One of the summer memories I cherish is the time I went to a beer garden, which has now become a summer tradition(?). Every year when summer arrives, I look forward to the beer garden season. This year (2023), I finally got the chance to visit a beer garden that I had been wanting to go to every time I saw Kyoto Tower in the summer. Located on the 10th floor of Kyoto Tower, the beer garden was already crowded even before it officially started (I went for the 7:00 PM session). Upon entering the venue after checking in, I was greeted with a beautiful view of Kyoto Station building right below, and I also had the unique experience of looking up at Kyoto Tower from directly below (6th photo). I went with a friend and we ordered the "Variety Set" (¥3,000 per person) along with the "Premium All-You-Can-Drink" option (¥2,200 per person). The "Variety Set" included three types of meat marinated in flavorful sauce (pork, beef, chicken), a fresh seafood set (scallops, shell-on shrimp, squid), a vegetable set (cabbage, bell peppers, green peppers), and a yakisoba set for the finale (5th photo). You get to grill the delicious ingredients yourself in a BBQ style (^_^) What makes this beer garden special is not only the opportunity to enjoy tasty food but also the activity of grilling food while feeling the cool breeze on the high floors of Kyoto Tower. Of course, beer is essential in a beer garden! You can enjoy all-you-can-drink Sapporo, Asahi, and Kirin beers. There are also other delicious drinks available, so even if you don't drink beer, you can still have a good time. Personally, I enjoy drinking a lot of beer ( ̄∇ ̄) On a side note, I was so engrossed in eating, drinking, grilling, and chatting that I almost forgot to take photos of the food and drinks (lol). Well, that's how enjoyable a beer garden can be ( ̄∇ ̄)
