It seemed quite expensive considering the items ordered. It's understandable that prices are high due to inflation, but I still feel it's expensive compared to other places.

I visited the restaurant around 11 am on November 19, 2022, and there were only 2 groups of customers, so it looked empty. I sat at the open counter seats and placed an order. I ordered the beef curry with extra curry sauce, normal spiciness, and rice quantity. The speed from ordering to the dish being served was amazing! This is one of the good things about curry restaurants. After taking a bite, I could tell it was Cocoichi's curry. I thought the rice portion was bigger than I expected.

Last time, the rice was mushy so I avoided going for a while, but I decided to give it another try. The rice was cooked properly and the curry at CoCo Ichibanya was delicious again. I was happy with the improvement. I will definitely go back for lunch sometimes.

I also added cheese as a topping, which made the dish cost around 1500 yen. It was too expensive for what I got.

I went to the stable CoCo Ichibanya. The deliciousness of the fried food with cheese topping is undeniable, but it is a high-calorie curry. However, they don't back down and even add a hot spring egg. I will have it in a quantity that can stand without dinner.

Cocoichi, a chain restaurant that doesn't seem to get higher ratings just because it's a chain. I've tried curry from various curry shops and while I find each one delicious, I always come back to Cocoichi thinking it's still good. It's like the home base of the curry world. I eat here regularly but the ratings are so low that I decided to write about it. It seems like everyone goes here but doesn't write about it. On this day, I had pork cutlet with cheese, egg, extra large portion, and extra large curry. It tasted just as good as always. I enjoy the stability and occasionally eat some fukujinzuke before diving back into the curry. It's a happy time. The bill came out to over 1700 yen, which is quite expensive. But it was delicious. Cocoichi is great because no matter which store you go to, the taste is always good. My favorite Cocoichi curry is rice 400 grams, spice level 2, with cheese topping, and I also order something else on the side. I usually choose tuna salad or corn salad as well. Even though spice level 2 has a nice kick to it, I might not be able to handle level 3.

The store is spacious, and even if you're dining alone, they will seat you at a table with plenty of space to relax and enjoy your meal. I really like it. I'm currently hooked on their beef curry with toppings like pork shabu, cheese, mushrooms, and chicken stew. I added extra sauce, and the rice portion was 200g with a mild level of spiciness. The curry at other stores can sometimes be too watery or too thick, but the curry here at this Coco Ichibanya was just right and very delicious!

I stopped by Cocoichi for a late-night snack and had curry. Today, I tried the hamburger curry. I remembered that there was a similar menu at Bikkuri Donkey. I found myself visiting curry places like Kamaru and CoCo Ichibanya. This time, I will review the CoCo Ichibanya Horikawa Marutamachi store. The store is conveniently located next to a 100 yen parking lot where you can get a parking voucher and the store will cover 20 minutes of parking fees. However, since it's not enough time to finish your meal in 20 minutes, you need to pay an additional 100 yen for the extra time. The interior of the store is modern and cozy, with plenty of space to sit comfortably. They also have a good selection of manga in the newspapers, making it a nice place to enjoy your meal while reading. The service and atmosphere at this place are definitely a plus. When it comes to ordering curry, the menu is quite difficult to read. It's divided into seasonal specials, special menus, and regular menus across 3-4 booklets, which makes it hard to navigate. It would be much easier if they had a single booklet or a touch screen system for ordering. Despite the menu being visually appealing, it can be a bit overwhelming for customers. After some consideration, I decided to go with the clam curry with my favorite fish fry topping. The wait time for fried items can be a bit longer, but I used this time to enjoy reading the newspaper. The presentation of the curry was a bit disappointing, as the toppings didn't look as appetizing as they did in the menu photos. However, the taste of the curry was consistent with CoCo Ichibanya's standard, and the combination of clams and fish fry was satisfying. Adding extra spicy spice and plenty of pickles enhanced the overall dining experience. Overall, I had a satisfying meal at CoCo Ichibanya, with a relaxed atmosphere and good food. It was a slow-paced dining experience that made me feel comfortable and content. CoCo Ichibanya never disappoints!

On the Monday after the end of the rainy season, I felt like eating spicy curry for dinner. Since going all the way to Osaka was too much trouble, I decided to go to the nearest "COCO Ichibanya Horikawa Marutamachi Store". I ordered the "Beef Curry with Cream Croquette on Top, 400 grams, Level 10 Spicy" for 1000 yen. It was served in about 10 minutes. It tasted like the usual Coco Ichibanya curry. Since the spiciness was not enough for me, I sprinkled some "Tobikara" spice from the table and finished it. The polite customer service was nice. Thank you for the meal!

I had never been to Cocoichi because I heard their curry was spicy. However, when I was invited to try their mild curry, it was indeed delicious. Since then, I have been going there occasionally. I can understand why people get hooked on Cocoichi. This place is near my club activities, so I used to go there often. The interior of the restaurant is clean and the service is good. My favorite toppings are shrimp cutlets, pork cutlets, grilled meat, and eggs. I plan to go there from time to time.

I go there quite often, so it's not really exciting or impressive anymore, haha. My favorite dish is the Kansai-exclusive beef tendon curry. In the summer, they usually have a curry with summer vegetables and chicken as a regular menu item. I also like the Grandma Curry when it's available for a limited time. The hand-breaded cutlets are delicious, but I feel a bit lonely just having the cutlet, so when I try to add something, it gets a bit pricey. I might go for it when I want a hearty meal. I feel like the salad has become a bit lackluster compared to before. I don't order salad as much anymore. I wonder how much of this Cocoichi curry I've eaten over the years. Probably at least 20 years. Cocoichi has been around for quite a while. It's not mind-blowingly delicious, but it's easy to eat regularly without getting tired of it, which is great for everyday use. Today, I went to CoCo Ichibanya Horikawa Marutamachi for lunch. CoCo Ichibanya is consistent with their taste at each store, so you can eat with confidence. I ordered the chicken stew curry with extra rice, topped with boiled egg and natto. I asked for salt on the boiled egg. The rice is cooked firm to match the curry, which is great. The roux is based on pork curry, which goes well with the chicken. It's just delicious. The natto is slimy and a bit hard to eat, but tasty. The boiled egg with salt on top was served separately. I'm full now. I will definitely come back. Oh, you can adjust the spiciness with the spices on the table. Thank you for the meal.
