They have everything from groceries to household items, so it's really convenient! They make side dishes in the store, which reminds me of home-cooked meals. They also sell fresh meat and fish, so the quality is always top-notch. It's located near my house, so I feel like I haven't been cooking at all lately... haha. You can find Kyoto vegetables at great prices, as well as local specialties like spicy dishes. There are many Fresco Supermarkets in Kyoto, making it convenient to shop. Personally, I like to buy simmered Fukui chili peppers (198 yen) and a highball drink (100 yen) to enjoy in my hotel room after a bath. There are many souvenirs to choose from in Kyoto, but starting with Fresco is a good idea.
