[2022/12/31] Since it was New Year's Eve, it was less crowded than a usual weekend, but unfortunately I couldn't get a table at 2:00 PM. However, I did enjoy:
- Sandwich
- Berry Tart
- Macarons: Camelot Tea & Praline, Matcha, Number 12 Tea & Tiramisu
- Tea (Earl Grey Breakfast)
[2022/8/10] Finally got to experience afternoon tea at 2:00 PM, but when I arrived, I found out there were no available seats at that time. They operate on a system where you make a reservation and get seated as tables become available. They only call your phone twice.
I discovered the deliciousness of macarons for the first time, and enjoyed:
- Sandwich
- Dry Fig Mascarpone Tart
- Macarons: Moroccan Mint Tea & White Chocolate, Earl Grey Fortune & Dark Chocolate, Black Tea & Black Currant
- Tea (Earl Grey Breakfast)
[2022/6/19] TWG, known for their black tea. I originally wanted to have afternoon tea, but opted for the best lunch course this time:
- LUNCH TEA PATISSERIE SET
- Seasonal Soup (Corn Soup)
- Main Dish (Pan-seared Halibut with Orange Sauce)
- Tea (Earl Grey Gentleman)
- Patisserie (Singapore Surprise)
The soup was rich, and the bread that came with it had a caramel and vanilla flavor that complemented the dish well. The main dish, pan-seared halibut, was flavored with Green of Vietnam Tea, sakura shrimp and cheese gratin, tomato sauce, spinach-flavored mashed potatoes, onion sauté, colorful vegetables, and orange sauce. The Earl Grey Gentleman tea was delightful with its bergamot aroma. The cake, the shop's popular o.1 Tianmian, had a caramelized brown sugar top, vanilla custard cream, reminiscent of crème brûlée, and raspberry confit. I was thoroughly satisfied with everything and would love to try their afternoon tea when it gets cooler.
