Croissant Ozamando 320 yen (all prices include tax)
A bread that combines the best parts of croissant and melon pan. The surface has the crispy texture of melon pan and sliced almonds. Inside, it has the flaky texture of croissant and a rich cream filling, making it very satisfying. This is my favorite.
Mochimochi Cheese Bread 190 yen
The chewy dough and the flavor of cheese are wonderful. The simplicity of it really highlights those elements.
Mentaiko France 330 yen
The mentaiko doesn't have a fishy taste, and the saltiness is just right. The French bread has a nice aroma of wheat. They use domestically produced wheat flour for all their bread. If it were closer to my home, I would definitely visit many times!

I love Milk France and buy it many times. I like that it has cuts that make it easy to eat. I prefer the round bread with muscat over the one with raisins because it is smoother. I wish they had plain focaccia every time. I always repeat order the Mentaiko France. I bought Campanule for the first time, but it felt more watery than fluffy inside, so I won't repeat order it. However, there are many delicious breads, so I look forward to shopping there every time.

I bought takeout breakfast during my Bon holiday homecoming. I've shopped at Maruetsu before, but this was my first time buying bread here. I bought two Milk French croissants, which I heard are famous. The milk cream was not too sweet, had a rich flavor, and paired well with the outer bread. I don't usually eat sweet things, but I was able to finish one of these pastries in the morning.

This Yuzu Danish is topped with yuzu fruit pulp three times, making it quite heavy. The juicy and naturally sweet flavor of the yuzu pairs well with the custard cream and crispy Danish pastry, providing a satisfying experience.
★ Ham and Cheese Croissant 360 yen
This croissant features a crispy pastry filled with ham and melting cheese. With a strong buttery aroma, it is perfect for breakfast.

At the BABA FLAT bakery, I visited to have lunch but found out that they were opening late that day. While waiting, I decided to sit outside where they had tables set up. Normally, the place gets busy around midday with customers eating in. They offer drinks for 350 yen each, with a self-serve option of 10 different choices. If you order a drink with your bread, it's 50 yen cheaper than ordering it alone. The bread items are mostly priced between 200-300 yen, with around 20 different options available. I opted for a fluffy French toast with a drink set. They asked if I wanted a warm or cold drink, and I chose a cold one. The drinks are self-served near the hamburger corner. Although the selection is not extensive, there is something for everyone. The French toast was indeed fluffy and delicious, just as the name suggests. Considering the prices, I found it to be quite affordable. (August 2023)

This bakery in Takadanobaba is named with the intention of wanting to grow steadily without declining, wanting to stay "flat". I visited this shop for the first time as I had some errands nearby. The shop is located inside the shopping center "Orange Court", about a 10-minute walk from Takadanobaba. The shop had a variety of breads such as hard bread, side dishes, and pastries displayed in its small interior. I purchased the popular Milk France and another item.
☆ Milk France (250 yen): This is the shop's signature product, gaining popularity after being featured on "Arashi ni Shiyagare". It consists of a hard French bread dough filled with milk cream made from fermented butter and condensed milk, with the cream recipe learned from Katane Bakery. The milk cream has a rich flavor and pairs well with the hard French bread, making it understandable why it's popular.
☆ Pizza Bread (4 cheese, 390 yen): One of the various pizza bread options available. The dough is soft and fluffy, with plenty of cheese. It can be reheated for lunch, but I didn't order it that day due to the sweltering heat. Both breads were quite delicious. However, since this shop is far from my usual area, I'm not sure when I'll visit again. I regret not buying their bread when they were available at the now-closed bread select shop "Solte" in Jiyugaoka Station and other places. Thank you for the meal.

- Milk France 250 yen
A milk cream that tastes like condensed milk, very sweet and delicious. The French bread is soft and has a delicious wheat flavor.
- Mentaiko France 330 yen
This French bread is also very chewy! It has a high moisture content and is delicious. The mentaiko (spicy cod roe) is not too spicy, juicy, and delicious. I want to buy it again.
- Italiana 320 yen
A bread with lots of ingredients including dried tomatoes, cream cheese, bacon, basil, and olives. The bread dough is chewy and tasty.
- Tomato Ciabatta 260 yen
Ciabatta with semi-dried tomatoes. The saltiness is just right, and it's delicious even without anything added.

I visited the bakery for the first time with a friend who loves bread. Apparently, there used to be long lines at Milk France, a favorite of Arashi's Matsumoto, but now you can buy Milk France without any limits. In addition to that, we also bought seaweed baguette, mentaiko France, and a few other recommendations from the staff. The seaweed baguette is perfect with Caldi dip and wine. My friend also recommended putting negitoro on top. I would like to buy it again if I have the chance.

☆Visited on a weekday in May 2023 around 10 am, there was a wide variety of bread available with no wait at the register☆ The shop is located a 5-minute walk from JR Takadanobaba Station, near Toyama Park. They also sell drinks and hamburgers, and there is an eat-in space available☆ Purchased item: Milk France for 216 yen, which is the shop's signature item! A hard-type French bread that pairs well with sweet milk. It's small-sized, so you might want to have two!

I heard that the popular cafe's pain de campagne is here, so I stopped by for takeout. They have a variety of sweet and savory breads that would make children happy. I couldn't decide because there were so many options. This time, I used takeout, but there is also a terrace seating outside the store where you can eat in, and they offer sets with drinks and menu items like burgers. The items I bought for takeout were Milk France (216 yen), Cream-filled Rabbit Bread (227 yen), Chocolate Croissant (238 yen), and Caramel Scone (250 yen). They are all reasonably priced and easy to buy for a family snack. It's nice that you can easily stop by and pick up something. I enjoyed them all this time too. Thank you for the meal.

This bakery is well-known locally for its delicious bread. The square loaf bread is especially tasty, so I recommend trying it in a sandwich. However, it tends to sell out quickly. Also, the limited edition chocolate Danish from winter to spring is a must-try for its melt-in-your-mouth goodness! The drink set goes well with any bread, and for an additional 300 yen, you can enjoy free refills, making it a great deal. The neighboring hamburger place also offers healthy options with fresh vegetables and is equally delicious!

A famous bakery in Takadanobaba, always with long lines. They have a convenient terrace seating area for eating in. Next to it is a hamburger shop, so you can switch up your meals. The best thing here is their white bread, so I usually order a sandwich, but today they were sold out so I bought a variety of items. Milk French bread, chocolate Danish, corn potage bread, pizza bread, and crispy burger. Among the best in Tokyo. Also, their set meals come with unlimited drinks, so it's a great deal.

A bakery and cafe inside Maruetsu Orange Court. They have outdoor seating for about 20 people where you can enjoy the bread you buy. I visited for the first time around lunchtime on a weekday. They have a wide variety of bread, making it hard to choose. I was going to pick a bread to eat, but then I saw they had burgers on the menu, so I decided to try one. The price varies depending on whether it's beef or chicken and if you add cheese. A regular chicken burger costs 580 yen, a beef burger costs 750 yen, and a double cheese burger costs 1,200 yen. You can add a drink set for 300 yen, or a side set of potato, onion rings, or salad for 350 yen, or both for 600 yen. I opted for a simple beef hamburger set. The beef hamburger costs 750 yen and the side and drink set costs 600 yen, totaling 1,350 yen. They accept electronic payments like PayPay and Suica. It felt a bit pricey, almost like a gourmet burger joint. Next to it, there's a burger place called "Crispies Burger," specializing in crispy chicken burgers, which seems to be affiliated with Babafuret. The drink bar for the free drinks is located there. I was served in about 10 minutes. The burger was tasty with fresh vegetables and a juicy patty. The sauce was barbecue-like. The portion was not too big, and the burger was a bit lacking in flavor. The fries were average, and the drink was ordinary. I drank it there and got a refill to go. Next time, I'll try their bread.

There is a bakery in Takadanobaba. I had received their bread as a gift before, but this was my first visit. It's a bit of a walk from the station and a bit confusing to find inside a building. They offer seating outside, but I opted for takeout. I chose the raisin bread, milk French bread, and mentaiko (spicy cod roe) French bread. When I reheated them at home, I found them to be on the harder side, which I personally like. The milk French bread had a nice milk flavor, and the mentaiko French bread was very flavorful.

A very famous bakery in Nishi Waseda. I bought a crispy chicken burger and a salted butter bread for dinner. Even though I say I don't like butter, I have been consuming more butter lately with salted butter bread and butter sandwiches. The bread has a perfect balance, with just the right amount of saltiness and a hint of butter in a crispy outer layer and a soft, fine-textured inside. I also wanted to try the olive bread, but it was sold out today. It's amazing to have such a delicious and popular bakery in the middle of the apartment complex.

After finishing up some errands at Takadanobaba Station, I visited this shop for the first time a little after 6 pm. There were outdoor terrace seats right outside the shop, and they were also selling salad deli items, but since it would take a while to get home, I decided to purchase a melon bread for ¥227 and a small loaf of raisin bread for ¥378 inside the shop. I wondered if the bread was pre-sliced, but it wasn't, so I was recommended to have it cut, and I opted for 3 thick slices. I decided to save both breads for the next day after having dinner. The melon bread had a crispy outer layer with a good amount of butter, not overly sweet, and the cookie dough on the outside was tasty. The layers inside were packed, giving it a satisfying texture. The bread had a strong flavor, allowing me to fully appreciate the taste of the bread. The raisin bread was very chewy even without toasting. It contained three types of raisins, possibly rum-soaked, but they were not overpowering, and like the melon bread, it was a delicious bread that highlighted the flavor and aroma of the bread itself. While some of the prices may seem a bit high, I believe this is a bakery that makes delicious breads that fully bring out the aroma and flavor of the bread itself. Thank you for the meal.

Croissant, pain au chocolat, mentaiko France, bacon and onion purchased. The croissant is crispy. The pain au chocolat is fluffy. The mentaiko France is spicy with plenty of spicy cod roe, and the taste is addictive. The bacon and onion on a baguette open sandwich are delicious when reheated in the oven, with crispy onions and bacon. *Eat-in space available.

The bread at BABA FLAT HANARE was delicious... I was moved... Let's take these breads home and continue the dream there♪ Although I couldn't meet some of the breads during the all-you-can-eat session, I encountered them at this shop and ended up capturing a lot of them. Anko x condensed milk cream bread, Mentaiko French bread (not shown in the photo), and scones, a group of four! What's so delicious about them is that the bread itself is really tasty! The aroma of wheat is rich, and when you take a bite, you feel like taking a deep breath, do you understand? I met the Mentaiko French bread and cream bread at the all-you-can-eat session, and they were so amazing that I decided to buy them here too☆ The cream bread will cast a spell on you with its incredible deliciousness. The Mentaiko French bread is filled with plenty of Mentaiko and is so juicy when baked, it's the type that might hurt your upper jaw but it's the best☆! Even when I bought them and took them home, I couldn't help but admire their appearance in my palm as I walked back. Whether you're into sweet or savory breads, you can't miss these breads here. I hope that many people will get to meet these breads... And the staff, the older brother, was also very nice (this is important), so even if you're not here for the bread, you should visit for the older brother♪
