I traveled to Kyoto and booked a private room online in advance. The serene atmosphere of the traditional Japanese room was lovely. I enjoyed the sirloin and harami, which had a texture I liked. They served three types of condiments - soy sauce, salt, and mountain wasabi - so you could customize the flavor to your liking. I usually eat more affordable cuts of meat, so being able to savor this more luxurious meat slowly was a real treat. Both my stomach and heart were completely satisfied. The clay pot rice (2 servings) was also delicious. For reference, my family of four visited the restaurant.

We made a reservation and visited on a regular night, but the restaurant was full when we arrived. We had the course menu on this day. We started with a toast with Premium Malt's fragrant ale. First, we had foie gras. The sweet sauce stimulated our appetite. Then, we had meat sushi. It's a classic but very delicious without any toughness. The stew was accompanied by thinly sliced baguette, which complemented the taste well. When my beer was empty, I had a glass of Primitivo. Next was the introduction of the meat for teppanyaki. Fillet, sirloin, and lean meat, three kinds. The katsu sandwich had tartar sauce with pickled radish. I've been seeing tartar sauce made with pickles more often lately. Each had its own unique characteristics. We finished with meat, grilled rice ball ochazuke, and dessert. I had another beer while enjoying the meat. Even though it was a counter seat, the distance between the next customer was not a concern. It was a lovely restaurant where you could enjoy your meal in a calm atmosphere.

I tried the "Nagomi" course, limited to weekdays. Various meat dishes using black wagyu for 6500 yen... Great value for the price! The interior of the restaurant mainly consists of a counter, with a small private room and no table seats. All the meats were tender and the portion sizes were just right. The main dish allows you to choose the doneness from rare to well-done. For the finale, you can enjoy garlic rice as ochazuke, which is really delicious! The casual atmosphere makes it a place you would want to visit for daily dining rather than for celebrations. It's a great place to enjoy meat when you want something simple. Thank you for the meal.

I had a lunch course with abalone and black wagyu beef. The presentation was beautiful, and the teppanyaki with unique foam soy sauce made the meat enjoyable. I often use this place when I want to spend a special time with delicious food and service that exceeds the price.

I made a reservation for an anniversary course for my friend's birthday during our trip to Kyoto this time. The food was really delicious, the course dishes were served perfectly, and the staff's service was very attentive and pleasant. I was very satisfied. Thank you for preparing a private room and a birthday plate. I would love to visit again when I go to Kyoto next time.

Is this the right place? Is it open? When I arrived at the restaurant I had reserved, I felt a bit anxious as the entrance was small on the first floor of an apartment building. But once inside, the open kitchen filled with heat overflowing from the counter made me think "this is it". It's not often that I feel that way about a restaurant before even tasting the food. I started with a toast of red wine, Woodbridge, for 900 yen. It was full-bodied but not too bitter or sweet, complementing the upcoming dishes perfectly. I ordered the Musubi course for 9000 yen. The foie gras roast beef was a masterpiece, with foie gras wrapped around the meat on a leaf-shaped plate. The juicy burst of flavors, combined with the tender texture of foie gras and the sweet and savory sauce, was irresistible. The seared wagyu sushi was a delightful combination of meat and rice that I wanted to savor forever. The shabu-shabu with perfectly cooked meat and hidden turnips was like a symphony of flavors on my tongue. The grilled spiny lobster was presented on an artistic plate, with the green sauce made of kujo negi adding a refreshing touch. The lobster had a delightful chewy texture, and I found that it tasted best with just a squeeze of lemon. The salad with shiso dressing was a refreshing palate cleanser. The wagyu cutlet sandwich was a pleasant surprise in the course, with perfectly toasted bread and a delicious sweet and savory sauce. The wagyu chateaubriand, for an additional 3000 yen, was a sight to behold before cooking. The silver sake cup filled with foamy soy sauce was a unique touch that enhanced the flavor of the meat. The garlic rice ball had just the right amount of garlic flavor, and I enjoyed it more with the dashi poured over it. The timing of when to pour the dashi was a dilemma, but here, pouring it early was the way to go. The dessert, chiffon cake with ice cream topped with black tea powder, was a delightful end to the meal. The kitchen was a well-oiled machine, with the chefs working in perfect harmony to create one outstanding dish after another. When I praised the 28-year-old head chef, he humbly credited his team for the success. We ended the night discussing other great restaurants, and he diligently took notes on my recommendations. He's a true scholar, and I have no doubt that this place will become a highly sought-after reservation in the future.

Located right next to Higashi Honganji Temple in Kyoto, this hidden gem offers a luxurious teppanyaki experience with A5 rank wagyu beef, Ise ebi (Japanese spiny lobster), and other premium ingredients that will delight all your senses. The interior is a chic space with a black color scheme. The counter seating allows you to enjoy the live cooking experience as your meal is prepared right in front of you. I tried the "Musubi" course (9000 yen including tax) which included:
- Moist and tender roast beef
- Seared sushi with black wagyu beef
- Black wagyu beef shabu-shabu served with delicious broth
- Teppanyaki Ise ebi (Japanese spiny lobster) cooked right before your eyes and served with scallion sauce and lobster miso
- Refreshing salad with shiso leaf dressing
- Flavorful black wagyu beef cutlet sandwich
- Medium rare black wagyu beef steak served with various condiments like foamy soy sauce, garlic chips, and wasabi
- Garlic rice grilled into onigiri (rice ball) and served with dashi broth for a tea-flavored finish
- Dessert of chiffon cake and vanilla ice cream
The course was satisfying with a good pace of service, and it's no wonder they are fully booked with reservations. They also offer a great value lunch course.

I was taken to a night course and every dish was amazing, spreading happiness in my mouth. I changed one of the regular course's red meat to sirloin, and it really melted in my mouth. I was able to eat various dishes such as tonkatsu sandwich, meat sushi, and stew all at once, and I am satisfied.

The course I had this time was the weekday limited "Nagomi Course" I believe. (laughs) It was quite satisfying for the price. The appetizers were delicious and the meat was also very tasty. The steak was best enjoyed with a jelly-like ponzu sauce. The staff seemed to be on the younger side. I would like to go again. ☆

Used for lunch with friends ♡ The interior has a calm and cozy atmosphere. The presentation was meticulous and beautiful‼︎ The staff were quiet and didn't talk much. The interior was clean and well-maintained. The course had a generous portion and we were full. There was no parking lot, so we parked at a nearby coin parking and walked to the restaurant. The price for lunch was around 5000 yen, so it's not exactly cheap. Overall, the flavors were strong, perhaps more suited for drinking with alcohol?

My friend found this restaurant for us. We decided to change our course to Chateaubriand. The meal started with seared sushi, followed by lobster, and then the meat which had a good balance. Personally, I got really excited about the last rice ball! I think it's a unique type of ending. The restaurant was clean and had a sense of cleanliness.

There is no dress code, and you can enjoy teppanyaki in a casual atmosphere. It is relatively close to Kyoto Station, and there is parking nearby, making it easy for those traveling by car. It has a somewhat hidden gem feel, making it recommended for tourists as well. There is one private room available. The staff is mostly young and the atmosphere is nice. We had a course meal, and the garlic rice grilled rice ball was delicious. At the end, they poured dashi over it to make it like ochazuke... When we visited, there were many couples celebrating birthdays, and they were served birthday plates one after another for dessert. The clientele seemed to be mostly young people.

Today was a day when I didn't have to bother making dinner, so it was a perfect chance to go out and eat something delicious! I decided on this about three days ago, so I started looking for people and places. About a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station, I found a teppanyaki restaurant called Musubi. They offered a special course called "Wami Course" for 4500 yen excluding tax, which is only available on weekdays. The course included seared black wagyu sushi, assorted appetizers, salad, top-grade A5 rank red meat steak (with options to upgrade to sirloin for 1000 yen, fillet for 2000 yen, or chateaubriand for 3000 yen), grilled vegetables, garlic rice ball, and dessert. We decided to upgrade to sirloin (1000 yen) and fillet (2000 yen) for each person and share them. We also ordered an additional two angel prawns for 1200 yen to share. We started with a toast with beer. The seared sushi melted in our mouths, and the meat was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Both the sirloin and fillet were tender and delicious. The angel prawns were firm and flavorful. The appetizers and salad were also tasty. After the meat, we enjoyed the garlic rice ball, which we turned into crispy onigiri and then into a delicious soup with crispy rice. The dessert was a delightful creme brulee. We had plenty of beer, conversation, and food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the prices were reasonable for a weekday. It's nice to treat yourself once in a while. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

It is a teppanyaki restaurant that you can walk to from Kyoto Station. There are about 12 counter seats and one private room. There is no dress code, and the prices are reasonable, making it easy to enjoy teppanyaki. The sirloin sushi appetizer platter and wine-soaked tomatoes are delicious. The sweet and tasty eggplant simmered in beef is also delicious. The plump lobster with sauce is delicious, and the red steak is cooked perfectly. The garlic rice ball is crispy on the outside and delicious. Finally, enjoy ochazuke!

Visited during a date in Kyoto! A teppanyaki restaurant near Kyoto Station, which seemed to have recently opened. The interior was impressive and my favorite course was available. I chose the sirloin steak as my main dish this time. The steak was delicious, and the scallops grilled on the teppan were also tasty! The asparagus sauce was a nice touch. ^_^
