I really wanted to try the donuts from the Toshi Yoritsuka series, but they were not available at the store in Kyoto Station, so I went to this store to buy them! I ended up getting the Maron Caramel Sale, which had a sweet coating and a delicious cream with a chestnut flavor on a Danish pastry. It was really tasty!

I stopped by after a while at an event dinner on Hachijo Street. I chose the winter classic adult Pon de Chocolat, produced by Chef Yorozuka, which is currently on sale and receiving great reviews. I sat at the counter seat facing the street, enjoying a leisurely coffee while watching the bustling crowd. The Pon de Chocolat, which had shrunk significantly, was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I visited the shop on a whim on Christmas Eve. The store was not too crowded, but there was a line outside for takeout. After waiting in line for a while, I decided to get some takeout. The Pikachu donut was very popular. It cost 291 yen and looked really well-made, but the taste was just average. The Pon de Chocolat, priced at 183 yen, had a nice coating of chocolate on the Pon de Ring. The Cheese Pie with four kinds of cheese and the Rich Chocolate Pie, both priced at 237 yen, were also delicious.

I was asked by my wife to buy limited edition donuts, so I went to Kyoto Station to get them. I first tried the shop in front of Kyoto Isetan, but there was a long line because the donuts had just been released, so I gave up and went to Kintetsu Kyoto Shop near Hachijo-guchi West. There was no line there, and I was able to easily get the donuts. My daughter enjoyed the matcha and pon de ring donuts from Gion Tsujiri that I gave her. The matcha donut was delicious. The Uji hojicha mochi and fluffy whipped donut had a soft and fluffy texture, with hojicha mixed into the donut, and it was delicious. The Uji hojicha mochi warabi mochi donut also had a soft and fluffy texture, with hojicha mixed into the donut and filled with warabi mochi and red bean paste, which was also delicious. Mister Donut is also doing their best with a variety of offerings.

This is the Kintetsu Kyoto Shop. It is located just past Miyako-michi, across from the New Miyako Hotel. Since it was a nice day today, I decided to go outside and explore. I noticed a Mister Donut there and decided to go in. The shop is non-smoking and open from 9:00 to 22:00. I ordered a melon soda for 198 yen, which was a good deal. The taste was average. Since I wasn't hungry, I only got drinks and took the donuts to go. I don't like chewy donuts, so I chose the classic ones: Angel Cream for 129 yen, Double Chocolate for 140 yen, Honey Dip for 108 yen, and Golden Chocolate for 140 yen. There are expensive collaboration donuts available now, but I prefer simple is best. Angel Cream is still delicious as ever.

Recently, every year a matcha series is released, and this year there is matcha with angel cream, so I came to eat it. It is a collaboration product with Uji matcha whip from Tsujiri, so the matcha is authentic and has a strong bitterness, making it delicious. It is coated with matcha all around, making it a matcha lover's dream. It was so delicious that I hope it becomes a regular item. The pon de ring is also delicious, but angel cream is already one of the tastiest items at Mister Donut, so having it in a matcha series was amazing. I don't usually eat at this store, but the ordering style where the staff brings your order to you makes it easy to use, so I want to come back to eat here again.

This time, I used it for dinner. I was unsure of what to get, but this time I purchased a Chocolate Fashion. You can also eat in, but this time I used it for takeout. Order details: Chocolate Fashion 140 yen. The Chocolate Fashion is a donut coated in chocolate, with a deliciously sweet taste. The shop has a beautiful display, with other delicious looking donuts available. The staff's customer service was a bit lacking in energy. This is a donut shop located inside the Kintetsu Mall Miyakomichi near Kyoto Station.

Mister Donut located near the Hachijo exit of JR Kyoto Station. I stopped by after lunch at Kintetsu Miyakomichi to buy snacks for my children. I checked the floor map inside Miyakomichi and found that Mister Donut was located next to Hamamuraya. However, I couldn't find it inside the building, so I went outside and looked along the sidewalk to finally spot it. It seems that there is no indoor connection between the two shops. It had been a long time since I last bought something from Mister Donut, probably around 3 or 4 years. I purchased some classic items like Angel French, Old Fashioned, and French Cruller. I also got a Chocolate Old Fashioned for myself, but I feel like the chocolate part has decreased compared to before.

Do you ever feel like eating Mister Donut (Misudo) sometimes? I do. So, I came to the Mister Donut at Kyoto Station Hachijo-guchi. On this day, the donuts were on sale, so it was crowded with high school students. What I bought: - Pon de Ring (108 yen) - Snoopy Donut (Chestnut Chocolate) 183 yen - Eclair French (108 yen) The Pon de Ring never disappoints. It has a chewy texture and just the right amount of sugar. It's a classic. The Snoopy donut was a Halloween limited edition item. I hesitated a bit before taking a bite, but I ended up eating it from the nose side haha. The chestnut chocolate wasn't too sweet, and it was quite delicious. The Eclair French, while it looks similar to the Angel French, is actually quite different. It has custard cream inside and is coated with chocolate on the top half. It has a bread-like texture. I think I prefer the lightness of the Angel French. Mister Donut's donuts are something I crave from time to time. When there's one nearby, I can't help but buy some.

In the morning in Kyoto! I couldn't find a family restaurant in front of Kyoto Station, so I went to Mister Donut. It's been a few years since I last visited Mister Donut. I noticed that they now have R points. I tried the new Croissant Muffin (Cheese Cream) and the classic French Cruller. The Croissant Muffin is quite voluminous. At first, I thought, "Where's the cheese??" but I found the cheese cream quite deep inside. It's not very cheesy, but it's delicious. The French Cruller was as reliable as ever. I'm glad I like sweet things. (laughs)

Mister Donut has released a new product called Brooklyn D and D, which is replacing the Croissant Donut. It seems to have been a trend in NY. I went to Kintetsu Kyoto Shop to try it out. I ordered the Caramel Brooklyn D and D. The outside is crispy like a Danish pastry, while the inside is more chewy and mochi-like, rather than fluffy. The contrast between the inside and outside is the main feature. Personally, I prefer the previous Croissant Donut as I have a sweet tooth.

March 5, 2014, around 9pm. Used by three older ladies as a gift for their husbands after a meeting. Some items were on sale for 100 yen. Strawberry Custard French for 100 yen, Cranberry Honey for 100 yen, Strawberry Milk Donut for 100 yen, Custard Cream for 147 yen. The strawberry-shaped strawberry milk donut is super cute. My husband said he doesn't like strawberries but he likes strawberry cream and chocolate. I bought it thinking I would eat it, but my husband ended up neglecting his dinner and playing instead. Oh well, I guess he'll be happy with the Mister Donut souvenir. My husband is a glutton, but I appreciate his presence. Thank you for the meal. There were about 2 groups eating inside the store, and about 4 people in line to purchase. Even though it was late, all the 100 yen donuts were available. April 15, around 9:30pm. Used after a meal with a friend. We wanted to have coffee and smoke. When we have errands at Kyoto Station, we use this place. I realized it was quite far from the ticket gate. Maybe because we walked outside of "Miyakomichi" instead of inside. Even though I must have passed by on the way there, I didn't notice. Well, it was close to the paid bicycle parking lot, so that's good. There is a smoking room with a door at the entrance of the store, so it's more considerate compared to places that claim to be smoke-free. Even though I can't quit smoking, I do care about places that claim to be smoke-free. It was late and the store was empty. There were many takeout customers and the staff were busy. The variety of donuts was a bit limited, but they had event items, so it was good considering the time. We each had a coffee and a donut and enjoyed a relaxing break before heading home.
