Located near the 100 yen shop on the first floor parking lot along the Taketa Highway, across from "Nigiri Chojiro Taketa Store". I ordered the most popular item, "Salt mayonnaise with lots of green onions". At first glance, I thought, "So many green onions!" They seem to have shriveled due to being pre-made. The takoyaki is originally supposed to be hollow. The batter has a unique dashi flavor that is quite strong. The inside is not too gooey, and the combination of salt sauce and mayonnaise is good. However, there are too many green onions, throwing off the balance of flavors. The green onions add a grassy and bitter taste. Even though I like green onions, I cannot recommend the "green onion topping".

The service was not very friendly, but the food was decent. "We're sold out of green onions for the long weekend!" What?! 8 pieces for 370 yen.

When I used to work in Fushimi, I would often stop by this place on my way back home. Today, after a long time, I passed by and it was open, so I didn't hesitate to go in! Among all the takoyaki I've ever had, this one definitely ranks in the top five! My recommendation is salt and mayonnaise! However, today I had only salt! Even with just salt, the takoyaki is incredibly delicious!

In December 2015, I tried three different kinds of takoyaki for a total of 960 yen (320 yen each for salt mayo, soy sauce, and sauce mayo). The classic sauce flavor was my favorite. In June 2015, I paid 370 yen for 8 takoyaki at a food stall in a 100 yen shop parking lot. I had to wait for 10 minutes. I chose sauce, salt, or ponzu sauce flavors with toppings like green onions (50 yen) and mayonnaise. The takoyaki itself had a nice flavor. The toothpicks were long and easy to use. It's a good idea to order in advance, browse the shop during the wait, and pick up the takoyaki on the way out. I want to try the mentaiko, salt, and ponzu flavors next time.

On May 5, 2012, around 4:00 PM, in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City, I visited a takoyaki shop near a 100 yen store. The shop had a good smell of takoyaki, so I decided to buy some to take home and have with a chu-hi drink. The shop, called "Donaiya Takeda Store," is located in the parking lot of the 100 yen store. They offer various flavors of takoyaki, including sauce, soy sauce, salt, and ponzu, with the option of adding mayonnaise. I tried the sauce, soy sauce, and salt flavors, and they were all delicious with a nice balance of textures. The takoyaki had a crispy exterior and a soft interior, with a hint of dashi in the batter. I will definitely go back to try the other flavors like ponzu and dashi. The shop's motto is "Competing with flavor," and I can say that they definitely deliver on that promise.

You can't walk past this shop without stopping. Whenever I head home without any plans, I always end up stopping by here! (laughs) I'm from Osaka, so I love takoyaki, and the takoyaki here is highly recommended. I don't like waiting for them to cook, so I always get them when they're ready. My favorite is the salt mayonnaise flavor. Sometimes I also buy the ponzu sauce. It's 530 yen for a pack of 12. The inside is gooey and delicious! I wish the outside dough was a bit crispier, but I always end up eating all 12 in one go!

I got takeout of mentaiko cheese and ponzu sauce. It was delicious. I don't have the chance to go there often, so I thought I'd go now.
