A friend came to visit Japan and I wanted to take them to a small local izakaya nearby. I found this place online, located a 10-minute walk from Kiyomizu Gojo Station, about 5 minutes from my friend's accommodation. I made a reservation for a plan with all-you-can-drink. However, the restaurant had moved to a location 1 km further south. Despite the inconvenience, I decided to stick with the reservation based on the good reviews and the friendly phone conversation with the staff. On the day of the reservation, we were late due to getting lost, but the staff kindly accommodated us. The restaurant was cozy with counter and table seating. The course menu included cabbage, tofu salad with warm egg, fried potatoes and corn, yakitori, sausages, kamameshi, and ice cream. The tofu salad was unique and delicious, the fried corn was a creative idea, and the sausages were juicy and satisfying. My Chinese friend, who tried kamameshi for the first time, was very happy with the meal. The drink menu for the all-you-can-drink option was extensive, and we even ordered additional items like fried chicken. Overall, we had a great experience and I would love to visit again if the restaurant was closer. Thank you for the wonderful meal!
