Near my workplace, there is a cozy izakaya called "Tsuzuri Ainomachi" that we have used for staff gatherings a few times. Located on Manmachidori Gojoshita, on the first floor of an apartment building, the entrance has parking space for about 2 cars. This izakaya, or should I say Japanese dining, is known for its comfortable atmosphere. It seems welcoming even for women dining alone, as I often see solo female diners at the counter. We usually have around 8-15 people, and the sunken kotatsu-style tables can accommodate up to 20 people. This makes it a convenient choice for impromptu post-meeting gatherings. The menu mainly features seasonal vegetables and fish, but also offers a variety of meat and fried dishes for those craving something heartier. We appreciate having a good selection of dishes and drinks to choose from, as our group consists of people from various age groups. The warm hospitality of the husband and wife owners adds to the relaxing ambiance, striking the perfect balance between attentive and respectful service. It's a great place where tired salarymen can unwind and enjoy good food and company.

I stayed at a hotel near Karasuma Oike and was looking for a place to drink nearby. While exploring the area, I found a beautiful restaurant that was not very noticeable. I thought it was a Western-style restaurant, but when I went inside, it turned out to be a Japanese-style place with sunken kotatsu seating where you take off your shoes. However, when I peeked into the back of the restaurant, there was a bar-like counter with a Western feel. The menu had a wide variety of options, and everything I tried was delicious and satisfying. What surprised me the most was that when I ordered a draft beer, it came out in just 10 seconds - it was quite a mystery!

It's a great place for casual outings.

A favorite restaurant to visit with friends. The standout feature of this place is the taste - simply delicious! The presentation is also meticulous and beautiful. Fortunately, the restaurant doesn't have high ratings on Tabelog yet, so it's not difficult to make a reservation and you can go whenever you want. It's a place that makes going after work something to look forward to!
