I stumbled upon a stylish store and decided to check it out. The interior was cozy and filled with fashionable decorations. I tried the beef tendon curry, which was absolutely delicious and I couldn't stop eating it. I will definitely go back next time to try their pasta.

I went to have lunch at IL ZaccaYa. I found many restaurants using Awajishima Noodle Industry's noodles, but I chose this one this time. Although they don't use Awajishima Noodle Industry's pasta noodles for lunch, it is possible to change it.

While waiting for the pasta, I had sparkling wine and anchovy potato salad. There were also various a la carte options. And then the pasta arrived. "Chicken Bolognese" is healthy. The sauce is deliciously mixed with the noodles. It's nice that they have a wide variety of drinks. I enjoyed the pasta lunch. Thank you for the meal.

Oh, it was really delicious♡ I always order steak with wine in a carafe here. The Caesar salad is also tasty, and the anchovy potato salad is light and easy to eat. I don't usually eat pasta, but the Napoli-style spaghetti here is so light and delicious that I always end up ordering a large portion♡

It had been a while since I last went, but the food was still delicious! The ham cutlet with gorgonzola cheese sauce was absolutely amazing, and the wine recommended was perfect. All the dishes were mouthwatering, and the presentation was also very stylish. The spaghetti Napolitana was tasty too. The only thing was that the steak could have been a bit warmer. The ambiance of the restaurant is also great, allowing for a relaxing dining experience. I love it here! ♡

In front of the store, there are always Kyoto college girls and high school students passing by, giving a lively atmosphere. I visited for lunch around noon on Saturday, and there was a sophisticated solo female student dining. The place had a bright atmosphere thanks to its wide entrance. The chicken curry had a hint of Italian flavor with a tomato base, and it was deliciously spicy. The pasta also looked good.

I was curious, so I decided to drop by this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the Gorgonzola pasta (penne) and it was really, really delicious! It may look simple, but the cheese was rich and flavorful, making it go really well with beer. I'm glad I randomly stopped by and enjoyed the meal so much! I definitely want to try other dishes here for dinner too!

I often go to Kyoto for day trips. Yesterday, I went to the Kyoto National Museum to see an exhibition that will be ending soon. I had lunch on my way from Keihan Shichijo to the museum. I found an Italian restaurant and bar with many positive reviews on Google, although there are not many reviews on Tabelog. It's rare to see a restaurant with a wide entrance like this in Kyoto. I wonder if it was newly built in place of an old building? What caught my eye was the "Curry now 100 yen off" offer. The chicken stew curry was reduced from 800 to 700 yen. It's a simple curry rice dish without any sides, which is perfect for a quick meal before heading out. The curry is served in a pasta dish, with vegetables blended into the soup and only chicken as the main ingredient. The curry has a European twist with a hint of tomatoes, giving it an Italian touch. It was delicious! Both the previous and following customers ordered the curry, showing its popularity. I'm sure this place would also be great for dinner as a restaurant bar. I will definitely visit again when I go to Kyoto National Museum next time.

The deep-fried mozzarella fish and chips and carbonara fish and chips are each large and delicious, with the carbonara being rich and smooth. Among them, the deep-fried mozzarella is exquisite. I ordered it three times. The deep-fried mozzarella is creamy and the cheese and dashi broth are amazing. And the dashi broth is also exceptional.

Two of us, still excited from the special exhibition at the Kyoto National Museum, decided to have an à la carte meal. Here is a summary of our dining experience:
- Monthly Salad: ¥800
Half a small cabbage grilled with thick slices of delicious ham on top. The cabbage was sweet, and the ham's salty flavor was excellent.
- Fried Potato Gnocchi and Prosciutto: ¥600
A dish that suited our tastes perfectly. The fried gnocchi paired well with thinly sliced delicious Jamón Serrano. I quietly marveled at the fact that a different ham was used for the salad that needed a punch.
- Shrimp and Mushroom Ajillo: ¥1,000
The bread was soft and easy to eat, but the price felt a bit high.
- Fried Camembert and Mozzarella: ¥650
A superb dish for me to finish the meal. The thoughtfulness of serving it in two portions was much appreciated.
- Beef Rump Steak & Chips: ¥1,900
The steak was more delicious than I imagined for the price, with perfect cooking and seasoning. I was very satisfied.
- Draft Beer (¥570), White Bottle Wine (¥2,500), Corkage Fee (¥1,500)
Despite the very pleasant service, including water refills, we were only taxed, resulting in a total of just over ¥10,000. This time, the cost performance was satisfactory.
We arrived around 6 p.m. on a weekday, with about 40% of the tables occupied, but by 7 p.m., the restaurant was full as usual. The dishes were served promptly and with good timing, and we were able to leave the restaurant after about 2 hours. We would like to visit this restaurant again, perhaps in conjunction with a visit to the Kyoto National Museum.

The other day, I went to the neighboring store to eat zenzai, and saw the lunch menu on the signboard here, so I decided to visit again. The lunch menu includes original curry and pasta. I ordered the Wiener Napoletana (800 yen) at the counter seat. It was a Napoli-style pasta with a strong flavor that I like. I might try the curry next time...

I made a reservation for a table at Ilzakaya less than a week ago. We were a party of two and ordered the following dishes:
- Anchovy Potato Salad: 450 yen, good quality and quantity, might not need to order it again
- Pear and Prosciutto Salad: 1,000 yen, generous portion and delicious
- Fried Mozzarella: 650 yen, a delightful dish that cheese and fried tofu lovers will enjoy
- Fish & Chips (Large): 1,400 yen, crispy fish fritters with a slightly thick batter, served with various sizes of fries
- Mixed Vegetable Fritters: around 600 yen, a custom order with delicious eggplant, avocado, and generous portions
- Calamari: 800 yen, fried squid including the tentacles
We also ordered a large Sapporo Lager (800 yen), a bottle of white wine (3,200 yen), and paid a corkage fee of 1,500 yen for bringing our own bottle of wine. The wine selection was limited and a bit pricey, so bringing our own was a good choice.
The total bill came to around 11,000 yen, which felt a bit expensive, but with careful menu selection, this place offers good value. The restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere with about 20% occupancy when we arrived around 6 pm, but it filled up by 8 pm. The service was prompt and efficient.

I used it for a business trip to Kyoto. It was Sunday night, so I made a reservation just in case and visited the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant felt about 80% full. There were also several foreign customers. The exterior was dimly lit, with an adult atmosphere. The door was open, making it easy to enter. I was greeted with a smile and ordered a drink. The sparkling wine was 500 yen, which is reasonable. For an additional 100 yen, they filled it to the brim, so I always ordered it that way. I first ordered an assortment of appetizers, salad, and a fish rillette to test the waters, but the rillette was too delicious and the assortment was generous, making me excited. Each dish was delicious! I then followed the lead of other customers and ordered the fried mozzarella. The fried food was too good, and I ended with some french fries. The atmosphere is casual, but the taste is authentic! And it's very reasonably priced, so if it's nearby, I would like to visit this restaurant often.

I noticed a welcoming counter that was easy to approach, and there were also solo female customers. I quickly took a seat at an available chair and felt at ease with the friendly atmosphere. I started with a beer and ordered the chef's special assortment. When I asked about a menu item that caught my eye, they included it in my order. When I inquired about wine recommendations from the couple next to me, I received a detailed explanation and ended up trying two different types of wine, both of which were delicious. I found a great restaurant!

I stopped by for lunch at Toji Temple and Sanjusangendo during my sightseeing. Since there seemed to be many places to eat in Shichijo, I moved there and while strolling along the road to Sanjusangendo, I found a stylish restaurant and decided to eat there. The photo may be hard to see, but I ordered beef tendon curry. In Kanto, beef tendon is not often eaten, but it seems to be popular in Kansai.

(Visited in early October 2018) I decided to skip the conference party and take a leisurely walk on the quiet streets of Kyoto. Visited this place near Nanajo Station with a friend around 20:40. The restaurant is not very big, about 70% full. Managed to find seats at the counter where two handsome staff members were working. The atmosphere was stylish yet blended well with the subdued surroundings. Ordered a Jim Beam highball to start, a bit light on the alcohol so asked for a refill. For food, we got a cheese platter for 1,200 yen, evening spaghetti for 1,200 yen, and porchetta for 950 yen. The standout dish was the evening spaghetti - the flat pasta had a great chewy texture and the ketchup-based sauce was surprisingly refined. The porchetta had thick cuts of pork belly, with a refreshing flavor from the lean parts and sweetness from the fat. A bit pricey, but the taste justified it. With 3 drinks each, the total bill came to 7,000 yen. Definitely a place worth revisiting, although my friend joked that it might be more suited for a first date in Kyoto!

It faces the street and may be good for meeting up. It was hot so I ordered an iced coffee. They didn't provide any simple syrup or milk, so it's not recommended for those who can't drink black coffee.

Nine-stalk leek egg sandwich. I thought it was a boiled egg sandwich, but it turned out to be an omelette with nine-stalk leeks!! Fluffy and light, it disappears quickly when combined with the bread. Delicious! The mayonnaise spread on it gently complements the egg. It was quite hot, and the steam rising for quite a long time was impressive.
