Took the kids to Tamba Winery. Bought several types of wine, then explored nearby for lunch. Found a place that said they were out of eggs for their tamagoyaki, so we ordered a kids' plate for the children and a katsudon set for the adults. It was delicious.

I visited this place for the first time. When I entered the store, the staff greeted me energetically, but I was left alone to find a seat. When I asked if I could sit anywhere, I received a cheerful response. Looking at the menu, the photos of the dishes were unique as they were food samples. I ordered the pork cutlet bowl set, but the cutlet was thin and small, and the egg topping was firm. The flavor was on the salty side, like a typical pork cutlet bowl. The udon was also just a regular, tasty udon. The payment was handled by an elderly person, who placed the change carelessly in a carton and handed me the receipt upside down. Despite the disappointing service, I thanked them before leaving. It was just an unlucky encounter with a bad staff member, I believe.

During a break on our drive, we stopped at a restaurant called Yamagata-ya. We ordered the oyakodon set, which comes with oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) and soba or udon. I chose the warm udon, my mother chose the katsudon set with zaru soba, and my sister chose the zaru soba set with rolled sushi. The oyakodon was delicious, and the udon had a fragrant broth that was very tasty. It took a while to come out, likely due to Golden Week, but we were very satisfied with the delicious meal.

This area is full of drive-in restaurants. I often have lunch around here. I like ramen, so I ordered a set menu with ramen and fried rice. The ramen was okay in taste. The fried rice was also delicious when eaten together with the ramen.
