I didn't have to pay anything thanks to the summer coupon I used. The food was served promptly. You mix the sesame oil and shiso yourself and then add the daikon oroshi. I tried it right away and honestly, seasonal limited editions can be hit or miss, but the combination of sesame miso and daikon oroshi made the flavor not too heavy without sauce, and it was quite delicious. These days, Gindaco seems to be the only choice for takoyaki.

I came to AEON Mall Kyoto for shopping. My husband wanted to go to AEON, so we ended up here... I got a little hungry, so I went to the food court. I had cheese takoyaki and okonomiyaki soba at Tsukiji Gindaco. I usually get them to go at the Gojo store, but eating them right away is three times more delicious. But... now I have some complaints about myself (laughs). While paying and eating, I thought about and realized a few things. There was an event ad saying double points, but what kind of points are they talking about? Does this place have a point card? (I didn't even think about it until later. Then I wondered, what are they?) They asked me if I had Rakuten points, but I thought it should be on some app, but I couldn't find it (cries). It was on the McDonald's app. I think there was a coupon on some app site, "Gurunavi" or "SmartNews," but I couldn't find it, then later I realized it was on "LINE" (cries). I thought Kyoto Aquarium wouldn't have a discount for annual pass holders since it's closed, but the guy next to me used his annual pass. (It was just my own assumption.) I haven't fully utilized the "deals" phrases from downloading at all. I just feel like I lost out (sigh). If I had used it properly, I could have gotten a free drink or 100 yen off takoyaki. AEON Mall Kyoto has changed hours and some stores are closed. Most specialty stores are open from 11:00 to 20:00 until the 15th. The supermarket is open from 9:00 to 22:00. The buffet at Kitayama Dining was closed. The amusement park and cinema had changed their closing times. It's best for those with clear purposes to check the website or app before going.

Located on the 4th floor of AEON Mall KYOTO, this restaurant can be found in the food court area. The food court is on the south side of the 4th floor, and the restaurant is situated towards the east side of the food court. The nearest station is Kyoto Station, which is served by JR, Kintetsu, and subway lines. However, there is a bit of a distance between the subway station and the mall. They offer takoyaki in 6-piece and 8-piece servings, available in flavors such as sauce, mentaiko, and teritama among others. They also have yakisoba, although it was sold out during the evening. For an additional 100 yen, you can upgrade your order to include a soft drink. They also serve beer. If you prefer, you can drink the complimentary water provided in paper cups within the food court. I ordered the "negi tako" (takoyaki with green onions) in a 6-piece serving along with oolong tea. The takoyaki was topped with finely chopped white onions and came with packets of grated radish and ponzu sauce on the side. You can dip the takoyaki in the sauce before eating. The takoyaki had a crispy outer layer while the inside was soft, making it suitable for eating slowly without it getting cold quickly. The crispy exterior also made it ideal for dipping in the sauce.

I ate eight of them and my stomach is full (≧▽≦) The outside was crispy and the inside was soft and delicious❣❣ But, it's not as good when it's not piping hot...^^;; Thank you for the meal (^人^)

The takoyaki and taiyaki were not hot at all, which was disappointing. However, the taste was delicious.

When you have a little hunger, the limited-time yuzu-flavored takoyaki is perfect~ It's really delicious!

I like eating takoyaki and often order it! Today, I ate meat but still felt unsatisfied, so I also ordered takoyaki. It was hot and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. I had imagined the octopus to be big, but it was actually very small, which was disappointing. I'm not sure if it's just the one I got or if the octopus itself is small. I prefer takoyaki with big octopus, so I felt really disappointed. I hope to be able to eat takoyaki with a big octopus again soon...
