The cafe has a total of 12 seats (5 two-person tables, 2 counter seats) and offers a cozy atmosphere with white block walls and tasteful decorations. The clientele consisted mostly of women during my visit, with the exception of me, a slightly unkempt old man among them. The female staff provided attentive and friendly service with heartfelt smiles. I ordered the Quiche Plate for 1400 yen (tax included) along with a hot Earl Grey tea. As a set, the dessert was recommended, and I chose the Strawberry Matcha Shortcake for 700 yen, in addition to the drink. Surprisingly, my Quiche Plate was served relatively quickly, and it turned out to be quite a substantial meal with quiche, two slices of French bread, soup, salad, a long sausage, and a vegetable side dish. The quiche was flavorful with generous amounts of spinach and salmon, while the salad was fresh and dressed with a unique mentaiko dressing. The French bread was crispy and buttery, the sausage was meaty and delicious, and the vegetable side dish was well-seasoned with a vinegar taste. The soup, with beaten egg, had a rich broth and was comforting. For dessert, the Strawberry Matcha Shortcake was light and fluffy, paired perfectly with the fragrant Earl Grey tea. Overall, the food was excellent and suited my taste perfectly. I highly recommend this cafe to those who enjoy this type of cuisine. I look forward to visiting again in the future. SOROR Shrimp Chili Lunch ^_^ Today's lunch at SOROR was a new menu item, Shrimp Chili. It was my first time trying it. Unlike traditional Chinese-style shrimp chili, this dish consisted of fried shrimp topped with chili sauce. It was fresh and delicious (＾ν＾)

Today's lunch at SOROR had steamed chicken, which I haven't had in a while. It was refreshing, with thick meat and a satisfying portion - one of my favorite dishes. The deli menu changes daily, so I can keep coming without getting bored. Make sure to call and reserve before going, as there's nowhere nearby to wait.

I often see a shop on Instagram. I wanted to try the shortcake with SOROR's biscuits on top, so I invited my mother to visit. I called at 10 am and was told that only the 2 pm slot was available, and if I arrived after 2 pm, the cake would be sold out. So, I made a reservation for 2 pm. I remember the sisters who run the shop must be busy, but they were very polite on the phone. I took the Toden from Otsuka and got off at Mukaihara, then walked a bit along the main street. I was looking for the shop in the back alleys because Google Maps was pointing in the wrong direction, so I called and was told it was along the main street. As expected, the exterior and interior of the shop were cute. I placed my order at the counter near the entrance. Here's what I ordered: - Summer vegetable curry plate for me (1400 yen) - Earl Grey (iced) and Peach shortcake (+700 yen) - Thick tofu and shiso meat rolls for my mother (1400 yen) - Coffee (iced) and Peach milk tea roll cake (+700 yen) The plate comes with a drink, and you can add a cake for an additional 600-700 yen. Since there was only one Peach shortcake left, I asked for recommendations and ended up choosing the roll cake because Peach was popular. The time limit is 80 minutes. I think it would be a 60-minute limit if you didn't add cake to the plate. Even though I didn't mention initially that I wanted the plate with cake, they were flexible and accommodated my request. The shop has a counter and a few two-person tables. It's a small shop. - Summer vegetable curry plate: Dry curry taste. Spicy and delicious. The rice seemed to be mixed grain? Healthy. The summer vegetables were not overcooked and were large and colorful, making it cute and appetizing. The soup had sesame oil? and egg flavor. I was full. - Peach shortcake: Served with a drink. As cute as I imagined! Instagram-worthy. The sponge and cream were smooth and soft. It was delicious. I was very satisfied with the plate and cake for lunch. The staff, the sisters, were kind and helpful even though they were busy. The shop has been around for 7 years. SOROR means "sisters."

I called the shop a little after 9 o'clock and was able to make a reservation for 11 o'clock. I ordered the peach and black tea shortcake with apple juice set for 1400 yen. The shortcake here is incredibly delicious, so I highly recommend it!

Today's lunch at SOROR was great! I contacted them in the morning and was able to go for lunch during my break. I was indecisive about the menu, but ended up choosing the taco rice. Today, I visited SoloL for lunch, a place I had been curious about for a while. Last time, I only had cake, so I was interested in trying their lunch menu. I arrived around 2:30 PM and it was almost full. It's definitely popular. There was one seat available, so I ordered the Pumpkin and Bacon Quiche Plate (1400 yen) and the American Cherry Chocolat Shortcake (700 yen) at the counter. Even at this time, all lunch options and cakes were still available, so it's better to visit outside of peak hours if you want a more relaxed experience. The Quiche Plate was served about 5 minutes after I sat down. It looked colorful. I tried the quiche right away. The eggs were fluffy and the pumpkin was sweet and delicious. The soup was egg soup with a hint of sesame oil, also tasty. When I finished eating, the cake and tea were served. SoloL's cakes are always cute. I tried the cake. It's called a Chocolat Shortcake, so it's a bit different from a regular shortcake, but the chocolate sweetness combined with the cherry was quite good. I found this place on Tabelog and saw that they are only open on weekdays, with reviews mentioning that it can get crowded. However, after checking their menu on Instagram, I couldn't resist the Baked Strawberry Cheesecake that cheesecake lovers shouldn't miss! So, I decided to visit around 3:00 pm on Thursday, and to my surprise, there was no line, just two customers ahead of me. I was prepared to wait in line, so it was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the cheesecake and an Earl Grey iced tea (1300 yen) at the counter. The cheesecake and tea were served in about 5 minutes. It was as cute as the reviews said, almost too cute to eat. The taste was delicious, with the perfect match of cheese and strawberry acidity. I heard their lunch is also popular, so I would like to come back for that sometime.

I had been wanting to visit this cafe ever since I saw a delicious cake on SNS. I finally went for lunch and it was crowded, but worth the wait! I chose the avocado and salmon yukke bowl for lunch. It was like a poke bowl and the perfect amount of saltiness made it delicious! Even though I came for the cake, my stomach was already satisfied. The cake I had my eye on was the banana and cocoa cookie cheesecake. Just hearing the combination was amazing, and it was indeed delicious with the right amount of sweetness! It was a satisfying and blissful time with a generous portion.

I came to Otsuka Station and decided to visit this shop that I was curious about. The navigation led me through a narrow residential street, but the shop was actually facing a main street. Lunchtime was over, and there were only a few cakes left, so I chose a set with a café latte and a pudding. The pudding was firm and delicious, with fruits and whipped cream on top. The café latte cup was cute too. The seating area wasn't very spacious, but I was able to relax and enjoy my time. Next time, I want to try the lunch plate!

I had them after a meal, and I think that was the right choice.
