The convenience store is located on the corner, next to the east. You can see the counter, but there are many tables in the back. The main attraction is the grilled oysters. Unfortunately, they were sold out this time. It's great that you can still eat fresh oysters in this season.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I had the oyster fry lunch. The oysters were big and plump, with three of them served. The tartar sauce was delicious. The set also included boiled komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), simmered eggplant, seaweed salad, pickles, seaweed soup, and white rice. It was a satisfying meal. You can get a refill of rice for an additional 200 yen, or upgrade to oyster rice. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Around 19:30, two people entered the restaurant and about half of the seats were occupied. We ordered a luxurious salad with ten different types of seafood, including vinegar oysters (4 pieces), fried oysters (3 pieces), and oyster gratin. When we asked the waitress if the portion size was too much or too little, she said it seemed just right. And indeed, it was just right. Everything was delicious, especially the vinegar oysters, which were perfectly sized and simply delicious. The restaurant was located in a quiet area, the service was polite, and the interior was very clean, so we were satisfied!

Kyoto is a non-toxic oyster specialty shop located in Sanjo. I tried the Shima Peninsula lunch for 3,600 yen, hoping for fresh oysters. The taste and variety were satisfying as expected, but the sake was expensive. It was advertised as a rare sake from Mie, but the price was about double the usual price, and we ended up spending over 10,000 yen for two people. Is it extravagant to enjoy delicious oysters with sake?

- Oyster Fry Lunch for 1,500 yen, includes oyster fry, side dishes, rice, and seaweed soup.
I visited "Matayaki Shima Peninsula," which opened in December last year. They handle oysters produced in Mataya Bay, Shima City, Mie Prefecture, so you can enjoy fresh oysters all year round. The entrance has a counter with 10 seats, and the back has table seats separated by a courtyard. There are three lunch menu options, and I chose the most affordable Oyster Fry Lunch. You can change the plain rice to cooked rice for an additional 200 yen. The side dishes included dried daikon radish, simmered hijiki and soybeans, and seaweed. You can add tartar sauce and Worcestershire sauce to your liking. The crispy coating and creamy oysters were just to my liking. The oysters were large, so even with just three, I was satisfied with one bowl of rice. I even had a second helping of rice, and it was delicious with the flavorful seaweed topping. Thank you for the meal.

After watching it on the Yoi Don TV show, I had put this restaurant on my list of places to visit. I made a lunch reservation when I went to Kyoto to see the cherry blossoms. It's located close to Hankyu Karasuma Station, the service was good, and the restaurant had a nice Kyoto-like atmosphere with a visible courtyard. When I followed them on Instagram, they also offered a complimentary drink. I was able to enjoy delicious oyster dishes without having to go all the way to Mie (´˘`*). However, the only disappointing thing was the draft beer at lunch. Maybe I was the first customer of the day, but the taste of the Premium Malt's beer was not great (๑-﹏-๑). But if I ever crave oysters again, I would like to come back (*´˘`*)

I went to a restaurant that was introduced on a TV show and had to wait for about 30 minutes for lunch. While waiting, I walked around the neighborhood. I received a message and went back to the restaurant. I ordered the oyster fry lunch that was recommended, but changed it to oyster rice. The lunch came with three large oyster fries, three side dishes, and a green onion soup. The oyster fries were juicy and the side dishes were also very tasty. The person next to me ordered a second serving of rice, but I'm not sure if refills are allowed since it wasn't clearly stated. There is a coin parking lot about a 2-minute walk away, which costs around 600 yen for an hour.

The atmosphere was great, the food was filling and satisfying, and I could relax in a calm space by the window. The lunch set even included fresh oysters, so you can enjoy a luxurious feeling. It might be a good idea to make a reservation for lunch on weekends.

I had a fried oyster lunch. Since I didn't make a reservation, I had to sit at the counter. After our group, other customers who didn't make a reservation were turned away because it was full, so it's best to make a reservation on weekends. I could see the process of coating and frying the oysters right in front of the counter. The large oysters with crispy coating, paired with homemade tartar sauce with a hint of egg, were amazing.

The counter staff were worse than the reviews, no greetings, all the staff were part-time workers. Went during busy hours, but still no greetings even after changing into work clothes. The gratin had a bechamel sauce that was like soup. The aioli was as salty as mentioned in reviews. The oysters were small, with a bitter taste and lacked creaminess. The oyster fry was rubbery and not juicy. The only good things were that the restaurant was clean and they offered a free drink as a gesture of goodwill.

The arrow oysters, oyster ajillo, and grilled Ise chicken salad were all delicious. However, there were a few disappointing points. It would be better to stop repeating the order for everyone to confirm. It's not necessary for a non-Izakaya. It's outdated to only accept cash for payment. It's a shame that there are no options for glass wine with the oyster main. The food is delicious, so I hope they will make more effort. They are still developing. I look forward to seeing improvements in the future. I apologize for being critical.

Sunday lunch. I love oysters and had been curious about this restaurant. I had some business at Nishiki Market and was in the mood for oyster fry, so I decided to stop by. There are three lunch options, and this time I chose the most expensive one, the Shima Peninsula lunch for 3600 yen. It's a course full of oysters, using Mie's target arrow oysters. The raw oysters that came out were fresh but lacked plumpness in the meat, which was disappointing. The oyster fry, oyster gratin, oyster rice, yellowtail daikon, and other dishes were served, but the overall quality of the food was not quite there. I didn't feel like the 3600 yen was worth it... If you want to have oyster fry and oyster rice, the oyster fry set meal at a certain restaurant on Sanjo Yanaginobanba is definitely more worth it. I apologize for the harsh review. m(__)m

I couldn't eat raw oysters, so I ordered the Kankanyaki and was impressed by its delicious taste, reminiscent of the turtle's hand I had once eaten. It has a flavor that makes you feel the sea. The aioli and fried oysters were delicious, but especially the Ise potato isobeage and kettle rice were rich in flavor, and I would like to come back again.

I visited a shop specializing in grilled oysters and the overall rating was 3.03. When you leave it to the chef, you don't have to worry about choosing from the menu as they offer a variety of dishes such as raw oysters, vinegar oysters, grilled oysters, and gratin. The grilled oysters here have a unique feature of no fishy taste or smell, so you can keep eating more and more^^ I enjoyed oyster dishes after a long time.

I went to an oyster bar. Although lunch was tempting, I decided to start with the oysters from Tekiya Bay. I had a glass of white wine and enjoyed 3 oysters for 1,750 yen. The oysters were fresh and chewy, just like Tekiya oysters are known for. It reminded me of Ise Shima and Kashiko Island. I was also curious about the tomato sour, but I'll try it next time.

You can enjoy the branded oysters from Mie Prefecture, called "Matayaki". They are washed using a special method, so there is no smell and the shells are clean. They offer both set courses and individual items. The restaurant has a clean atmosphere, making it easy for families with children to enter. There is also a counter, making it a recommended spot for couples on a date or for stopping by with colleagues after work.

I found a restaurant serving oysters while walking along Sanjo Street. I love oysters! And they have a wonderful menu with rock oysters and a set with a little drink. I've actually never tried rock oysters before. Rock oysters are in season in the summer, so I definitely want to try them. The main seating in the restaurant is at the counter, with table seating and a small garden in the back, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. The little drink set includes rock oysters and sparkling wine or sake. Normally priced at 2200 yen, it was on a limited-time offer for 1500 yen. The rock oysters are quite impressive! They look so delicious! They are large and easy to eat as they are cut into pieces. The freshness and flavor are incredible. Then, I took a sip of the chilled sake. Oh, what happiness! Sake is a drink from the land, yet it pairs so well with seafood, it's amazing. Here is the sparkling wine. It's easy to drink with a mineral taste that complements the oysters perfectly. The delicious oysters make me want more sake. I ordered another cup. As the name suggests, the restaurant offers ingredients and sake from Mie Prefecture. The sake is quite strong and dry. And then, I couldn't miss trying the other specialty, the grilled oysters. These are Pacific oysters. They are a bit small due to the season, but they are packed with flavor and delicious. Why is the essence of oysters so deep and flavorful? The next sake is Tamako. It's a fresh sake with a fruity and rich taste. I love Omachi rice. Finally, I had oyster simmered in soy sauce. It's perfect for nibbling while enjoying drinks. Of course, I want to try other dishes as well. I am completely satisfied! The special menu is great, and I want to try other dishes too.

We saw it introduced on TV and visited with 3 people. It was our first time trying live oysters, but everyone was satisfied and the conversation was lively. The oyster rice we ordered as an extra was also good.
