I booked a luxurious afternoon tea experience with my wife through Ikyu. The place was almost fully booked, probably because of the season, so making a reservation is a must if you plan to go. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne, which was refreshing and light, setting the tone for a luxurious experience. For those who don't drink alcohol, they can also make a special non-alcoholic drink for you. The sweets were served on a 4-tiered stand, each dessert looking beautiful and elegant. The first one I tried was the Jerusalem artichoke tart, with a crispy ribbon-like texture on top and a smooth and refreshing sweetness inside. The salmon cake with caviar was a standout in the savory category, with a perfect balance of saltiness, umami from the salmon, and acidity. Moving on to the sweet treats, the apple tart was a favorite, with small apple balls that rolled around in your mouth, offering a mix of sweetness and acidity. The coconut financier on the bottom tier was also delicious, with a crunchy sugar topping and a soft, sweet interior. I switched to Royal Milk Tea at this point, which paired perfectly with the desserts. The iced milk tea was especially delicious, with its subtle sweetness and aroma complementing all the sweets. Overall, it was a luxurious and relaxing afternoon tea experience in an elegant setting, perfect for indulging in a special treat with your loved one.

I visited after a long time, but it was disappointing. I made a last-minute reservation and hurried over, but the menu had been reduced so much that there was hardly anything to choose from... I ended up ordering the unchanged Mont Blanc dessert, but... it seemed smaller than before (laughs). There was a feeling of cost-cutting in various aspects, and the elegant atmosphere seemed to have disappeared.

Slowly looking at the greenery of the Imperial Palace while having a meeting naturally leads to good conversation topics, and it helps me relax, so I think it's a really great place. The chestnut cake is incredibly delicious, and it's nice that not only coffee but also various drinks are available for free flow. ✨

This is a high-quality space that makes you think "This is the night view of Tokyo" - Palace Hotel's "Lounge Bar Prive". I chose the Singapore Sling cocktail after a long time. It was accompanied by a cute flower, and the color of the drink was also cute, making me feel a little excited. There were hardly any tourists, and it was a quiet adult bar. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

In the evening, I wanted to have tea near Otemachi Station, so I made a reservation in advance. I opted for a 90-minute free flow, but one cup was enough for me. I tried the specialty, Chestnut Chantilly, but couldn't finish it because I was full. It wasn't crowded even on a holiday, so no reservation was needed. There were many varieties of rooibos tea and herbal tea available.

During my student days, I worked part-time at the Palace Hotel. It was before the renovation, and I worked at the steakhouse, guiding customers who had finished their teppanyaki meals to the lounge for dessert. After school, I would take the Odakyu line to Chiyoda line and head to Otemachi. On this particular day, I moved from Meijijingu-mae to Otemachi on the Chiyoda line, which brought back nostalgic memories. The lobby lounge was always bustling even on weekdays, so I opted to go to the "Lounge Bar Prive" instead. The Palace Hotel's traditional "Marron Chantilly" is a classic, but the "Iced Royal Milk Tea" was the best I've ever had. It was sweetened, unlike the one in the lobby lounge, but the balance of flavors was exquisite. Apparently, it took 5 years to perfect this taste, thanks to the certified tea master from Ronnefeldt. This Iced Royal Milk Tea alone was as delicious as any dessert!

I arrived around 6 o'clock, so I was able to enjoy a pleasant time from before the sun set until after it did. It was a space that made me feel like I was experiencing glamping. The seafood carpaccio was incredibly delicious. It's the perfect place for a date.

I feel like going to a hotel lounge on a special day. My heart is full with a melon and white flower martini. When I drink this exquisite cocktail, I feel motivated to do my best for another year. I hope to visit again as a reward for my hard work. It was also a joy to be able to see the night view of the city, including the Imperial Palace, through the glass windows.

I made a reservation for a slightly elegant cafe on my day off and visited the bar inside the Palace Hotel! Through online reservation, you can order a set that includes free-flow cake and tea. I love chestnut chantilly, so I ordered it, but there are several options to choose from. The tea menu is very extensive, offering both hot and iced options. There are also choices like matcha latte, which is enjoyable. The seats are spacious and not too crowded, so I highly recommend it. The ambiance is different from the afternoon tea on the first floor, allowing you to spend a leisurely and elegant time, so I would like to visit again.

6th floor lounge bar at Palace Hotel. It's next to Estelle. I didn't know this place existed. They have a dessert + café free flow plan, so I made a reservation for that. There are several dessert options, but I chose the classic Mont Blanc. They also offer a variety of teas, including milk tea and herbal tea (probably over 10 types). It felt like time would fly by while trying to decide. It's like a simplified version of afternoon tea, but I loved the easy reservation process, the nice clientele, and the spacious seating. It was a fun experience.

I visited the lounge bar at the Palace Hotel at night before, but this time I came for afternoon tea. The view of the Imperial Palace is quite pleasant. The Mont Blanc dessert I had was one of the best I've ever had. It was made with chestnuts and was not too sweet, with a beautiful appearance. The chestnut was easy to eat, and it harmonized perfectly with the whipped cream on the outside, which was also not too sweet and had a good texture. It was quite expensive at 2,700 yen with coffee, but the taste was very satisfying.

I visited "Lounge Bar Prive" located in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. It is on the 6th floor of the Palace Hotel Tokyo (directly connected from Otemachi Station on the Tokyo Metro). The atmosphere is calm and the seating arrangement is spacious, allowing you to relax peacefully. The view outside, with the contrast between high-rise buildings and greenery, is beautiful. Here is what I tried this time (I have also included some impressions):
- Strawberry and Vanilla Shake: This shake, made with strawberries and vanilla, may look ordinary at first, but it actually contains herbal tea inside. After the initial sweetness, a refreshing taste comes through, making it enjoyable without getting tired of it.
- Marron Chantilly: I purchased this to take away, so I will share my thoughts on it separately.
- Coffee: The staff's service was excellent, and I was able to enjoy delicious sweets. Thank you for the meal.

After enjoying a delicious black vinegar pork cutlet sandwich at TtexurA, I headed to the lounge at Palace Hotel. I was hoping to try the chestnut Mont Blanc, but when I arrived at 2:30 pm, the small chestnut Mont Blanc was sold out. As I was about to give up and leave, the staff suggested checking the bar lounge on the 6th floor, where they might have it. To my surprise, they did have it at the bar lounge, and they even reserved a seat for me and escorted me to the 6th floor. The service level at luxury hotels is truly different. The bar lounge offered a prime seat with a view of the greenery of the Imperial Palace, even better than the lobby lounge on the 1st floor. I ordered the Premium Mont Blanc with small chestnuts from Obuse (2400 yen) with a tea set (+1300 yen). The Mont Blanc, resembling winter with its pure white appearance, initially seemed rich and thick with plenty of cream, making me wonder if I could finish it all. However, when I tried it with the chestnut cream inside, my worries disappeared with the distinct chestnut flavor. The chestnut cream made from Obuse chestnuts had a delightful aroma and a unique chunky texture, delivering a strong chestnut flavor that was truly delicious. The intense chestnut flavor of the chunky chestnut cream, not overshadowed by the rich cream, kept me indulging until the last bite. Enjoying the Mont Blanc with a rich chestnut flavor while gazing at the greenery of the Imperial Palace was fantastic. Thank you for the meal. The delicious season of Marron Chantilly has arrived♡♡ I wanted to try the Shine Muscat parfait because I'm feeling greedy, but they didn't have it at the bar, haha. I will have to come back for a rematch!! ===========

I often use the Palace for meetings and work recently. It can get very crowded on weekends, but on weekdays there is a 90-minute time limit and you can relax without waiting. I also like the cafe at the Empire, but the Palace has a modern and open feel with nature, which is the best! The service staff are attentive and always offer water and coffee before they run out. The prices are reasonable for the value of the space, and personally, I love it!

Palace Hotel 6F. I used the afternoon tea service. I was guided to the seat at the back of the window side, the best seat. It was my best friend's birthday celebration afternoon tea, so I was very happy with the lovely seat. Ah, how leisurely time is passing. The view of the Imperial Palace area, the really wonderful view, and the spacious space where you can relax in the high ceiling and fluffy chairs are just perfect. I can look at it forever... haha. This time's menu was roughly like this: Blueberry and Coconut Pavlova, Orange Swiss Roll, Mango Apricot Cheesecake, Jelly Peach Tartlet, Zucchini Gazpacho Soup, Lemon Tomato and Basil Tartlet, Fresh Cream and Salmon, Melon and Vanilla Panna Cotta, Citrus Madeleine, 70% Chocolate, Raspberry Marmalade, Tarragon Pound Cake. I tried tarragon pound cake for the first time, but it was surprisingly delicious! There were two pieces of this one, but I devoured them. Each one was very delicate and refined, and of course, the taste was perfect! It was so delicious, and I felt very happy.

I had some time before meeting for dinner, so I decided to visit this bar. It's one of my favorites in Tokyo. Although it's not on a high floor, the view overlooking the Imperial Palace, Marunouchi, the National Diet Building, and the Metropolitan Police Department building gives a sense of the city's history and the passage of time. Enjoying a cocktail while feeling the long history of the place. The cocktails were well-balanced and delicious. I definitely want to come back to this place again.

I visited for lunch today. Despite being worried about getting sunburned, I decided to sit on the terrace for the first time. It was a bit windy, so my hair and napkins kept flying around, but the weather was nice and I had a relaxing time. I ordered a panini for my meal. I liked the simple dressing on the salad, and the panini was delicious. I visit this place often, and I really love the atmosphere here. ❤️

The top-notch customer service, prime location, and exquisite ambiance were impressive. I was seated at the end of the counter, where I enjoyed the view outside the window and the lineup of bottles on the counter. After indulging in sweets and coffee, I had beer and whiskey, all of which were elegant and delicious. The bartender recommended a highball whiskey with a hint of orange flavor, which was fantastic. I will definitely visit again!

Met up with a friend for a lunch meeting. Booked a salad lunch with 2 hours of café use through ikkyu.com. The view of the Imperial Palace moat below was calming and the atmosphere was quite nice (^ω^) It could be good for business meetings or negotiations as well. It's convenient to get there from Otemachi Station through the underground passage, so you won't get wet on rainy days and you could even take a taxi if it's not too crowded. Tried various unique herbal teas, black teas, and coffees, chatted away, and before we knew it, 2 hours had flown by. Maybe thanks to the generosity of the staff, we ended up staying for about 3 hours (lol) It was a luxurious atmosphere and really great~(^ω^) I'd love to visit again. Maybe because I drank too much tea, the urge to pee in the afternoon was no joke (lol)
