I saw this restaurant on SNS and was interested in it. They served sweet potato chips as an appetizer, which were crispy and delicious. Everything I tried was delicious, but the beef rib was particularly amazing. I can't quite describe it with my limited vocabulary. I would like to try other meats as well.

A restaurant that offers charcoal-grilled wagyu skewers and vegetables using Binchotan charcoal, which is not common in Kyoto. The sophisticated and adult atmosphere inside the restaurant, surrounded by a fragrant aroma. The grilling of the Binchotan charcoal ingredients is excellent, especially the tongue is impressive. I wanted to go after seeing the review of Mairebi-sama, and finally I was able to go. There were times when it was quite crowded, so. However, while there are more fashionable shops in Nishin, this one is also stylish. It doesn't feel like a charcoal-grilled restaurant, it's somehow stylish. I was a little hesitant about going in alone, but it was totally fine haha. I sat at the counter and ordered a draft beer (550 yen). Next, I ordered almond potato salad (450 yen), seared beef tongue (900 yen), and boiled hoso with ponzu sauce (650 yen). The boiled hoso with ponzu sauce was soft but full of flavor, with no unpleasant smell. It must be thanks to the skillful pre-processing. As for the almond potato salad, the taste was really good! Personally, I was a little disappointed that it was mashed, but it was good as a side dish. I hope they also make a chunky type. The beef tongue was perfectly cooked with a sweet taste. I liked it best with wasabi and salt. I had a sweet potato shochu on the rocks (500 yen). I also ordered additional items like ichibo (500 yen), harami (350 yen), and akasen (300 yen). The grilling was perfect and delicious. I thought the master was really good at judging the heat. Above all, they served the dishes at the right timing while watching the speed at which we were eating. I was happy with their subtle consideration. There were many regular customers, so I couldn't talk to them, but I would like to chat a little next time. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I recently visited a popular restaurant in Nishiin, and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was chic and calming, and the chef was friendly and easy to talk to. This is my first visit to "Sumi no Kuchi" that I wanted to go to. First, I tried the almond potato salad. It was my first time trying a sweet potato salad made with sweet potatoes. - Quail thigh meat tempura This is one of the specialty dishes from Hunter in Goshominami. It looks like fried chicken wings, but when you squeeze some sudachi on it, it has a slightly finer taste than regular chicken wings, which I liked. - Minnow and urute tempura Urute is the cartilage in the throat, so its crunchy texture is nice. Minnow is relatively easy to eat among hormone ingredients, so this combination of tempura is good. - Harami skewers Harami is a favorite cut for me in yakiniku, and when it's skewered with grain mustard on top, it tastes even better. - Angus beef lamp skewers Lamp meat is a well-known delicious cut, and the mayonnaise-based sauce underneath is a nice touch. - Urute skewers This time, urute is skewered. The crunchy texture remains the same, but you can enjoy a different deliciousness from tempura. - Akasen skewers These are skewered red snapper. It was my first time seeing red snapper skewered, and when it arrived, it was cut quite large, which was strange because I had only seen thinly sliced ones before. When I tried it, it tasted more like meat than offal and was just delicious. I really liked this. - Kachokabaro (grilled cheese) Grilling it gives it a mochi-like texture and enhances the flavor, making it a perfect match for wine. - Torikara Nanban Finally, I ended with Torikara Nanban. It was delicious with the homemade tartar sauce. The menu was varied and enjoyable, making it a great restaurant.
