This is Kyoto. There was a shop in the Yodobashi Camera restaurant floor in front of Kyoto Station. At the entrance, there was an automatic ticket machine, so you first purchase a food ticket. This style of restaurant may be convenient, but for someone like me who has a hard time deciding on a menu, it's not ideal. I prefer to sit down and take my time choosing a menu. For now, I decided on the beef sirloin cutlet and purchased the ticket. When I entered the shop with the food ticket, the staff quickly took care of me. The shop was smaller than I expected, but there were plenty of staff members. There were 2 people working, and 3 people seemed a bit idle. The service felt very scripted, like they were reading lines. The part-time staff seemed very earnest, though. The beef cutlet was fried meticulously by a very neat-looking staff member. The presentation was very beautiful. First, I tried the red miso soup, which was hot and flavorful. Then I dressed the cabbage with dressing, which I really liked. It was a good start. When I reached for the cutlet and added a little wasabi, the cutlet was delicious but the wasabi didn't have much of an impact. It was a bit disappointing. Instead, when I tried it with curry sauce, it was quite tasty. The soy sauce was also to my liking. The sauce could have had a bit more punch. The sansho salt was not bad, but I think the soy sauce was the best among them. The white rice was also delicious, and overall, I felt satisfied with the price.

First of all, before discussing whether the food is delicious or not, or if the service is good or bad, I doubt a restaurant that states they accept cards and electronic money but then apologizes and says "cash only" at the counter. I went with my young child, but there was no children's menu, and even the pork loin for 2300 yen and the Japanese beef for 4940 yen were too tough for the child to chew. The tongue for 2410 yen that my wife ordered was also difficult to chew. There was no information about the origin of the meat, which was not helpful. The lunch for three people costing 9650 yen was not worth it. The Japanese beef cutlet was not bad, but it lacked the unique aroma of Japanese beef and was not exceptionally delicious. Making it into a cutlet only increased the greasiness. I think the Japanese beef cutlet sandwich from a certain famous chain is a hundred times better value. The service was also poor, and I don't think I'll be going back. It was disappointing, considering the high expectations. They really need to make some serious changes if they want to survive. It's a shame because their concept is good.

I was able to enter Katsu Gyuu without waiting in line, which is usually crowded. I ordered the fillet cutlet, but I felt that the price was a bit high. I was shocked to find out that due to bird flu, they had changed the egg topping to grated ponzu sauce, but when I tried it, I found that the grated ponzu sauce also went well with the meat and was delicious.

I purchased the lunch limited "Beef Sirloin Cutlet and Menchi Katsu Set" with a food ticket. The large Menchi Katsu was freshly fried, hot, juicy, and delicious. The beef cutlet was tender and delicious with a rare texture. It may be a bit small for those with a big appetite, but it was just the right amount for lunch. It came with curry sauce, but I didn't want to put it on the beef cutlet so I drank it at the end haha. The shop only has a counter, so it was a bit cramped.

The variety of dishes offered where you can mix and match is interesting, but the taste is quite ordinary. I went around 7 pm and it was not crowded. You need to buy a meal ticket at the ticket machine at the entrance, but the customer in front of me took over 5 minutes because they seemed unsure how to buy. There were 5 staff members in the restaurant, but none of them seemed willing to help. When I bought my ticket, I noticed that the instructions were a bit unclear, the timing to insert money was also unclear, and the touch panel response was a bit off. 3 out of the 5 staff members were standing around with nothing to do or chatting, which left a bad impression. This was my second visit, and my impression of the staff was the same as last time.

I arrived at Kyoto Station and decided to have lunch. When I went down to the basement of Kyoto Tower, I found out that it was under construction. So, I decided to go to the adjacent Yodobashi Camera instead. I took the elevator to the restaurant floor and chose to dine at Katsugyu, a Kyoto-style restaurant. I ordered the specialty dish, the White Sirloin Cutlet Set, along with a beer. I sat at the counter and enjoyed my beer while waiting for the meal. The cutlet set was delicious and I tried different seasonings like salt, wasabi, sauce, and curry sauce. It was tender and I ended up finishing the meal, even though I initially thought the portion might be too much. I wanted something more to eat, so I decided to order an additional minced cutlet from the vending machine. While waiting, I noticed a group of four foreigners buying their meal tickets one by one before joining the line. It was a bit chaotic but I managed to enjoy my meal. The minced cutlet was hot and juicy, and I ended up feeling full and satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

I came to Kyoto on a business trip, so I finished work early without lunch and just have to go back. I bought some souvenirs like Shitsuya bread, exceptional croissants, and soba boro. By the time I finished shopping, it was already evening and I got hungry. I decided to have beef cutlet for dinner. I chose Katsugyu inside Yodobashi Camera. After struggling in front of the ticket machine, I ordered the loin cutlet set with a warm egg, but unfortunately, due to avian influenza, it was replaced with a miso sauce. A bit disappointing. They mentioned that if you add them as a friend on LINE, you can get unlimited rice, miso soup, and cabbage, so I registered right away. The beef cutlet is thinly sliced, so you can enjoy it with wasabi soy sauce, sansho salt, curry sauce, or beef cutlet sauce. I personally prefer wasabi soy sauce.

I visited the restaurant after going to Yodobashi to buy home appliances. I had the mixed plate of beef sirloin cutlet and beef tenderloin cutlet Kyoto Tamazen for 2150 yen including tax. The tenderloin had a good size and was satisfying to eat, but the sirloin was smaller than I expected, which was a bit disappointing.

This is a counter-style shop located above Yodobashi. It specializes in beef cutlets, with most menu items priced slightly over 1,000 yen. I ordered the cheapest option, the beef tare cutlet bowl. It came with three small cutlets and miso soup. Rice, cabbage, and red miso soup refills are available. I was interested in signing up for LINE for this, but unfortunately, this menu item was not eligible. Disappointing...

I often see tonkatsu restaurants in Kyoto, and since tonkatsu is one of my favorite dishes, I visited this chain restaurant. In Tokyo, there was a tonkatsu boom at one point, but many places used injected meat, which I didn't like. This restaurant was good and the tonkatsu was delicious, but the portion was small so I added some extra loin and sirloin. They had various sauces which allowed for different flavors, which was great!

The Kyoto Station store was under renovation, so I went to the Yodobashi Camera store. I ordered the lunch menu which included beef cutlet and minced cutlet. The beef sirloin cutlet and minced cutlet set was 1,270 yen (including tax). Rice, red miso soup, and shredded cabbage are free if you show the screen after adding the store on LINE as a friend. The beef sirloin was a small size and cooked rare in the middle, which was just right, but the edges were completely cooked. It was a pity. The minced cutlet was delicious. The red miso soup that came with it was at a normal, easy-to-eat temperature. The refill was too hot to drink immediately. The shredded cabbage seemed to have discolored a bit, perhaps left out for too long. It feels quite different from the Kyoto Station store I visited before. Thank you for the meal (*^^*)

The cost performance is good☆ Beef cutlet and minced cutlet. Wasabi with dashi soy sauce, sansho salt, sauce, curry dipping sauce, and mustard. There were various ways to eat it★ The most delicious was wasabi with dashi soy sauce. The curry dipping sauce was also unusual☆ The mustard was spicy★ The beef cutlet was slightly smaller in person than in the photo... Maybe one or two pieces less? (see image) But it's okay. It was delicious☆ I didn't bother getting a refill (rice, cabbage, miso soup) because it seemed like I had to show it on LINE.

I went because I wanted to eat beef cutlet. It's a chain restaurant, so I thought it would be average. But it was delicious. There were many sauces, but I just ate the egg one normally. I also poured curry sauce over the rice normally... It was delicious... Personally, I thought I would like to eat it with salt... The shichimi was also delicious, but I think wasabi was the best.

Today, I came to Yodobashi Camera to buy a new phone and decided to have lunch at Katsugyu Katsu Restaurant. I purchased the ticket for the Sirloin Beef Cutlet set and entered the restaurant without having to wait. The food was served in just over 5 minutes. They explained that I could have unlimited refills of rice, miso soup, and cabbage by registering on their LINE app. I started by trying the recommended way to eat the cutlet with wasabi soy sauce, which was not too spicy but had a great flavor. I also received a raw egg to mix with soy sauce. I tried all the different ways to eat the cutlet - with wasabi soy sauce, raw egg, beef cutlet sauce, curry dipping sauce, and yuzu pepper salt. I had seconds of rice and miso soup. I finished my meal in less than 10 minutes. It was delicious.

I had a meal on the 6th floor of Yodobashi. This shop has many locations throughout Kyoto city. It was the only Yodobashi store that had a parking lot, so I had no choice but to choose this one. It was around 5 pm, so the store was not crowded. This time, I chose the sirloin and tongue combo. Personally, I thought the sirloin was really delicious! I didn't like the tongue as much. They also offered coupons for Line friends and all-you-can-eat options.

Ordered the same thing as my friend, but it was completely undercooked and just a regular cutlet. The additional one-bite cutlet was exactly the same. This is terrible. They should be able to tell since they are cutting it. It was also greasy without draining the oil. The one-bite cutlet is quite small, but considering the price, it might be good for those who want to eat a lot. The conger eel was delicious! The rice and miso soup were also tasty, which made me feel impressed as I had been wanting to eat it for a long time since I had it in the past, but I think they have become too much of a chain now.

After finishing up in Marutamachi, I headed to Yodobashi. I had been rejected by Kamogawa Takashi for the beef cutlet, but I really craved beef cutlet that day. So, reluctantly, I ordered the large beef loin cutlet set meal. I had eaten at the Kyoto Station store before and had not had a good experience, but I still went for it. However, it was no good. The breading tasted like a factory-made frozen product, and the size was mediocre. The middle part was undercooked and cold, with tough fibers. I had low expectations, but the result was as expected.

I visited the restaurant in August 2020 for lunch. It is located in the restaurant area of Yodobashi Kyoto. Before the pandemic, there used to be Chinese people lining up, but now it's only Japanese people, so there was no line at all. I ordered the original red beef loin cutlet set for 1530 yen. You buy it from a ticket machine. It was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside, very delicious. It's counter seating only, but it's currently not crowded. How about trying delicious beef cutlets in Kyoto? By the way, rice, miso soup, and cabbage are all-you-can-eat.

I had always been curious about gyukatsu. It seemed a bit intimidating, but I decided to try it out at a restaurant located inside Yodobashi Camera in front of Kyoto Station. The restaurant uses a ticket machine system, and I ordered the large size of rosukatsu for 1740 yen. The interior of the restaurant is simple with only counter seating, and they offer a welcoming atmosphere for solo diners. As soon as I sat down, I was served hojicha tea. The meat was surprisingly rare and when eaten with wasabi, it had a flavor similar to tuna sashimi. I wish the slices were thicker, but overall it was delicious. The dipping sauces were not necessary as the meat was flavorful on its own. Although the price is a bit high, they offer unlimited rice, miso soup, and cabbage, so it's a good option for those who want to eat heartily. Thank you for the meal.

I lined up from 11:30 and waited for about 15 minutes to get in. I originally planned to have tonkatsu, but when I remembered the long line at Katsugyu, I decided to wait. The comments were harsher than I expected. Personally, I was quite satisfied. I was torn between choosing white or red meat, but considering my age, I chose red and increased the portion. Given the price, it's easy to imagine that the meat is imported, so be prepared to chew. Finally, the dish arrived. It was a substantial portion. The crispy coating and lean meat fried together enhanced the flavor. There were various sauces to enjoy, but my favorite was the sweet and savory Worcestershire-like sauce. The salt, on the other hand, seemed more suitable for fatty tonkatsu than lean beef. The curry was a perfect accompaniment to the barley rice. I finished it in no time. Having fried food and beer for lunch is the best. For those of you who find the meat tough, strengthen your jaw muscles. The young person next to me seemed to struggle with chewing. Perhaps younger people who are not used to eating tough foods find it difficult and may not appreciate it as much. Despite being fried, I feel less guilty eating beef katsu than tonkatsu. And it's cheaper than tonkatsu too, hooray! I've decided to try the shoulder loin next time. It was a delicious meal.
