On the way to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, there is a stylish café on the bustling Kiyomizu Road, frequented by foreigners and school trip students. I visited because I heard that the barista here won first place in a national competition. The interior has a strong traditional Japanese atmosphere that fits well with Kyoto. It seems that the lattes are popular here. I decided to try changing the milk to pistachio milk. When I took a sip, the richness was incomparable to regular milk, and I could taste the pistachio flavor. I also enjoyed the bitterness of the espresso, making the taste and atmosphere perfect. I visited around 3 PM on Saturday. There were many tourists around, probably because Kiyomizu Temple is nearby. The cafe is a bit hidden in a narrow alley, and it was quite crowded. The cafe was cute and the food was delicious, but I wish the space was a bit bigger and there were more seats available.
