The beef bowl (700 yen) at this tekkaba place is really something. It comes out in just 2 seconds when you order it solo. The rice is piping hot and delicious. It's a bit tough to finish the large portion though! You can't really customize it since it's already made, so it's a bit wasteful to leave any behind.

Today, I attended the Mile Championship to determine the strongest mile king at the Kyoto Racecourse. Starting with the first race, I headed straight to Yoshinoya for breakfast. - Beef bowl (large size): 550 yen The Kyoto Racecourse branch only serves large size bowls! Real men go for the large size! I bought it and returned to my seat in the stands. It's already November and the weather is bad, so it's quite cold. Eating the beef bowl in such cold weather was warm and incredibly delicious! I devoured it quickly. It was the first time I had such a delicious beef bowl. The broth was generous and the flavor soaked into the rice, making it tasty. But it didn't warm my lonely wallet...
