Ordered the Kin Toro Temari Yukke set for 2,970 yen.
Visited the restaurant, which is popular on social media, at 11:30 am on a weekday and had to wait for an hour. Most of the customers were in their 20s, making it a bit awkward for older customers like myself.
It seems that the best way to enjoy the meal is to wrap the Kin Toro Yukke with the Temari Yukke, but I didn't know that and ended up eating them separately. The Kin Toro Yukke had a refreshing taste, while the Temari Yukke was rich in flavor. I think it would have been even more delicious if I had wrapped them together.
Eating them without pouring the broth over them was more enjoyable.
Overall, if the price was below 2,500 yen, it would have been perfect.
I will upload a video review on YouTube once I finish editing it, so feel free to check it out.

Today I visited "Goho Yukke Katamari" in Gion Shijo. Located on the 9th floor of a building, it offers a great view of Shijo. The restaurant provides raw meat that meets health standards, and the dishes are all luxurious and visually appealing. I ordered the following menu items:
- Uni and Ikura Yukke Don: 3,740 yen
- Silky Toro Yukke Set: 2,970 yen
The Uni and Ikura Yukke Don was a luxurious dish with a big chunk of meat topped with sea urchin and salmon roe. It was incredibly delicious when mixed with the sauce on the table. The Uni and Ikura Yukke Don was the epitome of luxury, with a generous amount of sea urchin and salmon roe on top of the meat. The volume of ingredients seemed to exceed the amount of rice. The meat, sea urchin, and salmon roe were all very fresh. After eating about half, I enjoyed the dish with the provided dashi and condiments in a tea-dipped style. The Japanese-style broth complemented the bowl well and made it easy to eat. It was all perfect and Instagram-worthy.

I had a legal Yukke-don with extra Yukke for about 3000 yen in total. The Yukke was delicious and the portion was quite generous, but the amount of rice was a bit small. The tea was served in a small cup. It could have been a bit more. The taste was delicious.

My handsome guy recommended this place to me, saying it's so trendy. I went there the next day in a hurry and there was a line. Many young people were there. I see. The food was delicious, especially when I added the broth. But I felt a bit embarrassed being an older guy surrounded by young people. I'll go on another trendy trip soon.

I made a reservation for 6:00 pm and visited the restaurant. There were many couples and women. I ordered the Hand-Made Yukhoe and the Silk Toro Yukhoe set. Both were very tender and delicious! Personally, I preferred the Hand-Made Yukhoe with less oil. It was fun to have photo-worthy meat dishes.

The taste was really delicious!!! I went just before the opening, and although I was the first without a reservation, I was able to get in right after the reserved group entered. It seems better to make a reservation, but even after a short wait, I got to try the yukhoe and it was so delicious! Definitely recommend it!

We had decided on this place for lunch during our Kansai expedition and Kyoto sightseeing (*≧∀≦*) The name of the restaurant is so cute, right? www We chose Gouhou for lunch on Sunday. We arrived 5 minutes before opening and were the 6th group in line. After some contemplation, I decided on the sea urchin dish (*´∀`*) I asked for less rice (later realized normal amount would have been fine... (^^;;) I started with it as is, then added condiments, and finished with ochazuke. But of course, had to end with the normal rice portion www (and realized I needed more rice...). It was a delicious restaurant that meat lovers would adore♡ The view from the window was also wonderful ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎

I have a feeling that it's a matter of preference, but I thought it was really delicious! My friend said they didn't like the texture, haha. The extra large portion of rice (50 yen) with a refill (150 yen) was great! The rice soup at the end was excellent too. Just the soup alone makes you want to have more rice, haha. I want to go again!

I saw it trending on Instagram and TikTok and was curious, so I made a reservation. It was probably my first time trying beef yukhoe and it was delicious. I ended up with a stomachache later though... haha The sea urchin had a good amount of meat and was also delicious. I think ordering it in a bowl was better value than ordering the yukhoe alone.

I went to a restaurant in Kyoto where you can enjoy yukke. I love yukke, so I couldn't miss it! I went there on a Sunday afternoon. Since I couldn't make a reservation, I went directly to the restaurant, but it was moderately crowded. There was a panel inside the restaurant where you could make a reservation on the same day. I was seated within 30 minutes. The food was served quickly. I ordered the "Gokumi Yukke Don with Kujo Negi" (¥2,100). It was incredibly delicious... Whether you eat it with the sauce or as ochazuke, it's delicious! I was happy that you could choose the amount of rice you wanted (probably even a smaller portion than normal). It's a bit pricey at 2,100 yen for lunch, but I think it's worth it! The cost performance is reasonable.

Today, my friend received a Harley Davidson motorcycle and we went on a tour to Kyoto to celebrate. We departed before noon and arrived in Kyoto just in time for lunch. Our main destination was a restaurant called Goufugyu and Katamari. It was my first time there, and the meat was delicious, of course! The rice topped with meat and broth was incredibly tasty. I would love to visit this place again in the future.

Around 1 pm on a weekday. I was seated right away. I thought I might have a good view since the building is tall, but it's not exceptionally high, so I couldn't see anything particularly beautiful. Maybe that's just how it is in Kawaramachi! I felt like the cleanliness inside the restaurant was a bit lacking, but maybe that's just me? I ordered a regular meat dish, which cost 2200 yen. It was a self-serve style where you put the sauce on yourself, making it difficult to adjust the flavor. I couldn't figure out the right amount to use. I was able to relax, but for the price, I thought the taste was just average. It could just be that I'm not a big fan of yukhoe!

A restaurant where you can enjoy a comparison of "Silky and Creamy Yukke and Handball Yukke" using raw black wagyu beef that can only be eaten at legal stores that have obtained permission to provide raw meat! Operated by Oagari Co., Ltd., led by Kento Inuzuka, the restaurant opened on July 15, 2022. Despite being forced to close once due to the impact of the new coronavirus, the sales have recovered in a V-shape, reaching five times the pre-corona level, and expanded to Kyoto and Sapporo. There are a total of four directly operated stores (Niku no Kakurega Oagari, Legal Yukke Katamari, Kyoto-style Okonomiyaki and Sake Oagari, and Wagyu Yakiniku Maruichi). Oagari Tokyo store is scheduled to open in 2023. The location of the restaurant is about 150 meters south of the Sanjo intersection in Kagahara-cho along Prefectural Route 32. The nearest station is Kyoto Kawaramachi Station, a 4-minute walk away (or a 6-minute walk from Sanjo Station). The business hours are from 11:30 to 15:00 (last order at 14:30, orderable from 11:30 to 14:30) and from 17:30 to 21:45 (last order at 21:15, orderable from 17:30 to 21:15), with no regular holidays. The restaurant has 60 seats including tables and couple seats. Reservations can be made online through the official website, and phone reservations are also accepted. There are private rooms available for 4 to 20 people. The ordered menu includes Handball Yukke Don with Cheese, Plain, and Extra Yukke. As the name suggests, there are various Yukke menu options available. Handball Yukke is a Yukke that brings out the exquisite taste unique to Yukke specialty stores by blending a rich-flavored lean meat with a sweet fat characteristic part. Only Yukke made with beef that can be eaten at legal stores that have obtained permission to provide raw meat is used. The beef is carefully selected from a dairy farm that provides raw meat for consumption nationwide, and only premium black wagyu beef is used. The cheese is topped with Parmesan cheese, which is also delicious. It looks even better when you double it. [Order] - Handball Yukke Don with Cheese 2,200 yen - Plain 2,000 yen - Extra Yukke 1,000 yen

I made a reservation the day before and entered the restaurant at 6:00 pm. I was really looking forward to trying the Yukhoe. When I took the first bite, I felt happy to have ikura, sea urchin, Yukhoe meat, and rice all together. However, I felt that the price was a bit high and the quality could have been a little better. Overall, my expectations were not completely met.

I searched for yukhoe and went to eat it. From the photos, I thought it would be large, but it was served in a slightly larger teacup size bowl, not a rice bowl. You can choose your own toppings. I chose sea urchin! The yukhoe was big, so I ate it while transferring some to the surrounding plates. It was a luxurious yukhoe bowl that even took a nice photo. I was seated by the window, so I was slightly bothered by the cobwebs outside, but it's part of the charm since the restaurant is located on the upper floor of a building.

I have been there several times during the day and at night, and the yukke (Korean beef tartare) has an addictive taste that makes me want to visit once a month! It's not that it has a strong flavor, but the special sauce is very delicious, and when you eat it with rice, it creates a very happy taste in your mouth. The lunch menu is affordable, so I recommend checking it out! This one with two pieces of meat is a better deal than the Handball Yukke (with one piece).

It's been a while since I had yukhoe! They have a permit for selling raw meat, so it's legal to eat yukhoe here. I wanted uni (sea urchin) but it was sold out, so I had it with truffle. It was so delicious! The sauce was also tasty. The line was long, but the restaurant was spacious and I got called in quickly!

I visited this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. We ordered the ultimate course, and the first dish was a platter of three kinds of yukke, which was quite a shock. I had never tasted yukke like this before! Every dish that followed was also amazing. The view of Kawaramachi from above the Ajibiru building at night was also fantastic. We made a reservation in advance, and they even prepared a message plate for my wife's birthday. I highly recommend this place for any special occasion.

I visited a shop on the 9th floor of a mixed-use building in Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto. I made a reservation by phone on the same day and was able to secure a spot. Orders are made using a touch panel. There was a pitcher of water and paper cups on the table. As the name suggests, the main focus is on "raw meat," with thinly sliced sirloin and lean yukhoe being popular items.
