When I went to Hankyu Square in Roppongi, I felt a little hungry so I bought takoyaki at this place in the food court. I got a simple set of 8 takoyaki for 580 yen with mayonnaise, bonito flakes, and seaweed toppings. They were hot, crispy on the outside, and delicious. I especially liked the spacious, bright, and relaxing atmosphere of the food court here!

On this day, I went shopping at Rakuhoku Hankyu Square. We had a quick lunch at the food court. My wife chose the White Double Cheeseburger set at McDonald's, but I felt like having takoyaki, so I went for it here... As I looked around, I noticed they also had pork okonomiyaki. When did they start serving that? They also had modern-yaki. Since I felt like just takoyaki wouldn't be enough, I found a perfect set to order. I decided on the Modern-yaki set for 780 yen (excluding tax). They said it would take 7 to 8 minutes, so I waited a bit. The Modern-yaki set came with 4 pieces of takoyaki and a Modern-yaki. I prefer not to have mayonnaise on my okonomiyaki or takoyaki, so I ordered it without. When it was ready, I started eating... The Modern-yaki had pork in it. It was a small size with plenty of bonito flakes on top. It turned out quite fluffy and tasty. The takoyaki could have been a bit crispier... I prefer them crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. But this set was quite filling. The taste was decent, so it's a good choice for a quick lunch while shopping.

On December 6, 2019, a new Tsukiji Gindaco store opened on the 2nd floor of Rakuhoku Hankyu Square in Takano Nishibiracho, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto City. After visiting the special viewing of the former Mitsui family Shimogamo villa, praying at Kawai Shrine, and visiting the Kamigamo Shrine, also known as Shimogamo Shrine, I had coffee at Ranchos Kitchen in Rakuhoku Hankyu Square and had a meal. Then, I enjoyed a Doraemon Anywhere Soda at the Baskin-Robbins Hankyu Square store before coming to Tsukiji Gindaco. Although there is also a Tsukiji Gindaco in Okayama, I had never bought anything there before. But this time, I tried their oolong tea. I spent quite a bit of time at Rakuhoku Hankyu Square after walking around in the cold without eating breakfast or lunch. I ate until I was full, had a cup of oolong tea, and was able to relax.
