I sometimes come to this building for bowling, and I have always been curious about this buffet. Recently, my child started playing baseball, so I have been visiting the batting center on the 4th floor more often, and finally (well, maybe that's an exaggeration) I had lunch here. I bought a meal ticket at the entrance ticket machine, received a tray at the reception, and now it's time to start. It was Sunday afternoon, but the spacious restaurant was not crowded at all. It is also a cafeteria for MK employees, so there were some drivers as well. With a plate in hand, I took a walk around first. Regardless of the genre, I was surprised by the variety of dishes. There was sushi, curry, udon, soba, and more for the main dishes. The side dishes were also plentiful. And when a dish ran out, new dishes kept coming out without interruption. As for the taste, each dish was carefully prepared and really delicious. I enjoyed various dishes until I was super full. I envy this kind of employee cafeteria so much! It costs 700 yen on weekdays and 1,000 yen on weekends and holidays, which I think is a reasonable price considering the current situation. By the way, the drink bar and ice cream bar are charged separately, but there are also petit cakes and chocolate fondue, so I was fine without them. It looks like I'll be going here frequently from now on!

Today, I went to MK Buffet Kamigamo in Kyoto for lunch. This buffet restaurant offers all-you-can-eat for 1 hour for only 700 yen. There were various side dishes available, and I was happy to see lots of vegetables. In addition to that, they also had fried chicken, smelt fry, french fries, German potatoes, fried dumplings, tempura of Koya tofu, curry, cold noodles, mixed rice, salad, and oranges. I left feeling very full. The menu changes daily, so I would like to go back again. The food was simply delicious. The dinner buffet starts from 5 pm. The parking is also free, so I recommend everyone to give it a try! ☺️

I went to the buffet restaurant run by MK Taxi. It used to be only 500 yen on weekdays, but it has now increased to 700 yen. I had been wanting to go there once, so I went today when I had the chance. The food was reasonably delicious, and I was very satisfied. All-you-can-eat for 700 yen was a great value for money.

On weekends and holidays, for 900 yen, you can enjoy a slightly more luxurious fried food menu, but that's not what I'm looking for here. I prefer to stick to the usual affordable options that fill me up, so I'll focus on vegetable dishes. As for the taste... the fried food is served in small dishes and can be slightly enjoyed after heating in the microwave. There seems to be fewer salad options now, but at least there's curry which can be paired with a mysterious fried item to create a katsu curry. Although it disappeared quickly on this day, the ingredients similar to those in oyakodon were delicious.

This is a cafeteria in MK Bowl. The weekday buffet used to be ¥500, but it seems like they have raised the price to ¥600. There is a wide variety of side dishes, and in addition to white rice, there is also mixed rice and soba noodles. I know I shouldn't have more because I'm over 50, but I always go for seconds with the curry. Thank you for the meal.

Viking Kamigamo Lunch Buffet for 600 yen is the best value for money! Regardless of the taste, you will definitely be satisfied with the amount of food. If only it was closer to where I live, it would be even better! Nowadays, 600 yen including tax is unbelievable! If you are in Kyoto for sightseeing, be sure to visit this place!

There was a super cheap buffet in Mukashika. I remember coming here 20-30 years ago in my younger days and being able to eat for just one coin (500 yen). I had some errands nearby and decided to visit on my way back. Even though prices may have gone up a bit, I was still excited thinking it would be a good deal. However, I was shocked when I saw the ticket machine at the entrance. On weekends and holidays, it costs 900 yen per person! I hesitated for a moment, but then thought it was still a good deal! Since I was already there, I decided to eat after a long time. The restaurant was very spacious, quite different from the past. In the end, I couldn't stop myself from eating a lot to make it worth the money. The taste was decent. Despite the restaurant being full of customers, the dishes were promptly replenished and there was a wide variety, so there was no fighting over food. There is a time limit, but it was not a problem. It was crowded with families on holidays. I left satisfied and full. Thank you very much.

I don't have any photos from 30 years ago, but when I was a student at Kyoto Sangyo University, I was very grateful for the buffet. I think it was around 400 yen at the time, and when I was running out of money, I would skip lunch for about three days and go to MK to eat until I was surprisingly full. I confess now that I used to sneak food into my down jacket with a plastic bag and take it home. I don't remember the exact dates of my visits.

There is a budget buffet restaurant in Kamigamo, Kyoto. It is located on the first floor of a large building, a little north of the famous Kamigamo Shrine along the Kamo River. Originally a staff cafeteria for MK Taxi, it is well-known locally and has been featured on TV multiple times. The prices are very cheap, so it was packed. There are various side dishes available, and considering the price, there is a good variety. It may be crowded during lunch hours.

Located along the east bank of the Kamogawa River in Kyoto, you will find a buffet restaurant belonging to the MK Group. They offer a wide variety of dishes including fried foods, rice dishes, curry, soba noodles, and more from Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines. They also have a drink bar, ice cream bar, and alcoholic beverages available. The restaurant also has MK Bowls and a grassy BBQ area, making it a popular entertainment spot for locals and university students from nearby universities such as Seika University, Kyoto Sangyo University, Bukkyo University, Ritsumeikan University, and Kyoto Institute of Technology. It's a great place for moms with young children as well.

The restaurant offered a higher level of cuisine on weekends and holidays, including bread, sushi, and grilled fish. The sushi selection included shrimp, salmon, inari, chirashi, and natto gunkan sushi, but the rice was packed too tightly. The sushi disappeared quickly, leaving only inari sushi. The food was not bad, but it was not particularly delicious either. Despite the price increase, the buffet was still affordable at 900 yen, but the promised higher level of cuisine was not clearly evident. I don't feel inclined to go back multiple times.

I went on a day with heavy rain like a sudden downpour. The parking lot was wet, and inside the building, there was a large room with tables and chairs tightly packed together. The food was mainly side dishes, nothing particularly outstanding, but it was decent. The price was around 500 yen at the time, and the cost performance was great. The taste was not amazing, but it was satisfying. I recommend it.

It's been a while since I last visited. The prices have gone up from 500 yen to 700 yen, but if you want to eat a lot for cheap, then it's a yes! If you want to eat delicious food, then it's a no! If you're short on money, then it's a yes! If you have extra money, then it's a no!

The curry and fried egg, which were not really to my liking, were surprisingly delicious. It seems like the number of dishes has decreased in these times.

Today, I enjoyed a dish similar to chicken thigh bandit-style, maybe because it's Christmas. It was delicious and satisfying! ✨‼️

If you plan to eat vegetables, it might be forgivable, but the fried food is extremely bad.
