In May, the fair noodle was Ma Po Tofu noodle. The location of the Eiraku Yamashina Ekimae store is good, but it is very small. I ordered and ate it right away. Personally, despite the advertising, it was far from "spicy and delicious", and I couldn't even taste the flavor of Sichuan pepper, so I added chili oil. There was plenty of ground meat in it.

It is a very narrow and long shop. There is only a counter. It is a small shop, but the menu that comes out is the usual menu of Osho. The gyoza is the typical Osho gyoza that can be found anywhere. It is delicious in a normal way. I stop by when I want to have a lot of fun in front of the station.

[Date] January 3, 2020 (Friday) 10:15 PM [Food Rating] 3.04 [Waiting Time] Full, 5-minute wait outside [Customer Service] Good [Would Visit Again] Maybe [Cashless Payment] Not available The ramen at Hikosaku has a distinct taste, but the restaurant is really cramped. The counter seating is so tight that crossing your legs is impossible. The space between seats is also narrower than usual. [Items Ordered] - Gyoza: A classic! Good - Mapo Tofu (JSM): The seasoning was more like yakiniku sauce and it was spicy. Good - Fried Chicken (JSM): Crispy and hot! Perfect as a snack [Bill] Gyoza (6 pieces) x 2 (1 serving free coupon): 220 yen Mapo Tofu (JSM): 277 yen Fried Chicken (JSM): 300 yen Draft Beer (medium) x 2: 380 yen each

During the cold season, I saw an advertisement for five-ingredient ankake ramen and decided to try it out. I ordered the Five-Ingredient Ankake Ramen Fair Set (880 yen excluding tax). The five-ingredient ankake ramen was delicious with grated ginger in a hot ankake sauce. It had a savory flavor with stir-fried vegetables like cabbage, carrots, onions, and large shiitake mushrooms. It was packed with vegetables and ingredients like shrimp, pork, and quail eggs, giving it a healthy feel. The set came with three gyoza, which was a great deal. I enjoyed the meal very much and left with a full stomach!

After my hospital examination, I stopped by this place. Gyoza no Osho is my soul food. It's not Osaka Ohsho, it's Gyoza no Osho! Thanks to Osho, I feel like I've grown over 180cm tall (lol). This particular branch is rare among Osho restaurants as it only has a counter. It seems to be thriving with takeout orders. It's a shop with a decent history. Today, I was planning to have the Warm Tantanmen but ended up choosing the classic Gyoza set meal... a perfect choice. I usually get takeout, but eating gyoza at the store where the skin is crispy and the meat juice overflows is the best. If possible, it would be helpful to increase the number of seats, but I will use the Higashino branch at that time! Thank you for the meal as always!

I visited the Osho Yamashina Ekimae store for dinner. Today, I ordered gyoza, rich ramen, and stir-fried leek and liver, which all seemed like dishes that would boost my energy. The food was reliably delicious as always. It was satisfying and full of flavor. I enjoyed a full meal and feel energized now.

In this scorching hot weather, I went to Osho to replenish my stamina. I ordered the Stir-Fried Leek and Liver (518 yen tax included) and the Rich Ramen (626 yen tax included). The Stir-Fried Leek and Liver dish was packed with fresh leeks and tender liver, giving me a real stamina boost. The Rich Ramen came with grated garlic on top, also packed with stamina. It was delicious!

I visited Oushou-san, a small counter-only restaurant in front of Yamashina Station. I ordered the mini vegetable ramen and half fried rice for lunch. They mentioned that the ramen could be upgraded to a regular size for free, so I went for that option. I also ordered some dumplings and the intriguing cucumber pickles. The cucumber pickles were incredibly delicious, making me crave a beer, but I had to resist since I was working. The ramen, fried rice, and dumplings were all tasty as usual, and I was satisfied with my meal. That cucumber pickles were the best part! I wish they would serve it at all their locations. Thank you for the meal.

I think it is one of the smallest Chinese restaurants. It has only about 10 counter seats. Today's lunch special was soy sauce ramen and mini fried rice. It was exactly the same as yesterday's lunch. You can get a free extra serving of noodles. The total price was 650 yen including tax. The fried rice arrived first. It was fried quickly with oil and beaten eggs after cooking the rice with soy sauce and mirin. The difference in skill was clear, but it was a bit greasy. Then came the ramen. Even though I kept eating, it felt like it never decreased because it was a large serving. The only toppings were green onions and bean sprouts. Maybe I got tired of the taste, as I didn't feel like the ramen was getting any smaller. It's convenient being close to the station, so it might be good for a quick meal. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by as usual after work. Honestly, it's small and not recommended for groups, but they have just the right size dishes like mapo tofu, fried rice, dumplings, and two draft beers for 2,000 yen. You can try various dishes, so I use it regularly! It's great for those looking for a nearby, inexpensive place for a casual drink alone.

I preferred the regular yakisoba over the yakisoba with sauce that was offered at the fair (lol)

As soon as I entered the store, it smelled like a toilet. I wondered if it was because the toilet was at the back of the counter. I didn't feel like eating at all. The dumplings tasted a bit bland compared to other restaurants.

The restaurant is small. The taste is still good like always at Osho.

The building had a very unique shape, being long and narrow with no depth, resulting in a counter seating only restaurant. As you enter, the kitchen and takeout window are on the right, and the restroom is at the left end. It's quite cramped. A friend and I popped in for a meal that could be enjoyed both during the day and at night. Let's start with some beer. Asahi Super Dry costs ¥496 here at Osho. Cheers to Kyoto! Delicious! We ordered two servings of gyoza for ¥237 each, mapo tofu for ¥486, and chicken karaage for ¥540. The two of us were already full with just these dishes. These are Osho's signature dishes, but the taste can vary depending on the chef. It's understandable why there are many takeout customers, given the limited space of the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I had seen larger stores in Wakayama (Gyoza no Ohsho Koyasan-ji Temple store, Gyoza no Ohsho Kokutai-doro store?), but I didn't have the opportunity to visit this store until it was built, which I first learned was the main store in Yamashina in 2013. My first visit was in November 2012, I think. It was the discount coupon that I received that prompted me to try the sweet and sour pork for takeout. I thought the quality was quite good even when I took it home, so it turns out the store has a long history. It was around the time when Matsuya Yamashina store disappeared (※ temporarily), right? Since it was built, it has become a grateful place for takeout customers as well. On my birthday, which was just a coincidence in Kyoto's downtown area, I enjoyed a live show in a box after a long time, and since it was a one-drink system, I finally entered the store★ I had planned to come here from the beginning, but I thought the business hours might not work out, but it was open until midnight. From my review of Tenkaippin Minamiza-mae store, it seems that this is a place where you can enjoy ◆Fried Rice Set ¥889 (tax included) ⇒ an original set menu at Yamashina Ekimae store. "After drinking at 35 again, it was delicious!" The light soy sauce with bean sprouts did a good job. The noodles have a unique elasticity, and they go well with the bean sprouts. The fried rice at a nighttime ramen shop is so delicious, and the man next to me even ordered a large serving. It's pleasant to see the shape of this freshly made fried rice being squished. I finally realized that I was 35 years old (laughs). Before that, I had been tweeting in my personal diary, "I want to be 40 already," so I finally realized that I was 35 years old (laughs). Next time, I'm curious about the "Yuzu-flavored Gyoza Sauce." It seems that I made it just in time for the last order, I saw a customer being turned away. Just as I was talking about "best friends" during the live show, I was trying to catch up on the current situation with a friend from my hometown since high school (※ female) via email, but she said, "It's faster to think of my birthday as the autumn leaves." (laughs). Well, a ramen shop is not a place where you can celebrate. We are the same age, just two months apart. In our twenties, we took purikura photos with that joke, it reminded me of something. Even though we don't have a long-distance relationship, we are in Osaka (laughs・Return to my Hashigo Cafe review). It's about time she congratulated me, otherwise I'll be twisting my age. But because she's a female friend, she's probably overjoyed with just an email, while a couple before marriage might have a big fight over something like that.

Although there are many King Shokudo restaurants throughout Japan, this one seems to be the smallest! It's a King Shokudo, but there are no tables or chairs, only a counter with about 10 seats. The back side faces the aisle, so there may be some bumping into each other, but that's part of the charm! I heard they recently introduced gyoza without leeks for only 220 yen, which is impressively cheap. Since I'm here, I might as well order one more dish. Oh, they have a "Just Size Menu" with popular dishes in half portions for about half the price. I decided to go for the "Fried Noodles" for 334 yen, which is also very affordable. The staff referred to this menu as "Just Barry," which is a nice and easy-to-understand name. The gyoza without leeks was delicious, and the noodles were surprisingly good even without leeks. It may lack a little punch, but it's still tasty. The portion size was just right, not too much or too little. I guess King Shokudo is all about sharing a single serving. If you use the voucher, J.S.M. is truly a just size menu! In total, even with the consumption tax added, it only came to 597 yen. It's really cheap!
