"Camelback sandwich&espresso" is a cafe located near Yoyogi Park Station in the so-called Okushibu area, started by a collaboration between a sushi chef and a barista. The interior of the shop is small and there is almost no space for eating in. I tried the Tamago (egg) sandwich for 550 yen and an iced coffee for 450 yen. The Tamago sandwich was a hit. The crispy bread made with Kuwana mochi wheat, combined with the dashi, mirin, and spicy Japanese mustard flavored egg, was just perfect. The bread is from the popular Yoyogi bakery "Katané Bakery". It would have been even better if I could have enjoyed it in a larger space and taken my time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. #Camelbacksandwich&espresso #YoyogiParkGourmet #DeliciousMorning #YoyogiGourmet #YoyogiLunch #TokyoMorning #ConnectWithGourmetLovers #GourmetInstagram #GourmetMemo #WantToConnectWithGourmetLovers #FoodPornInstagram #FoodPornGram #EatStar #Foodstagrammer #FoodPornism #GourmetTravel #DeliciousIsHappiness #LookingForGourmetFriends #FoodieClub #FoodieGirls #FoodieBoys #WantToConnectWithFoodies #KantoGourmet #FoodReviewGram #GourmetReport #GourmetWriter #FoodWriter #BGradeGourmetInformation #TokyoFoodCulture"

Prosciutto and shiso leaf sandwich, sushi restaurant's tamago (sweet omelette) sandwich, and iced latte to go to Yoyogi Park. A perfect combination for a walk and a light snack. Both sandwiches have a firm texture despite using different types of bread. The flavors and textures of the bread and fillings complement each other well. The tamago is on the sweeter side, while the prosciutto has a slightly salty taste that pairs nicely with the shiso leaf. The hint of citrus and butter aroma adds a unique taste to the sandwiches. The gentle bitterness of the latte enhances the luxurious brunch experience. There are only a few seats available in front of the shop, so it might be better to get takeout depending on the season. It was a delicious meal.

I tried the famous egg sandwich at CAMELBACK in Okushibu and it was delicious. The shop is located on a street a little ways off Inokashira Street, with a trendy vibe. There are three benches in front of the shop, but they don't look very comfortable to sit on. Surprisingly, there were a lot of foreign customers, and even the staff inside the shop were foreigners. I had to order a drink along with the popular egg sandwich (550 yen), so I got an Americano (450 yen) as well, paying a total of 1,000 yen. After a short wait on the uncomfortable bench, my name was called and I went up to the counter. Opening the wrapping paper revealed the much-talked-about egg sandwich. It was smaller than I had expected, and I knew it wouldn't fill me up. The outside of the bread was firm, and the sweet and fluffy rolled omelette inside was like a sweet treat. However, just when I let my guard down thinking it was sweet, the spiciness of the mustard hit me. It was quite spicy. Sweet! Spicy! Sweet! Spicy! Before I knew it, it was gone. It was indeed delicious as rumored, but the portion size was a bit lacking. Honestly, I think you would need to eat about three of them to feel satisfied.

The shaved ice that started for a few days in July was so popular that it continued throughout the summer! I've been seeing various trendy shaved ice desserts everywhere this season, but this one is my absolute favorite! I wasn't really into shaved ice before, but the one here is packed with plenty of fruits, making it significantly more cost-effective compared to other shaved ice desserts! I've already been there three times, so I'll summarize them all together. The first time was the "White Camel" shaved ice for ¥1600. The second time was the peach shaved ice for ¥1500. And the third time, I had another "White Camel" shaved ice for ¥1600. Since it's made with fruits, the toppings may vary slightly depending on the day. I wonder how many more times I can go before the summer ends? Please make sure to offer this as a summer staple next year too! ♡

Breakfast - Sushiya's Tamago Sandwich ¥550 - Ice Cafe Latte ¥600 In the vicinity of Yoyogi Park, there are many unique and lovely cafes. One standout is "Camelback sandwich&espresso," located in the so-called "Okushibu" area. What sets this cafe apart is the collaboration between a sushi chef and a barista who both trained in their respective fields. This unique cafe is known for its sandwiches, which draw a crowd eager for a taste of their coffee and sandwiches. I visited around 10:30 am on a weekday, and the front of the shop was already bustling. The left side facing the shop is where you place your order and pay at the register. Once your name is called, you pick up your items from the pickup window on the right side. There is no seating inside, so customers enjoy their food on the benches outside. One of the signature dishes is the "Sushiya's Tamago Sandwich," with a flavorful dashi and mirin taste. The subtle sweetness pairs well with the crispy bread, made from popular bakery Katane Bakery's Coppe bread in Yoyogi Uehara. The cafe latte has a nice balance of bitterness and depth, with a touch of sweetness making it delicious. On a hot day, I quickly finished it.

I gave up on the long line at Tekona Bagel and went to Camel. It was crowded with foreign tourists, and they were taking many photos. Does anyone know why camels are so popular among foreigners? Maybe for Instagram? I forgot the menu, but I ordered the second sandwich from the top with cheese topping. The prosciutto, arugula, and tomato with salt and pepper tasted great. The bread had the perfect firmness. It was quite delicious. I received the iced coffee that a Hatakeyama comedian ordered, but the coffee from Seven-Eleven was better. Thank you for the meal! :)

I went to this place near my workplace that I had never been to before to buy a late lunch. I got a large latte and an egg sandwich from a sushi shop. The bread was crispy and the egg slightly sweet. The mustard butter spread was a nice touch. This egg sandwich is insanely delicious (*^o^*) It's a bit pricey at 550 yen for the size of a convenience store rice ball, but it's definitely worth it. I wish I could have had two, but it might be a bit over budget for lunch (°▽°) The menu text is small and may not be elderly-friendly. I regret not going there sooner. Thank you for the meal (๑╹ω╹๑ )

After leaving Fuglen Tokyo and heading back towards Shibuya, I stumbled upon another shop that was crowded with young people and foreigners. Camelback sandwich&espresso. It seems like there are many popular shops in this area. Intrigued, I approached the shop and noticed that people were not lining up inside but sitting on the benches outside enjoying coffee and sandwiches. It was a stylish scene. As I entered the shop and looked at the menu, I remembered! "This is the shop that serves sushiya-style tamago sandwich!" I couldn't leave without trying it. I ordered the Sushiya-style tamago sandwich (550 yen) and a small latte (550 yen). When I received the receipt, I noticed that everything was written in English. I decided to wait outside on the bench. The weather was nice and pleasant. After a short wait, my name was called inside the shop to pick up my order. I thought about taking it home, but the tamago sandwich was warm. I decided to eat it there. The fluffy tamago yaki from the sushi shop was sandwiched between crispy coppe bread. The tamago yaki had a slight sweetness, complemented by the mustard which enhanced the flavor. Whoever came up with this combination is amazing. The shop was filled with stylish young customers, and I couldn't help but feel a bit cool sitting on the bench among them, nibbling on the tamago sandwich (laughs). It was a delicious tamago sandwich. Thank you for the meal.

From the bustling streets of Shibuya, we headed towards the quieter area of Kamiyama-cho. There, we found a sandwich and coffee stand that caught our eye with its long line. This place is famous for its "Sushiya's Tamago Sandwich", which has been trending on social media. The sandwich is made by Hayato Naruse, a former sushi chef, and the espresso is made by Keitaro Suzuki. The staff at this shop, founded by these two experts, warmly welcome customers with a smile. The sandwiches are made with care, almost as if they were sushi, and you can see the beautiful craftsmanship in each piece when you peek behind the counter. The bread for the sandwiches is sourced daily from nearby bakeries, and the "Sushiya's Tamago Sandwich" uses a soft and chewy coppe bread from Katane Bakery in Yoyogi Uehara, filled with shiny scrambled eggs. The combination of the mild spiciness of Japanese mustard, the sweet aroma of the bread, and the eggs is irresistible. The meticulous work of the chefs has earned this place a loyal following. They are opening a second location in Yoyogi Hachiman this May. Personally, I was impressed by the lovely smile of the staff when they handed me the sandwich. The bread was crispy on the outside, and the eggs were moist and delicious. I ordered the "Sushiya's Tamago Sandwich" for 550 yen and a cafe latte for 600 yen.

The interior of the shop has a calm atmosphere, with wooden tables and chairs lined up, creating a relaxing space. The menu offers a variety of sandwiches made with healthy vegetables or filled with generous portions of meat or fish, all with a homemade taste that you can enjoy!

In the trendy and delicious coffee shops, wine bars, and restaurants that line the area known as Okushibu, there is a coffee shop that stands out as the most popular, often forming long lines. Open from 9 am, this coffee shop attracts a crowd even on weekdays. There is a strong presence of foreign customers, with many visitors from China, Korea, and Europe lining up. The espresso is highly praised for its delicious taste. I ordered an iced latte. The presentation was artistic, with a perfect blend of espresso and milk. The taste was exactly what I like in a latte - a perfect balance between the smoothness of the milk and the strong espresso flavor. You can really taste the flavor of the coffee beans in the latte. It was absolutely delicious. The barista's customer service was also delightful, with a refreshing "Have a great day!" as a parting remark. I would love to visit on a sunny day. Thank you for the meal.

This shop used to have only a few customers, but on this day it was very crowded outside. There was even a line to place an order! My companion ordered the Super Camel Black Hot. The ice version of this drink was said to be mediocre, but the hot version here is delicious. It has a deep bitterness with the equivalent of 4 shots of espresso in it. My companion didn't seem as impressed as before, probably because they found another place they liked better. There is no seating for dining in (only a bench outside for about 4 people), so it's difficult to relax and enjoy your drink.

I came across this sandwich shop while looking for a place to have a picnic in the park. There were many sandwich options, but I chose the one with prosciutto and shiso, with yuzu and butter aroma. I also ordered a chai tea latte. The chai tea latte was served first and I found it to be refreshing and easy to drink for anyone. The sandwich had a slightly hard bread, which made it a bit difficult to eat, but the flavor was delicious! The combination of prosciutto and shiso was excellent, with a hint of yuzu flavor that made it very satisfying. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking to have a picnic in Yoyogi Park! ☺︎

It was a takeout restaurant. I ordered an espresso for 350 yen and a tamago (egg) sandwich from a sushi shop for 550 yen. The atmosphere was trendy, and there was a famous Instagrammer there taking photos. I felt a bit out of place in such a stylish place. I was surprised when I asked for water and they brought me carbonated water instead. The young staff members were friendly and provided good service.

I visited a sushi chef's tamago sandwich shop that caught my interest! When I arrived, there was only one person in line. I ordered the tamago sandwich, and when I asked for a recommendation for a drink, I thought espresso would be fitting given the shop's name, but many customers apparently don't like it, so I was recommended an Americano (espresso with added hot water) instead. The Americano had a light taste, perfect for a morning drink. The tamago sandwich was quite sweet. It had a hint of mustard or karashi, but still tasted quite sweet. In the Kanto region, tamagoyaki often contains sugar, so it may not be as surprising for them. However, in Kansai, tamagoyaki is made without sugar using dashi, so I personally felt that it didn't need the sugar. Nevertheless, the sweetness of the sugar was balanced out when enjoyed with the coffee. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a sushi restaurant around 9 am on a day off. I heard that the tamago (egg) sandwich is popular, so I decided to have it for breakfast. There were 2 groups already waiting in line to order, 2 groups sitting on the bench drinking coffee, and 2 groups waiting after ordering. It's quite popular. I ordered a small latte for 550 yen and the sushi restaurant's tamago sandwich for 550 yen. The tamago sandwich had a small crispy bun with butter and mustard spread, which added an unexpected and complementary flavor. The tamago tasted just like the one you would have at a sushi restaurant, making me smile from the first bite. The small latte, being espresso-based, had a good balance of milkiness and the bitterness and richness of espresso. If you like a stronger espresso flavor, I recommend ordering the small size. They call out your name when your order is ready, so you wait on the bench along the wall until then. After finishing the meal, I returned to the counter to pick up my order, and they wished me a good day. That one word made me happy. ☺︎

Hazelnut mocha ¥650 Tamago sand ¥450 Delicious. The mocha had a strong chocolate flavor, but the hazelnut aroma was also well tasted. Just the right amount of sweetness, very comforting. The famous tamago sand was simple when opened, which made me laugh, but it was a crispy bread with a slightly sweet egg omelette sandwiched inside. It was really delicious. I like the simplicity.

Camelback in Shibuya✨, also known as the hidden Shibuya. It was right near Yoyogi Park (^^) The combination of brie cheese, prosciutto, and apple sandwich was exquisite (゚∀゚) I saw this place on a TV show called "Ariyoshi's Honest Walk" and it had caught my interest for a while (*´꒳`*) I'm curious about their egg sandwich too. Apparently, it's made by someone who used to make sushi, so maybe it has a sushi-like dashi flavor. The way the news anchor enjoyed it looked delicious ♬

I had two egg sandwiches for 450 yen each, a salted caramel latte for 650 yen, and a small latte for 450 yen at the sushi shop. There were no seats available inside, so I enjoyed my meal on a bench outside on a nice sunny day. The egg sandwich had a crispy bun and was packed with more egg than it appeared, leaving me satisfied.
