Kyoto's elegant journey, final chapter. Fourth bowl of Kyoto ramen. Seeking a place to sleep, I visited the Kairakuten Club Shijo Omiya Ekimae store. A 24-hour internet cafe with a pay-after-order system. There are various seating options, including regular chairs and fully reclining seats. There are two shower rooms and Wi-Fi available, making it a comfortable place to stay. There is also a secure women-only area for female guests. It was 5 am when I woke up and immediately ordered ramen. I had the "Beef and Fried Chicken Cold Noodles" for 637 yen, which included sweet beef, 3 pieces of fried chicken, chopped seaweed, thinly sliced cucumbers, and mustard. The soup had a tangy standard cold noodle flavor. The noodles had a strong chewy texture and a good mouthfeel. The portion was average. For dessert, I ordered the morning set available from 6 am, which included toast, margarine, fried potatoes, ketchup, and corn. It tasted just like a typical morning set. I slept soundly and would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

It costs 260 yen for the first 30 minutes, and then 80 yen for every additional 10 minutes. The reception is on the 5th floor. There is a 6-hour course for 1000 yen, which I think is a good deal. The seats are spacious compared to nearby rival stores. There are various food menu options, including morning and lunch menus. I was surprised to see a morning curry for 190 yen. They offer a "Magic TV" menu where you can watch TV. I was tempted by the all-you-can-eat soft-serve ice cream and ended up spending 900 yen for less than 2 hours. I had 4 servings of soft-serve ice cream and 3 drinks. I stayed longer than planned watching TV. Just a heads up, the soft-serve ice cream is all-you-can-eat, but it stops from 1 am to 5 am for maintenance. If you become a mobile member before your visit, the 350 yen admission fee will be waived.

I came to Shijo-Omiya by bus from Kyoto Station. When I got off the bus, I went to the original Gyoza no Ohsho store. Next, I went to the 4th floor of the building next door to relax in a massage chair at Kaikatsu CLUB for 3 hours for 1,100 yen. It was very relaxing. On the way back, I took the Hankyu train.
