In Kyoto, there is a noodle and rice bowl restaurant called Menyoshi located in Chayama. I visited shortly after the opening on Tuesday around 11 am, and all the tables were full so I was seated in a small raised seating area in the back. It seems like regular customers were waiting for the opening. I ordered the Torinamba Soba and mixed rice, which was referred to as the "Torinamba set meal." The Torinamba had a consistent taste reminiscent of a Showa-era diner, with richly flavored chicken skin. The mixed rice was heavy and voluminous, filled with pieces of fried food, burdock, mushrooms, and other ingredients.

Kyoto is a noodle and rice bowl restaurant located a short walk from Eizan Chayama Station. The entrance is narrow, but the restaurant is surprisingly spacious inside, like a cozy eel's sleeping spot. I ordered the pork cutlet rice bowl, and although I was told it would take a little time, it arrived promptly. The generous portion of pork cutlet was tender and delicious, almost overflowing from the bowl. It came with miso soup and pickles, which were a nice touch. The rice was also tasty. I finished every last bite.

I was checking out the review from my reviewer tokarico♪ Thank you as always♡ I had lunch here today♪ The restaurant had only one group of customers, so I was able to get a seat⤴ The staff mentioned that they only have one serving of mixed grain rice... so I asked for one with mixed grain rice and one with white rice. I ordered the fried curry udon and the meat curry udon. The portion size was good⤴ It looked delicious♡ (#^^#) It had just the right amount of spiciness and was tasty⤴ The mixed grain rice had a nice flavor of burdock and was delicious♪ Thank you for the meal (^人^)
