Tora Tora is a restaurant located between Kintetsu's "Fushimi" station and Keihan's "Sumizome" station. It is easy to miss because it is located under the road where Route 24 passes overhead. The restaurant is on the second floor of a building that looks like a motorcycle shop, with a menu displayed at the bottom of the stairs. Inside, the atmosphere is surprisingly bright, with a large TV and several tables. I ordered the daily B lunch set for ¥750, which included stir-fried pork with bean paste, fried horse mackerel, miso soup, rice, and pickles. The food was decent, with the stir-fried dish being flavorful and the fried mackerel having a nice touch of seaweed. The service and atmosphere were better than expected, making it a good option for a solo lunch. Overall, I would rate it 3.5 stars out of 5.
