Arrived a little before the opening on Saturday. Even though I arrived a bit early, the place was empty until I left, so it seems like there's no need to wait or line up even on weekends. I placed my order and paid at the counter on the first floor, then received my items and went up to the second floor to eat. After finishing my meal, I returned the tray to the first floor. This time, I ordered the following: - Matcha Latte (HOT) 650 yen - American Dog 550 yen The American Dog, a surprising combination of donut and sausage, had a delicious sweet and salty taste that was quite addictive. The donut itself had a chewy texture. The Matcha Latte was made by whisking matcha powder after ordering, and the latte art of a heart was beautiful. They have limited edition donuts according to the season, and it seems like there are slight differences from the donuts at the first store, loose kyoto, so it would be interesting to compare them.

"HOO, a place to take a break and relax in Kyoto. That's the concept! The fig and Japanese tea cream donuts are delicious here! The donuts have a crispy outer layer and a soft, fluffy texture inside, with the dough being amazing. The American dog has a juicy, thick sausage. I realized after eating the fig one that it seemed they forgot to put in the cream, as there was only jam inside. The atmosphere inside the shop is calm and relaxing, just like the concept suggests! I want to come back to Kyoto and try the cream donuts next time."

A must-visit shop for donut lovers. A place where you can relax with donuts and coffee. ● Fig donut for 500 yen ● Sausage donut for 550 yen Fluffy and juicy donuts! It's really to my liking. The dough is truly delicious!! The coffee is easy to drink without bitterness. The shop has a renovated old house vibe and a very calming atmosphere.

Walk west from Marutamachi Station on the subway. Visit HOO cafe. Inspired by someone's YouTube video. Try the donut topped with fig and a blend coffee. The donut is fluffy with a jam filling made of fig pulp. After finishing the coffee, the words "Have a wonderful day" at the bottom of the cup made me happy (laughs).

When my sister and I went out in the city and she wanted to go, we visited around 3 PM on a weekday. The atmosphere was nice, but it was a bit difficult to get there by car as it was supposed to be a second branch of some place. I had imagined delicious donuts, but the taste was like something I could have made myself - the oil taste was quite noticeable and there was a slight saltiness too. It seems like the classic donut from Mister Donut is the way to go. With only two donuts to judge, this taste was not cutting it. It may sound harsh, but honestly, it would have been better if we didn't eat there. Maybe people nowadays are more focused on the atmosphere and aesthetics rather than the taste of the food?

I finally got to go to the cafe I've been wanting to visit for a long time! It was around 10:05 AM, but there was already a line forming! The second floor seats could only fit about 16 people, I think. Luckily, I managed to find a spot and could relax there. The donuts with sausage inside were delicious! The plain one was crispy and I really liked it! If you don't like greasy food, it might be tough for you. The manager, I think, was multitasking at the register, preparing drinks, and was incredibly efficient. He wished me a "good day" as I left! It was a lovely cafe and I definitely want to go back again!

Here is a donut and coffee shop near Nijo Castle. This time, I got a custard donut and an American dog to go. The donuts seemed a bit small at first, but when I tried them, they were just right. The creamy custard and fluffy dough were delicious. I enjoyed it.

I went to "HOO," a popular donut shop in front of Kyoto's Nijo Castle.
They have:
- Custard donut for ¥350
- American dog for ¥550
- Guatemala iced coffee for ¥550
The donuts were delicious as always! They are a bit small and fluffy, so you can easily eat 2-3 of them. The American dog-style donut with a large sausage inside was satisfying and had a tasty sweet and salty flavor. It's a place where you can take a break and relax with a "HOO." I visited the second store of my favorite @loosekyoto.

I ordered a hojicha latte for ¥650, a lemonade soda for ¥650, a custard donut for ¥350, and a plain donut for ¥250 at a restaurant called loosekyoto. The donuts with a salty taste were amazing! However, the interior of the store is narrow and feels like a fall accident could happen, which is scary. The appeal of this store is that it is completely different in atmosphere from the affiliated store. The donuts are incredibly delicious!

I got takeout from a popular donut shop. I was lucky to go in without waiting during lunchtime on a weekday. I bought donuts and an American dog. The fluffy dough was delicious and I finished it in no time. It was so tasty! They also pay attention to their coffee, so I want to try buying a set next time.

I visited the restaurant around 10:20 am on Saturday, June 3, 2023, and was surprised to see that it was quite crowded. It was a Saturday morning. It seemed like there was a magazine interview going on, and the second floor, visible from below, had a fair number of customers. I bought Custard and Plain donuts. When I got home, I made some coffee and enjoyed them with my wife. The Custard donut was filled with cream, and it was delicious! It seems like the shop in Higashiyama was also popular, but this one is sure to become a hit. Having coffee and donuts in a machiya (traditional townhouse) setting is a great idea for tourists.

In front of Nijo Castle, along Marutamachi Street, near the Kyoto Prefectural Office, there is a new popular shop! It seems to be the second branch of a famous shop near Kiyomizudera Temple. I stumbled upon it while riding my bike and decided to try their top menu items, a cafe latte and a cream donut. The seating on the second floor was limited and it was full, but the staff didn't seem to check. I had to ask someone to make space for me and it was a bit awkward. The donut was delicious, with a unique taste. The cafe latte was comforting and good. I might opt for takeout next time.

I heard about a wonderful new shop and decided to visit right away. It's located near Nijo Castle, just off Horikawa Street on Takeyacho Street to the east. The shop is a renovated old house. On this day, I had a cream donut, a sausage donut, and a blend of iced coffee. The sausage donut was a bit expensive at 500 yen, but I still tried it. I sat upstairs, where the atmosphere felt like a renovated old house with exposed mud walls and original ceiling beams creating a loft-like feel. The cream donut was delicious, but the sausage donut was a bit greasy. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the store around 11 am on a weekday. There was one person ordering in front of me, but since it had just opened, I was able to order smoothly. I came for the custard donuts. They were small but not greasy, and the custard was delicious. The sausage was also really tasty, so I want to try both again. I enjoyed my meal on the second floor, and luckily found a seat as the seating was limited.

Custard donut for 350 yen, iced Americano for 550 yen at loos kyotoᐝ, the second store near Kiyomizu Temple. The donut has smooth custard cream filling and tastes delicious. It goes perfectly with the coffee. I've always wanted to visit this cafe and I was beyond satisfied. The interior is so stylish that I couldn't stop taking photos (laughs).

I forgot to mention that Simon & Garfunkel's music was playing from a record. It was nostalgic and moving. (laughs)

My friend who loves trying new openings brought me here. There's a bit of a line. The building itself looks kind of old-fashioned... but it's a cute shop. A lot of items were already sold out, but I got a custard cream donut. It's just delicious.
