I had some free time on a weekday and decided to visit a shop that I couldn't go to on weekends. I started my day at 2F coffee with a pudding. I arrived just before the 11:30 am opening time and sat at the window counter seat. I ordered an ice-topped pudding (700 yen) and this week's coffee, a Honduran blend (580 yen). The shop had a large table and counter seating for about 10 people, with many customers coming in for muffins. The pudding was larger than expected, firm in texture with a rich eggy flavor and sweetness. The vanilla ice cream on top was fragrant and delicious. While it might have been better to eat them separately, as the ice cream started to melt and mix with the pudding and caramel, the combination became even more delicious. The strong acidity of the Honduran coffee paired well with the sweet dessert. The pudding was one of the best I've ever had, making me wish I could enjoy it on weekends too. Thank you for the meal. Located at the 2nd floor of a building at Irifune 1-chome intersection, this small café called "2F coffee" has a renovated interior with a stylish vibe, giving off an old-fashioned feel. The café uses wood for its interior design, offering a nice view overlooking the intersection. Their iced coffee is priced at 600 yen and stands out for its smooth and mellow flavor, unlike the strong coffee taste found in many other places. Despite only spending about 10 minutes there, I was able to cool down and relax.

Today, I had a fig scone sandwich. The scone had red bean paste and cream on it, topped with figs. The juicy figs paired perfectly with the red bean paste and cream, making it delicious.

[2023.8.3] Blueberry Cream Cheese: Both muffins have a moist and soft texture. The difference in the size of the incorporated grains in the dough seems to affect this. The taste and texture of the cream cheese stand out more than the acidity of the blueberries.
Banana Peanut Butter: The banana flavor seems to have completely melted into the dough, with no clear boundary between the taste and texture of the banana and the dough. The peanuts have a soft texture similar to boiled peanuts and also seem to have melted into the dough.

NieF Coffee @ Hatchobori, Tokyo (@2f_coffee) "Cafe au Lait (Decaf, Iced)" "Scone Sandwich American Cherry" After a year, I finally had the chance to visit this place again. A place full of memories. Although I've been eyeing the muffins and pudding, I went for my favorite scone this time. The American cherry shines like a jewel, sparkling and juicy. The scone is crunchy and has a rich aroma from the whole wheat texture. The cream cheese in between adds a subtle sweetness that complements both the scone and the American cherry. Time flies quickly, but it was a wonderful moment that I would love to remember over and over again. Looking forward to the event in September! Thank you for the meal. On Friday the 13th, I entered the shop on the 2nd floor and it looked like there were seats available, but due to COVID measures, it was actually full so I waited outside the door for about 5 minutes. Eventually, a seat opened up and I went inside. I sat at the counter by the window. I had been curious about their pudding for a while, but I recently saw American cherry scones on Instagram and wanted to try them. I found out that scones are available from 3 pm, but unfortunately, they were already sold out. Since I had just had lunch, I ordered pudding and iced coffee. The pudding was firm, which I like, but very smooth with a hint of alcohol in the caramel flavor, making it delicious. I didn't take a photo, but I bought a plum muffin to take home. It was crispy on the outside and tasty. The staff mentioned that the muffins tend to sell out around 2 pm, and I saw them disappearing quickly as some customers were getting takeout only. I should have ordered the muffin before the pudding. Next time, I'll aim for the muffin or scone... Thank you for the meal!

This is my second visit. I ordered the scone sandwich again. The scone sandwich with ice cream and strawberry jam is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The texture is unique and delicious. The combination of strawberry jam and ice cream is perfect, and I finished it quickly. It was delicious again this time.

Hatchobori Station, 3 minutes walk, open from 11:30 to 18:30, closed on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. American cherry scone sandwich for ¥750, iced coffee for ¥600. The crunchy and chewy texture of the whole wheat scone with American cherries and mascarpone sandwiched in between was too good to be true~✨ It's a bit challenging with the weekend closing, but I'm glad I made it in time for cherry season~!! The classic menu item, the pudding, is also recommended.

This is a small cozy shop located on the second floor of a mixed-use building. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with large glass windows that provide a great view of the intersection. The coffee was delicious and the pudding had a nice firm texture and elegant flavor. I would like to try their muffins next time.

A cafe located a 1-2 minute walk from Hatchobori. It is only open on weekdays. If you go up the stairs to the second floor, there are 7 counter seats, with 4 facing the intersection where you can see outside. There is also a large table seat. The scone sandwich is popular, and you can make a reservation by phone, but it seems to be quite competitive. I didn't plan to go in advance, so I ordered the menu of the day. I visited around 4 pm, and the dessert of the day was pudding and muffin. I ordered Earl Grey pudding and ice cream. The pudding is slightly larger with a creamy surface but smooth inside. The vanilla aroma is good and delicious. The caramel sauce has a moderate bitterness and a slightly alcoholic nuance. It felt like one of the best puddings I've ever had. The Earl Grey has a good aroma and tastes delicious. This raises expectations for other sweets, so I would like to try the scone sandwich if I can make a reservation again. They also had carrot cake at one point.

I was taken to a recommended cafe! From the outside, you wouldn't know, but the interior is very stylish and has a calming atmosphere. I had a blend coffee and my companion shared a bite of their pudding with me. It was not too sweet and delicious. I wished I had more time to spend there, it was a really nice cafe!

2F coffee in Shin-Tomi-cho. Located on the second floor of a building along Shin-Okubo Street heading towards Hatchobori from Shin-Tomi-cho. The shop is not very conspicuous, giving off a casual vibe. Upon climbing the stairs, you'll see a drawing of a pudding at the entrance. On this day, I visited to try their pudding. What I had was a pudding topped with ice cream. It had a cute shape. The pudding was smooth and had a milky flavor. It seemed to have a good balance of eggs and milk, rather than being a firm pudding. In the end, I ended up eating the pudding almost on its own, without much of the vanilla ice cream. I really enjoyed the taste. It's a pudding that makes you want to eat it again. Thank you for the meal.

The cafe I had been curious about on Instagram because their muffins and scones looked delicious (maybe Myレビ-san knows it too) was a small place with 2 counter seats by the window x2, 7 dining tables. Both counter seats and one dining table had customers already when I arrived. The place quickly filled up after me and became full. This cafe only serves muffins and pudding for food (scones are available from 3 pm). I visited before noon, thinking it would be crowded during cafe time, but I didn't expect it to be this busy at lunchtime. I sat at a dining table, and the person in front of me ordered 2 muffins and pudding for lunch. Muffins were freshly baked. The combination of sweet summer oranges and cream cheese was refreshing. You can only order one type of muffin per person, up to 2 pieces. The atmosphere of the cafe was not as relaxed as I had imagined, probably due to the crowd. Google reviews also have mixed opinions. It might be lucky to be able to spend a leisurely time at the counter, which seems to be the best seat, during a less busy time. May 2023. Rating: 3.54

The custard pudding with a beautiful appearance was firm, bouncy, and delicious. You can enjoy it with a slightly bitter caramel sauce, or with ice cream. It was a great moment spent with good company.

There is a cafe located on the second floor as the name suggests near Hatchobori Station. While climbing the stairs, two people were coming down. Inside the cafe, there were four groups of customers, each enjoying pudding or scones. Muffins were sold out, so I chose scones since that was my mood, opting for whole wheat with homemade jam on top. The whole wheat scone had a smooth texture, not too heavy, and I like it because it's good for the body. It was crispy and satisfying, not too big but enough to fill a small hunger. The coffee was not as strong as the staff described, but it had a good aftertaste.

After finishing work, I took a break at this quaint café located on the second floor of a run-down building near Hatchobori Station. Most of the food menu was sold out, so I just ordered the "Chocolat Blend" for ¥580. Although small, the cozy atmosphere of the café made me feel relaxed as I enjoyed my coffee.

I had Ethiopian coffee and a strawberry muffin. The menu didn't have light roast Ethiopian coffee listed, so I ordered a dark roast, but the fruity sweetness typical of Ethiopian coffee was weak. I still prefer Ethiopian coffee in a light roast. There were about 4 types of muffins available, and I had the strawberry one. It had a homemade feel, not too sweet, and was delicious.

This time, I really wanted to buy muffins, so I arrived around noon on a weekday. It was still empty, and freshly baked muffins of all kinds were lined up. After 12 o'clock, customers started coming in one after another, and the seats were quickly filled up.
- Blue cheese cheesecake 650 yen: A rich and creamy baked cheesecake that I really like. The perfect amount of blue cheese is very delicious. The jam and black pepper are for flavor variation, and the black pepper was especially tasty! I wanted to eat more with it.
- Pudding (with ice cream) 700 yen: I wanted to eat the pudding again. This time with ice cream on top. Still delicious.
- Earl Grey (hot) 550 yen: You can drink plenty from the pot.
- Muffin Strawberry White Chocolate 420 yen: I took it out and ate it the next day. The moist dough with strawberries and sweet white chocolate is delicious. I also like the texture of the baked strawberries.
- Muffin Blueberry Cream Cheese 400 yen: I also ate this the next day. The blueberries are juicy and delicious! The cream cheese inside was also tasty.

Located at the corner of Irifune 1-chome intersection, as the name suggests, it is on the second floor. There are two seats at the counter facing the window, three seats at the counter facing the kitchen, and one large table. The Sakura Scone Sandwich (650 yen) and the Blend Coffee (550 yen) are no longer available this season. They are served from 3 p.m. Reservations can be made by phone. The homemade Sakura sweet bean paste and cream made with only Sakura petals are sandwiched between scones. The scones are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The harmony of the sticky Sakura sweet bean paste and smooth cream is delightful. The salted Sakura adds a salty accent. The restaurant was full at 4 p.m. on weekdays, with a wait of about 5 minutes to enter. Another party arrived soon after. By 4:30 p.m., there were empty seats. The pudding and scones were sold out by this time.

I saw the posts of someone I follow on Instagram and decided to try the cherry blossom scone sandwich and the strawberry scone sandwich at 2F coffee, as the cherry blossoms are almost at full bloom and soon to be gone. I ordered the cherry blossom scone sandwich (650 yen), the strawberry scone sandwich (650 yen), and this week's coffee (550 yen). I had always thought of Hatchobori as an office district, but I was surprised to find such a delicious cafe here. I arrived just in time for the 3 pm baking, and I was the first customer. Soon after, more customers arrived, and this small shop quickly filled up. It's a very popular spot! I couldn't decide between the cherry blossom scone sandwich and the strawberry scone sandwich, so I ended up ordering both on this day. I couldn't take them home, so I made sure to finish them there. The scones had a great crunchy texture and were delicious! The cherry blossom scone sandwich had homemade cherry blossom paste and cream inside. It was just in time before cherry blossom season ended, so I was glad I could try it. The strawberry scone sandwich had marinated fresh strawberries and mascarpone cream inside. It was a perfect combination. Both the cherry blossom and strawberry scone sandwiches were generously filled, allowing me to fully enjoy them. The cafe played slow jazz music, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. The staff were friendly and even chatted with me as I left, making me an instant fan of the place. I look forward to returning to try the scone sandwiches in different seasons. I had a delicious time on this day. Thank you for the meal.

It was my first visit at 2:00 PM on a regular day. The restaurant was about 40% full, so I was able to be seated without waiting. I ordered the following items (all prices include tax): - Muffin with sweet orange flavor? for 430 yen. It was reheated and served warm, which made it delicious! - Milk tea for 500 yen. It was served in a pot and I could have three cups! I love this kind of service. The interior of the restaurant is not very spacious, but all the small items are cute. It's a very nice cafe where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The choice of this building in Hatchobori is great! There is a time limit of one hour, but being able to relax so much for less than 1,000 yen makes me happy.
