The toilet paper was left hanging loose and unattended, and the staff, who were chatting right next to the toilet, could have checked on it if they had the time. The cuisine was a mix of Japanese and Korean styles. The seafood in the Bossam Kimchi was delicious. Everything except the cold noodles was of high quality, so I would rate it 4 stars. However, due to the lack of personal service, I have to give it 2 stars, bringing my overall rating to 3 stars. It's a shame because the atmosphere and taste were good. This restaurant made me realize that service is just as important as the food.

The Tteokbokki was a bit different from before since they moved. The noodles for the finishing touch were also different. The soup was a clear broth! The Kimchi pancake was still delicious. The drink menu offers a variety of unique Korean options, so be prepared when ordering. Around 80% of the customers were foreigners, and the staff's English proficiency was impressive. Visited Lee Nam Ho in Kyoto Pontocho for the first time! I wish I had taken more photos because this is all I got, haha. Since it's a popular spot, I made a reservation before going. The atmosphere inside was very calm and relaxing, typical of Kyoto's Pontocho area. I heard that the chijimi is a must-try, so I ordered it! The batter was thick but fluffy and chewy, with plenty of ingredients inside, making it delicious. I will definitely go back for another leisurely meal! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I wanted to eat Korean food, but I was looking for a quiet place for a calm date rather than a place with loud Kpop music and silver tables. I found this place and made a reservation over the phone for the same day. Located in Pontocho, the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere, quiet and slightly dimly lit. The kimchi was not very spicy (which I prefer spicier), but it was easy to eat. The beef hot pot, japchae, and kimbap were all delicious. The service was polite, and when I asked about the dishes, they explained in detail. They even divided the japchae into individual portions, which was appreciated. However, one thing that bothered me was that the person serving the dishes had nail polish on. It may seem old-fashioned, but having nail polish in a food establishment is not a good impression.

Personally, I was not a fan of Korean cuisine and had some reservations, but a friend who loves Korean food visited Kyoto and we decided to try it out. To my surprise, the food was incredibly delicious! It was not as uniquely flavored as I had imagined, making it very easy to eat and not too "Korean" in taste. The dishes were served in beautiful tableware, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great, with excellent service. The staff seemed very experienced and well-trained. The customers seemed to be mostly in their 30s. I highly recommend visiting this shop at least once.

On this day, I had Bossam Kimchi, Seafood Pancake, Steamed Pork with White Kimchi, and Octopus Sashimi. The Bossam Kimchi was wrapped in Napa cabbage kimchi and filled with plenty of seafood and even apple slices. It was my first time trying it, and it was delicious. The Seafood Pancake was also consistently delicious. I think the taste of their pancake is unbeatable. The crispy yet fluffy texture is amazing. It's really delicious.

In Kyoto's Pontocho, there is a Korean restaurant called "Lee Nam Ho" that is perfect for girls' night out, dates, and business entertainment. The atmosphere, interior, and lighting of the restaurant were all very nice. The first floor has counter seats surrounding the kitchen, while the second floor has plenty of table seats with a view of the Kamo River in Kyoto. There are also side-by-side couple seats available. The menu is full of Korean dishes and delicious meat dishes. The prices are quite reasonable, making it highly recommended. The dishes we tried included Wagyu beef bulgogi hot pot, Wagyu beef tartare, grilled hormone skewers, Omi beef harami tataki, seasonal chijimi (this time with oysters), premium Omi beef harami, kimchi, steamed pork and kimchi, and top-quality mino sashimi.

There is a stylish Korean restaurant in Kiyamachi, and the food was delicious. The highlight was the savory and tasty Chijimi, which was so good that I forgot to take a photo of it. It was the best Chijimi I've ever had. I would love to go back again to satisfy my craving for Chijimi.

Glass of beer 770 yen, Makgeolli 1,320 yen, glass of wine 1,320 yen, Napa cabbage kimchi 440 yen, scallion pancake 1,320 yen, stir-fried rice cakes and vegetables 1,050 yen, 120g of lean meat 3,900 yen. Service charge 10%, total around 10,000 yen for two people. Complimentary appetizer was Korean seaweed rice porridge. The scallion pancake was fluffy and flavorful as before. The stir-fried rice cakes and vegetables were delicious and sure to be popular with women. The lean meat was from Shinshu Premium, and it was exciting to have it grilled in front of us.

The exterior of the restaurant is a calm Japanese style, with no menu outside, making it feel somewhat upscale. However, if you don't order Wagyu beef dishes, you can enjoy 1-2 drinks for around 10,000 yen for 2 people. The interior has a counter surrounding the cooking area, giving it a traditional Japanese restaurant or sushi bar atmosphere. The decor is simple and understated, creating a serene and uncluttered space. [Food Received] ★Ginger Rice Porridge (Appetizer) Surprisingly, rice porridge was served as an appetizer. The refreshing aroma of ginger and gentle dashi stimulate the stomach, preparing it for the upcoming meal. ★Li Family Kimchi Assortment Various kimchi varieties are served in a basket. Made with ingredients like Chinese cabbage, radish, garlic sprouts, squid, carrots, and cucumbers, the flavors are not overly sweet but refreshing. ★Seafood Pancake Highly recommended. The thick and chewy batter is packed with seafood ingredients like plump shrimp, served on a sizzling hot plate and topped with sweet and spicy Korean miso. ★Wagyu Beef Tartare Beautifully marbled beef tartare made with thigh meat. ★Raw Beef Intestines Carefully prepared raw beef intestines served with a sweet and savory miso for a crunchy texture. ★Handmade Cold Noodles Handmade cold noodles made to order. [Overall Impression] The restaurant seems to have its main branch in Daikanyama, Tokyo, and the refined atmosphere inside reflects that. The dishes, including the presentation, are meticulously crafted. This Korean restaurant in Pontocho is a rare find, and I highly recommend trying the seafood pancake and Bokseun Dogason Makgeolli.
