Visited for lunch on a holiday. It had been a while since I dined in at the restaurant. It was full at 12 o'clock, but the turnover was fast and we were able to enter without much of a wait. You can customize the taste to your liking, so it's suitable for both children and adults. Ordered the following customized items: Ajitama Ramen for 910 yen, Shio Ramen for 850 yen, and the Hearty A Set for an additional 450 yen, which included 5 gyoza and half-fried rice with roast pork (large) for 600 yen. Everything was served within 10 minutes. It was my first time trying the Shio Ramen, and it was quite light. It had a lot of onions and green onions, so if you're not a fan, it's better to ask for less or to have them removed. The Kotteri Ramen was quite rich. It had a default amount of lard, but strangely, it was easy to eat. The roast pork was perfect as a snack. I prefer lean meat though. The gyoza was average, and the fried rice was slightly on the richer side. A restaurant that offers ramen that appeals to everyone.

When I'm out on sales calls, I often end up eating at restaurants with parking lots, which usually means chain restaurants like ramen or beef bowl places. I sometimes go to Ra Ra Tei, and I always end up ordering the white fish fry set. It's a shame I can't order extra pork fat anymore, but the ramen is consistently delicious! The staff at this Uzumasa store were incredibly friendly, especially the female staff members. I was in a bit of a hurry at the end, so I left right after paying, but I want to say "thank you for the meal" here.

There is a ramen shop called Chateraise near Arashiyama, with a spacious shared parking lot. I visited on a whim while stopping by Chateraise. I ordered: - Ajitama Ramen for ¥910 - Extra noodles for ¥110 - Fried rice set meal for ¥280 You can customize the firmness of the noodles and the amount of green onions to your liking. However, on the day I visited, I couldn't choose extra pork fat due to unstable supply. The soy sauce flavor is stronger compared to my favorite Kaikaraya, but the taste is decent. The fried rice was surprisingly tasty with a darker color.

After waiting for the opportunity to try it, I finally ordered the Mazesoba R (920 yen) and Aji Fry set meal (250 yen) that are available for sale after 3:00 PM. Unfortunately, I couldn't choose the large portion. The Mazesoba came with block chashu, fish powder, chopped green onions, thinly sliced bamboo shoots, and a raw egg yolk with garlic. When I mixed it and tasted it, I felt that it lacked a punch and was a bit underwhelming in flavor. Maybe a bit more spiciness or flavor would be better. The Aji Fry was nothing special, just average. Next time I order Mazesoba, I will try something different.

Director Shinichi Fujisaki of BODYPITKYOTO here. A recommended dish by a big fan of Koraitei, "Pork Kimchi"! They said it has a rich flavor. Highly recommended, so I decided to try the Pork Kimchi right away! I was also a fan of Koraitei, but I never knew they had Pork Kimchi. Regret being a casual fan. When I listened closely, many people were also ordering something called "Pork Shabu". I didn't see it on the menu. Is it a secret menu item? Mystery upon mystery... I'll try ordering it next time!! It was delicious. Thank you very much.

We went out and the children got hungry, so we drove around Marutamachi Street looking for a restaurant. We found Kikitei and decided to visit since we have been to their other branches before and knew it would be a safe choice. It was Saturday lunchtime and there was a bit of a wait, but we were soon seated in a raised tatami area. As expected, the food was delicious and would be enjoyed by everyone. What stood out was how friendly the staff were towards families with children. They had a special menu for kids and even a baby bed in the restroom (which is rare in this type of restaurant). It was clear that they were using the old building space well. We had a very pleasant family lunch experience.

Today, I visited Renge-ji Temple on Gochi-san and then stopped by this popular restaurant. It was crowded with customers, showing how popular it is. I ordered fried horse mackerel, my usual char siu ramen with wonton topping. The char siu had a lot of fat, which made it the best.

I didn't know that Lai Lai Tei had Tianjin rice. It was very delicious. The eggs were thick and slightly firm. It was a set with ramen, so it was a bit small, but it was satisfying. I might order it again next time.

Today's dinner was at RaRaTei, where I had wonton with char siu topping. It came with fried rice and fried chicken as a set. I really wanted to have mixed noodles, but unfortunately they were sold out. I will look forward to trying it next time. Thank you for the meal.

During my lunch break, I really felt like having ramen, so I went to Uzumasa. I ordered the wonton noodles with extra char siu at Ra Ra Tei. Of course, I got the large size. I also got extra rice. Lately, my speed at eating ramen has been slowing down. Maybe once you're over 40, your appetite starts to decrease... I wanted to have some fried chicken too, but I had to give up on that (laughs).

It's been a while since I visited Rairaitei. I wanted to eat a lot, so I ordered a hearty set meal. If I had gotten the large size, my stomach would have exploded. Maybe it's my age (laughs). I added extra noodles, chashu, and wontons to my ramen. I also had gyoza and fried rice. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I received a set of fried liver for the first time. It was crispy and delicious. The kimchi fried rice was also excellent. The dumplings were as delicious as ever. And the ramen was perfect as always. It was a delicious dinner today too.

I went there the day before, not knowing it was a day off and it was pitch dark. I went back for revenge two days in a row. The ramen was delicious as always. I tried the wonton noodles for the first time. It was full of wontons and very delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I visited around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Since it was past lunchtime, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm. I checked the menu and ordered ramen (700 yen) with extra noodles (130 yen), extra pork fat, and lots of chopped green onions. I also ordered the fried beef liver set meal (330 yen). Even though it was not busy, the service was extremely fast. The ramen was the usual classic style, with slightly thicker slices of pork. The fried beef liver was lightly fried, giving it a soft texture that allowed you to taste the liver.

After work, I stopped by before taking my friend home! I ordered the B set meal, which was a hearty meal with special ramen, fried rice, and fried chicken! My friend had the croquette set meal, and the corn croquette was delicious! The special ramen had kimchi in it and was tasty!

Visited before 2:00 PM. Had 30% rich and thick ramen for ¥690 + tax and hearty Set A for ¥370 + tax with fried rice and dumplings. It was a late lunch during a cycling trip. It had been a while since I last visited RaRaTei, which I used to frequent when I worked in Kyoto. I ordered the rich and thick ramen that I liked. I was very hungry, so I also added the fried rice and dumplings set. As a result, my stomach was full and satisfied. Energy fully charged. Thank you for the meal!

Let's finish the last day of the year with my favorite Kyoto ramen for lunch! When we arrived at 1:40 PM, there were four groups of customers waiting outside before us. It was a bit late, but we decided to wait in the car due to the cold weather. We were given the menu to take our time to choose. My wife, sister-in-law, and I waited inside the restaurant. Once we made our choices, we sent them via LINE. I really wanted to have fried rice, so I decided on the fried rice set! While waiting in the car, we watched Detective Night Scoop. This show was popular during my university days and it's still going strong! It's a bit silly but entertaining (laughs). After waiting for 20 minutes, my wife called us via LINE and we all went inside. There were still many customers waiting outside. It's a popular place! Just as we sat down, our ramen was served. Perfect timing! I like my ramen with extra green onions and firm noodles, but I forgot to mention it this time (＞＜). It's a bit softer than I prefer, but still delicious! I always end up with extra green onions because my wife and daughter put them in my bowl without asking, so naturally, I end up with a lot of green onions (laughs). Then came the fried rice. It was so tasty! I think the deliciousness can be conveyed just by looking at the photo. Also, they offer unlimited pickled plums here, which is great for someone like me who loves pickled plums. The staff here is so lively and energetic! I was able to finish the last lunch of the year happily and satisfied. It was a great meal, thank you!

Today I had work in Kyoto again. For lunch, I visited the restaurant "Rairai-tei Uzumasa Store". Rairai-tei is a ramen restaurant originating from Kyoto, with many branches in the Kansai region. The image of the store is typically yellow, but in Kyoto, the original store is cream-colored. The staff at this store, like at other Rairai-tei locations, were all energetic. I ordered my usual favorite, the "White Fish Fry Set", which was as satisfying in both portion size and taste as always. After a hearty lunch, I am ready to tackle my afternoon work. Visited on a rainy night on September 26, 2018, around 10 PM. It was dark and pouring rain. Surprisingly, there were no cars in the parking lot, but I saw customers inside eating, so I went in. I ordered a rich broth, regular noodles, firm texture, strong flavor, extra green onions, and fatty chashu. The taste was different from the original Shiga branch, more like Kyoto-style chicken and back fat. Among chain ramen shops, I prefer another one, but this one wasn't bad. The parking lot was spacious!

When I returned to Kyoto, I went to Raitei instead of Rairaitei today. As always, the food was reliably delicious.
