Today, I visited Burdigala Café on the 5th floor. I waited in line for 15 minutes and was seated at a window L-shaped table. The view was beautiful, and the seat was very relaxing. The Lemon Squash I ordered was extremely sour, almost like it was made with 100% lemon fruit. It might be better to dilute it a bit and increase the quantity. They also added gum syrup. I had the Savarin Orange cake, which had a moist sponge soaked in liqueur syrup with orange fruit and cream inside. It was a satisfying treat. Thanks to the good seat I got this time, I was able to enjoy my tea leisurely while looking at the Yaesu Exit station scenery below. I would like to try other cakes as well. If I were to make a request, I wish there were more chairs for waiting in line since there are only 5 seats. Thank you for the meal.

However, some items like Savarin Orange and Gâteau Fraises were sold out, limiting the choices. I ordered the French Toast with Orange Suzette drink combo for ¥1,925 including tax. You can choose between coffee or tea for the drink, and I chose tea. The tea came in a pot, and they confirmed the timing to serve the French Toast, which took about 15 minutes. The French Toast arrived with a buttery aroma, and cutting into it revealed a fluffy and creamy texture that made me feel happy. The orange flavor was sweet with just the right amount of acidity, and the sauce was excellent. I scooped it all up with a spoon. While the Crêpe Suzette is also good, the French Toast Suzette is equally delicious. Despite the high price, the attentive service, the view from the window, and the blissful taste make me want to visit again. Next time, I might try the Savarin Orange, but I might end up getting the Orange Suzette again.

I arrived. The place had many seats and was quite bustling. Maybe I made the wrong choice... I ordered a yuzu mousse cake set (not sure of the official name from Burdigala's website or Instagram). I also ordered a hot coffee to drink. The cake set has arrived. Let's start with the coffee. Mmm, it's not too bitter and delicious. A soothing moment. Now, let's try the cake. Starting with the mousse on top. Wow, it's delicious! The acidity of the yuzu is good. As I continue eating, crunchy walnuts come out, and I feel like there's some liquor in it, but overall, it's just delicious in various ways. I have a strong sense of guilt about eating sweets due to significant weight gain after childbirth, but I feel healed from the bottom of my heart. I'm really glad I came to Burdigala today. It may not be suitable for those who want to spend time quietly, but there's no doubt that you can enjoy delicious tea and sweets.
