Located along Prefectural Route 28, this shop is visible on the right-hand side when heading west from the Red Cross Hospital. There are about 3-4 parking spaces on the right side of the shop. The entrance has hand sanitizer, and the staff wear masks, following COVID-19 precautions. I visited the shop after seeing celebrities praising it on TV. I ordered a fried chicken bento box with 5 pieces (610 yen) and opted for the larger size for free. I also ordered tartar sauce (70 yen). While waiting, I noticed a seating area with 3 tables inside the shop. The bento was freshly fried after ordering, and it didn't take long to be ready. I opened the bento box and was greeted by a savory garlic aroma. The box contained 3 breast pieces and 2 thigh pieces. The breast pieces were not as juicy as advertised, but still tasty with a strong garlic flavor. The thigh pieces were tender and juicy. I tried them with tartar sauce, which was quite sweet but complemented the chicken well. The rice was labeled as "domestic rice" and was a blend of fragrant varieties like Koshihikari and Kinumusume. It was delicious, even after cooling down. In total, the meal cost 680 yen. It was a satisfying and affordable bento box.

I visited for the first time. I heard that the Chicken Smile Bento was delicious, so I ordered it without hesitation! I ordered it with extra rice for free. I also ordered some sand liver to eat right away. The Chicken Nanban in the Chicken Smile Bento was big, tender, and delicious. The tartar sauce was also tasty. There were two kinds of fried chicken, both tender and well-seasoned, perfect with rice and beer. The chicken was so good! The sand liver was well-seasoned with a crispy texture, and it paired well with beer. It was a bento that I would like to order again.

I had some takeout fried chicken (a la carte). It was freshly fried and hot, with a tempting aroma of garlic and soy sauce. The outside was crispy and the inside was juicy, like the perfect example of fried chicken. The shop seems to recommend the breast meat, but the thigh meat is definitely tastier. There was a slight hint of odor, which was a bit of a concern. However, despite being called Nagoya-style fried chicken, I felt that the seasoning was a bit light. It's just right for eating on the go or as a snack, but I felt it was lacking as a main dish for rice or as a side dish for drinks. The price is another issue. While the bento boxes are quite reasonably priced, buying a la carte feels quite expensive. If you were to buy thigh meat for dinner for a family of four, the largest Family Set C at 2390 yen seems to be the best option, but it doesn't seem like enough for five pieces per person. If you have growing children, 3000 yen might not be enough... On the other hand, if you were to buy three pieces per person and make other side dishes, it doesn't seem worth the effort to go specifically for fried chicken. It would make for a pretty luxurious dinner as a side dish.
