On the first day of Golden Week, due to the unfamiliar desk work, my shoulders and lower back were in quite a bad condition... I thought I'd like to relax by soaking in a hot spring, so I searched for a place nearby where I could have a meal and go to the hot spring. That's when I found this place, which also has accommodation facilities and a bowling alley. Since I live in Kyoto and had never been there before, I decided to give it a try. The parking lot offers 2 hours free for restaurant use and an additional 2 hours free for hot spring use. The meals are served in a separate building called "Zashiki," so I stopped by there first. They had a relaxation plan for 2,150 yen per person, which includes hot spring and meal. I paid for the plan and was asked which I would like to do first, so I chose the hot spring. I was given a ticket for the hot spring and asked for a reservation time for the meal. The hot spring is located on the 1st floor, with the bowling alley on the upper floor. You can also have a meal at the snack corner. There is also a souvenir shop. The hot spring facilities include a medium bath, jacuzzi, standing bath (jet bath), sitting bath (jet bath), lying bath, sauna, and open-air bath. The greenery around was beautiful. The hot spring water was slightly slippery but had a nice feel to it. After soaking in the hot spring, I felt like having soft-serve ice cream, so I got a vanilla cone for 260 yen. The snack corner has both tatami and table seating, with a good amount of seating available. The soft-serve ice cream was decently delicious, with a good milky flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. They were selling locally grown bamboo shoots at a reasonable price, so I bought some immediately. On weekends, the entrance fee is 1,000 yen, but they also offer a great value set of tsukemen and grilled rice balls for 1,290 yen. Overall, it was quite enjoyable, and I think I will visit again.
