On a certain day in November, we had a family gathering at this traditional restaurant in Nantan City. Although we have had their bento before, it was our first time dining in. The restaurant had a spacious interior with tatami mat rooms and a lovely garden. They offer various plans such as sukiyaki and hot pot, but this time we tried their "Chicken Mizutaki". The ingredients provided got us excited, with bone-in chicken pieces, meatballs, and plenty of vegetables. We raised our glasses, started cooking the mizutaki, and the chicken was incredibly tender! The preparation was excellent, making the meat so soft that it fell off the bone. The vegetables were also well-prepared, and the ponzu sauce complemented the dish perfectly. It was an unforgettable night that changed our perception of mizutaki. The quality of this long-established restaurant was truly exceptional. I heard their sukiyaki is also amazing, so I hope to have the chance to try it again in the future.
