At my house, we often go to this shop for special occasions. The manager and staff are friendly, with attentive service that makes you feel good. The best part here is the crispy grilled skin! I could eat as many as I want because it is perfectly grilled. They also have other menu items like "kokoro nokori" and "aburami" at the right timing. In addition to yakitori, they offer a variety of kushikatsu and other dishes. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Located just a 3-minute walk from Ono Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway, this restaurant has a parking lot. The exterior looks like any typical izakaya. Inside, the atmosphere is cozy with a wood-based design, featuring a counter and three tables. The restaurant is bustling as usual today, perhaps due to its convenient location. I visited with friends tonight and we ordered individual items. With a glass of sweet potato shochu in hand, we enjoyed various yakitori skewers such as chicken heart, skin, and tsukune, all grilled over binchotan charcoal. The yakitori here has a crispy outer skin and juicy inside, offering a rich flavor with every bite. The kushikatsu, including pork, rice cake, and shishamo, had a crunchy coating that didn't leave us feeling heavy. Each skewer costs just around 100 yen, making it affordable to eat to our heart's content without exceeding 4000 yen. The delicious food made our conversation lively and enjoyable. The staff was attentive, making it a place we would want to visit again.

Ono Station on the Tozai Subway Line is just a short walk from our restaurant. Ono Station is the third station from Yamashina Station. We have a parking lot. On this day, we used the restaurant for a drinking party with colleagues. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are like a typical izakaya. It is a small restaurant with counter seats and table seats. The menu is orthodox, with a focus on yakitori and also offers delicious kushikatsu. Each skewer is a little over 100 yen and is tasty. In particular, the rare part connecting the heart and liver, the aburami that resembles bonjiri, and the crispy skin were delicious. Finally, we ended with a chicken rice bowl. You can eat and drink freely without worrying about your wallet. It's perfect for casual dining.

An izakaya located in a residential area, with yakitori and kushikatsu as the main dishes. It seems to be popular among locals. The atmosphere is very homey, thanks to the friendly manager. The menu offers a variety of grilled, skewered, and fried dishes, making it hard to choose. However, there is no standout specialty dish that stands out as a must-try. It's not bad by any means, but if they had a signature dish like fresh sashimi, I would definitely want to visit again. Overall, it's a nice place with a welcoming vibe.

This is a shop located in a residential area towards Zuishin-in from Ono Station. It is easily recognizable as it faces the street, and there are several parking spaces (about 6) available across the street, which is convenient. The shop has around 10 counter seats and 3 table seats, so it is not very spacious. The atmosphere is calm with a lot of wood accents, but the staff are all very energetic and friendly. When I visited around 6 pm, the shop was still quite empty. The dishes are all delicious without any mistakes, but they are all on the smaller side in terms of portion size. The prices are reasonable, and the orders come out quickly, so it's good to order more depending on your appetite. The alcohol is also reasonably priced, which is nice, but the selection is limited, which is a bit disappointing. I felt that if they put more effort into the drinkware, the atmosphere could be even more enjoyable.

The restaurant offers delicious skewers, especially the small-sized meat skewers, where you can eat as many as you want. I usually order around 30 skewers with leeks in between. The yakitori and other dishes are also tasty. I recommend ordering a mountain of leeks to enjoy. The staff, including the kind owner and friendly part-timers, create a warm atmosphere. It's a great place to enjoy yakitori.

As soon as you enter the shop, the energetic greeting of "Irasshaimase" will lift your spirits! Start by relaxing with a draft beer, appetizers, and your favorite yakitori. The carefully grilled chicken is delicious regardless of the season. I also order the salad where you can choose from two types of sauce! With the support of the handsome master who randomly dyes his hair brown and the always cheerful staff, the alcohol goes down smoothly. What sets this place apart is the Osaka-style kushikatsu, which you don't see much in Kyoto! It's also delicious! It's rare to find both yakitori and kushikatsu that are tasty! I always end up ordering the deep-fried cartilage as well, which comes with plenty of meat and has a satisfying texture. Although it's a different season now, be sure to try the grilled eggplant in the summer! The summer vegetables sourced by the master through his own unique channels are amazing! It's getting long, but if you want to feel energized, be sure to visit this place.

I usually go by taxi or train because I drink alcohol, but there seems to be a parking lot as well. It's about 5-6 minutes from Ono subway station. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively on weekends when it's crowded, but it's okay on other days. It's more of a place to go with friends or colleagues rather than family. Taste: Good Price: Very reasonable Service: Excellent They have both grilled skewers and fried skewers, so I always order both. I would definitely go back.
