This is my second visit to Teoka Fon on a Saturday. My daughter had never been here before. We ordered a matcha plate for 700 yen, an early autumn float for 680 yen (grape mixed berry), and a kinako pudding for 450 yen. The natural interior of the restaurant is very calming. There was only one group of customers when we arrived, but three more groups came later and the place was almost full. Most of the customers were women. My daughter enjoyed the sweet treats while I had the kinako pudding (lately, I've been into kinako-flavored sweets for some reason). The early autumn float was a beautiful drink, but the price was a bit high, in my opinion. Still, it was an interesting idea and tasted delicious, so I couldn't help but order it again. It was nice to have a relaxing tea time with my daughter. Thank you for the meal.

I had been thinking for a while that the exterior of this place was cute, and I finally got to go! I had a White Mocha for 600 yen. I also wanted to try the matcha sweets, but this time I just had tea. The drink had plenty of cream on top, and the taste was not too bitter, it was delicious. The menu and interior were cute, and I ended up staying longer than I planned. Since it was a weekday, the place wasn't too crowded. The service was good, so next time I go, I want to try the matcha sweets. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Teahouse Theocafé with my family during our trip to Kyoto. We arrived around 2 pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was full. We had to wait for about 10 minutes before we could get a table. There were a few other groups who came after us but left because it was crowded. It seemed like it was more about timing than being busy at that time.
When in Kyoto, you must try matcha sweets! But if you can't eat a lot, Teahouse Theocafé has the perfect solution - the matcha sweets plate. I ordered the matcha sweets plate (700 yen) and also got the matcha special sweets set (1100 yen) which included a drink of my choice. I thought about getting a matcha latte with the matcha sweets, but decided to go all out on matcha.
The matcha latte was a bit too sweet for my liking, but after walking a lot and feeling tired, the sweetness was just right. The highlight was definitely the sweets plate - you get to try a variety of sweets in small portions, and they were all delicious. The matcha eclair and roll cake were my favorites, as they had matcha cream which really made me feel like I was enjoying matcha. The matcha flavor wasn't too strong, so I think it would appeal to everyone.
I felt that Teahouse Theocafé is a must-visit spot in Kyoto. The food was really delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

On Sunday at 15:50, after watching a movie at MOVIX, I headed to Teokafon. I was expecting it to be crowded, but surprisingly there were only a few customers. The interior had a calm atmosphere with a touch of marine style here and there, making it a fancy place to relax. I couldn't resist ordering the matcha sweets plate, and when looking for a drink, I found cream soda on the last page of the menu. The matcha sweets plate was a must-try, and the cream soda (Hawaiian blue) was a bit of an overexcited choice in retrospect. The cream soda tasted as expected, and the matcha sweets plate offered a great variety of matcha flavors, perfect for enjoying the Kyoto vibe. The staff, mostly lovely ladies, provided friendly and polite service. It seemed like a popular choice among customers, and it was a great cafe to take a break with my matcha-loving daughter. Thank you for the meal.

On July 28th, I went shopping with two of my best friends in Shinkyogoku. During our outing, one of my friends spotted a cafe that looked like it served delicious shaved ice, so we decided to stop by "TEO KAFON" for a treat. We arrived at 1:10 pm and found the cafe to have a chic and casual atmosphere. We chose a table in the middle of the cafe and ordered the "Pastel Blue Lemon" shaved ice that caught our eye in the photos outside, costing 864 yen. The shaved ice arrived in just 6 minutes and looked sparkling and fun, reminiscent of a night sky. The syrup was Blue Hawaii-flavored, with sweet rice crackers on top. The ice was fluffy, and when we poured a different syrup on top, the color changed from blue to purple, which was quite interesting. The shaved ice had a lemon flavor, and as we dug in, we found pieces of mandarin orange and frozen pineapple, adding a refreshing touch. The inclusion of frozen desserts as accents was a nice touch, and the color-changing feature was playful and enjoyable. We stayed until 1:55 pm and when we went to pay, we noticed an "Insta Panel" at the register, which seemed to be a service for easy Instagram updates. The young female staff members were friendly and provided great service. Overall, we had a pleasant experience at this cafe and would definitely consider becoming regulars if it were closer to us. Thank you for the meal!

I thought the cafe I wanted to go to was in a remote area of Kyogoku☻ It's not a place I usually pass by, so I didn't know there was such a cafe there☻ It was hot outside, but once I entered the cafe, the air conditioning was working really well and it was quite cold⤵︎ The cafe has a small number of seats, but it's a new place and the interior is clean and stylish◎ The Matcha Sweets Plate I had was like the trendy sets you can find in Nagoya or other places lately♬ It included Matcha Tart, Matcha Roll, Matcha Chocolate Balls, Matcha Biscuits, and Matcha Eclair. My friend and I shared it, so we didn't get to try everything, but overall it was delicious◎ They also offer individual items, so I would like to try the Eclair next time☻ The Matcha Latte had a strong flavor and was delicious◎ It was quite cold inside due to the air conditioning, so I thought maybe I should have ordered it hot, but it was still good◎ It's easy to access in Kyogoku, but it's not very visible at first glance, so it seems like a hidden gem. They also have food menu, so I would like to visit again if I have the chance♬

I visited a matcha sweets set that I often see on Instagram and wanted to try. The appearance was cute and the atmosphere inside the store was stylish, but the sweets themselves were just average, not necessarily bad but not delicious enough to make me want to go back. I think once is enough.

I can't resist matcha sweets. I chose this menu because I can enjoy various types of matcha sweets. It can be tricky to find ones with a true matcha flavor, but this one definitely had it and was delicious. Everything was small, so perfect for those who like to try a little bit of everything.

I was looking forward to this popular restaurant, but the taste and atmosphere were cheaper than I expected, lacking in photogenic appeal. (Well, considering the price is only 600 yen, it may be understandable.) The interior of the store was also simple, leaving me feeling a bit unsatisfied. The age group seemed younger and lively, not really suitable for adults. It's more suitable for high school students or younger who want to keep it affordable.
