,540 yen. The espuma-style shaved ice was delicious with unique menu options. The staff were friendly, but the indoor seating area was quite small and the outdoor terrace was hot, so the environment wasn't ideal. The shaved ice melted quickly. It seems like it would be better to visit in the winter.

I had been interested in this restaurant for a while, so I made a reservation and visited for the first time on a Saturday. I was looking forward to trying the corn, but unfortunately it was already sold out. Instead, I ordered the blue cheese shaved ice, which seemed like it would also be ending soon. I sat on the terrace, which was a bit hot, but it didn't bother me too much since I came here to eat shaved ice in this heat! When I placed my order, I could choose between water or warm tea. Cutlery and a wet towel were served before being seated. The shaved ice was small, almost too small for me, but it was topped with a generous amount of blue cheese foam, shiny honey, and large roasted walnuts! It was a delicious combination of flavors on the ice. The only downside was that the bottom had a lot of plain ice, so it didn't have much flavor. You have to be careful how you eat it to fully enjoy it.

I think Shin-Tomi Town Station is the closest. The menu for the day is posted on the official Instagram, so it's best to check it the day before. I lined up from 14:00 on Saturday and entered the store after 15:00, waiting for about an hour. The heat and wind made the shaved ice melt faster than I imagined, which was tough. The menu includes unique items like "Avocado and Fresh Pepper Shaved Ice" and "Blue Cheese Espuma with Pepper & Honey Nuts Shaved Ice," but starting with something closer to the classics is best. For example: "Thick Plum Wine Shaved Ice" (made with Yamagata Masamune thick plum wine and a separate serving of Yomeishu). The syrup of thick plum wine on the ice, with a whole honey plum inside, is sour and adds a nice touch. It's refreshing, especially on hot days. "Tiramisu and Strawberry Shaved Ice" had a fluffy cream cheese espuma that was delicious. The base ice is milk ice, unlike the plum wine one. It contains cookies and cream inside, making it more like a dessert. The strawberries seemed to be thawed frozen ones and not very tasty. The store has a line, but it moves quickly, so it's good to ask about the number of people and menu in advance, and the ice is served soon after arrival, so the turnover is good. I thought 30 minutes was a short stay, but in reality, there's no way to stay longer. It melts (laughs). It's a place to remember for enjoying special "shaved ice." Looking forward to the seasonal offerings.

Parlor Vinefru Ginza/Ginza 1-chome First visit Saturday 4:30 PM arrival 10 people waiting in line 5:00 PM entry Order: Strawberry and Pistachio Espuma Shaved Ice Ibaraki Cold Melon 100% Pistachio and Strawberry dessert I have been wanting to try for a while now and it looked delicious. My impression is that the shaved ice may not be the best choice. Honestly, it wasn't very tasty. The ice was not fluffy and the syrup seemed crucial, but there wasn't much of it. The melon one had chunks of fruit and the syrup was delicious, so I'm glad I ordered that. However, the melon is a limited edition, so it's better to check on Instagram or similar for updates. Thank you for the meal.

<Small solo exhibition at Ivoire until 7.8> On June 30th, the last day of the semester, I had a 30-minute lunch break! I rushed to Parlar Vineful ‍♂️‍♀️ If I couldn't get in, I had a plan to go to Shinoda-ya. I reached the 3rd floor of Tomato Building, ready to leave if it was crowded... Surprise! There was no line! Even though there was no line, I had reservations and got in safely. I grabbed the last seat at the window counter! It was cloudy, but over 30℃, so it was hot but bearable in the open space. I ordered the melon shaved ice that I was curious about. I had meant to avoid chilling my body the day before, but I completely forgot. Stubborn! The staff at this busy place was efficient. It seems like a great workplace. The melon shaved ice arrived promptly. The melon was confident as always ✨ Made with ripe Ibaraki Gold melon, with vibrant green flesh and a balanced center. The sauce was El Sol Melon. The melon flavor was amazing. There was a faint caramel/vanilla aroma, ripe fruit sweetness. It was packed with flavors. When I poured the white rum... it was delicious. Melon and alcohol, the perfect combination. It was a hot day and I didn't have time to plan for lunch, but I managed. I'm still going strong (I want to try the Brandy Melon too. oO). Thanks for the feast.

On this day, I visited Tsukiji, Higashi-Ginza, and Ginza area. There are so many shops I want to visit in Ginza that I always struggle with scheduling when I go there. Depending on the season and how crowded it might be, I tend to avoid shops that mainly serve shaved ice in the busy summer. But let's try to change that thinking this time. By changing my routine, I might discover something new (exaggerating). Now, this is "Parlor Bineful", a cafe specializing in shaved ice and pancakes. The shop is located in Ginza Ichome, on the 3rd floor of a building called "Tomato House". The image of a tomato painted on the exterior is quite impressive. Speaking of tomatoes in an anime, in recent years, it's "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury" (a forced connection). At the end of the first season, I was wondering what would happen with the "Stop it!" scene. There were fewer deaths of main characters than usual in Gundam, and it ended peacefully with a happy ending. In the final battle, there was the usual sibling rivalry, but surprisingly, with a single word from Felsie-chan, their differences were resolved. This was a major event in the Gundam world. It seems like they would be very active in the routes where characters from other works survive in Super Robot Wars. The interior of the shop is mostly counter seating only, making it a cozy place. You can see the streets of Ginza from the window, a great location. The menu consists of 70% shaved ice and 30% pancakes, with many common flavors. The detailed descriptions are also impressive. Here's what I ate: - Strawberry and Pistachio Foam Shaved Ice: This shaved ice has Iranian pistachio foam, strawberry sauce with vinegar, strawberry confiture, and Queen of Cherry from Lonfennelto, which spreads a glamorous cherry scent. This is their standard menu item. The flavor tea sauce with pistachio foam, wild blueberry "Bilberry" confiture, and roasted almonds. The ice is a bit coarse, but the toppings are luxurious. - Tiramisu and Strawberry Pancake: This pancake has a rich espresso coffee cream spread between the layers, cream cheese foam, pure cocoa powder, crushed biscuits with strawberry confiture, and a side of brandy-infused coffee sauce. The thick coffee cream is rich and creamy. The strawberry is not visible from the outside but is present inside. The pancake has a fluffy texture. Both the shaved ice and pancakes at this cafe are delicious and of high quality. It would be a shame to miss out on either, so make sure to try both when you visit. Thank you for the meal!
