Today, I visited the "Gyutan Keisuke Kyoto Ekimae" restaurant located in front of Kyoto Station for a company social gathering. It is very convenient, just a 1-minute walk from Kyoto Station. It was a luxurious experience to enjoy Sendai's Gyutan in Kyoto, a major tourist destination in Japan. We started with a pitcher of beer, which was very enjoyable. The first dish was the famous Gyutan, which was delicious and had a good portion size. Next, we had the Sendai specialty, Zunda Croquette, which was also very tasty. The course included various dishes such as appetizers, tofu from Kyoto, and Gyutan ham Caesar salad. The highlight was the Gyutan tail soup hot pot, which had amazing flavor. Overall, it was a great experience at Gyutan Keisuke Kyoto Ekimae. I highly recommend it for gatherings.

I went to this restaurant with the goal of finding a really cheap place. They are known for serving drinks at cost price. The prices were really low, with some drinks even less than 100 yen! They have a wide variety of drinks, so I think it's really good value for money. For food, we had mentaiko potato salad, pickled cucumber, grilled stingray fin as an appetizer, horse meat tartare, and grilled harami. We also had some fried potatoes. The food menu is not as cheap as the drinks, it's more like the typical cheap menu you find at izakayas.

I was looking for a specialty store for tongue dishes and stumbled upon this place. The food was decently delicious, but for those who drink a lot, it may not feel like a good deal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was not particularly clean, and the staff's service was average. Considering the relatively high prices, I don't think I will visit again.

Today, I had a drinking party with my junior high school classmates. We decided to meet at a izakaya near Kyoto Station, which was convenient for both of us. We chose a course meal with motsunabe (offal hot pot) and all-you-can-drink option. The cost was 3500 yen per person. The location was right next to Kyoto Station, so the area was crowded with people. When we entered the restaurant through the elevator, there was a strange smell. I asked the staff and found out that there was some accident in the banquet hall downstairs. We were guided to a different floor where there was no smell, and we sat down comfortably. The course dishes were served one after another. It was a great drinking party for two heavy drinkers, and I think the content of the course was satisfactory. Thank you for the meal.

After sightseeing, I made a reservation just in case as it was Friday. We were seated in a private room on the second floor. Although it was a private room, we could hear the conversation next door, so it wasn't completely private. Since it was our second stop, we didn't order much food and focused on Japanese sake. We started with a toast with beer. The appetizer was grilled stingray fin on a shichirin grill, which was irresistible for sake drinkers. Next, we moved on to Japanese sake. We tried Kotomachi from the sake brewery of Mr. Sasaki Kurano, which was delicious. The amberjack sashimi had some fat, but it still had a lingering smell, which didn't suit my taste. I waited for my sake for 30 minutes after ordering, so I had to ask for it again, which seemed to surprise the staff. Other than that, the service was normal.

After watching a soccer match in Kobe (Kobe vs Shonan), I quickly moved to Kyoto. I saw the light-up at Toji Temple and then decided to have a drink. Starting off with a standing bar called Tenku and Saka as the first stop, this place is the second stop. As the name "Genka Sakaba" suggests, the prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for people like me who only drink without eating much. I drank quite a bit, so I think I got my money's worth. Since I have an early start tomorrow, I'll call it a night in Kyoto after this.

Just a short walk from Kyoto Station, this restaurant is conveniently located right outside the Porta underground exit. With private rooms available, it's a great option for those looking for a more intimate dining experience. I ordered the popular beef tongue (1.5 servings for 1890 yen) and it was juicy and flavorful. The restaurant also offers other Sendai specialties, such as grilled ray fin and bamboo leaf-shaped fish cake. The hot dishes are cooked right at your table, adding to the experience. The drinks are reasonably priced, with Asahi Super Dry priced at 192 yen. I also tried the tuna rare cutlet, chicken karaage, fried potatoes, corn karaage, seafood yukhoe, dashimaki tamago, and cream cheese with smoked herring. Everything was delicious, but the chicken karaage and dashimaki tamago were particularly outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant for its tasty food and convenient location near the station.

It's also refreshing to eat. The charcoal-grilled beef tongue is a thick, juicy dish made with beef tongue from Sendai. And the premium fatty beef tongue... Only uses the fatty part, perfect with wasabi. The fish dishes are also delicious. The whole deep-fried fish (rockfish) is a specialty menu, hot and crispy with plenty of flavor. The alcohol is very cheap. Asahi beer is about $2, and sours are less than $1. This is dangerously easy to drink.

The special premium grilled beef tongue is limited to 10 servings a day, using only the most fatty and juicy parts. It's incredibly juicy and tender. The sashimi platter with 5 types of fish is very luxurious and incredibly delicious. You should definitely try the sashimi. The motsunabe hot pot is filled with plump motsu and plenty of vegetables. The private rooms are very relaxing and comfortable. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.

Today, I went out for drinks with my colleagues in the direction of Kyoto Station. We went to a restaurant called "Gyutan Keisuke" where you can enjoy charcoal-grilled beef tongue, a specialty from Sendai. We were led to a private room that could comfortably seat six people. We had a course meal with about 11 dishes and 3 hours of all-you-can-drink. We started with a toast, and then the dishes started coming one after another. - Assorted appetizers - Gyutan (beef tongue) salad - Assorted sashimi - Thick-cut grilled beef tongue - Grilled beef belly - Noodle dish There were also other dishes, and we ended the meal with dessert. We enjoyed the 3-hour all-you-can-drink to the fullest. Thank you for the meal.

Located in the Iida-ya Souhei Building, right next to Kyoto Tower, a symbol of Kyoto residents, is Gyutan Keisuke Kyoto Station Front. During a drinking party, one of my drinking buddies mentioned, "There's a really cool drinking alley in Kyoto." The more I heard about it, the more interested I became. So, we decided to go to Kyoto together on a different day. One of the members wanted to visit a particular restaurant before that, so we ended up at a building near Kyoto Tower on the north side of the station. We took the elevator to the open banquet hall on the 4th floor. From there, we took the stairs to the 5th floor where private rooms are located. We were guided to a private room with sliding doors. It seems like this place is affiliated with a group that operates various types of restaurants nationwide, such as "Hakata motsunabe Sakaba Kimuraya Honten." We started with a medium-sized draft beer for 500 yen (excluding tax) and some assorted sashimi as an appetizer for 430 yen per person. We also tried the unique gyutan tsukune (grilled beef tongue meatballs) with both sauce and salt for 480 yen each. We also enjoyed the Kyoto Beer "Kura no Kahori" for 750 yen (excluding tax), which is made using the famous water "Fukusui" from Kyoto. Additionally, we tried the seared sasakama (bamboo fish cake) for 480 yen, the Inca no Mezame (Inca's Awakening) with garlic butter for 580 yen, and a comparison of three types of meat for 1,980 yen (excluding tax). The meat included Uchimomo (top round), sirloin, and rib roast, each offering a different taste and texture. We also tried the domestic marbled beef tongue steak for 1,780 yen per person. Overall, the food was delicious, and we had a great time enjoying the different flavors and textures of the dishes.

Having dinner with friends in Kyoto tonight. The restaurant is on the 5th floor of a building in front of Kyoto Station, so it's easy to access! The interior of the restaurant consists entirely of private rooms. Tonight, we're in Sendai in front of Kyoto Station! Enjoying creative beef tongue dishes, along with izakaya menu items. The appetizer (450 yen per person) surprised us with sashimi! Tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. Cheers! The draft beer is Asahi Super Dry (500 yen). A delicious first drink after holding back on liquids all the way to Kyoto. Inca's Awakening with Garlic Butter (580 yen) - Inca's Awakening with a generous amount of garlic butter. The sweet potatoes are so sweet! It goes well with beer. Kyoto Beer - Brewery Scent (750 yen) - A beer made using sake yeast. It has a subtle Kyoto-like aroma, very delicious! Grilled Bamboo Shoots (480 yen) - Perfect for snacking, Sendai's specialty grilled bamboo shoots. Today's 3 kinds of meat tasting (1980 yen) - Rib roast, sirloin, and chuck flap. Enjoying the flavor of each type of meat. Junmai Daiginjo Nishijin (940 yen) - A sake from Sasaki Sake Brewery, using Fushimi's famous water. Limited quantity! Domestic marbled beef tongue steak (1780 yen) - Beautiful pink color. Moist and tender! Eikun (780 yen) - A sake made using Fushimi's famous water. Refreshing. Grilled Tail (780 yen) - Wow, it's huge! After dismantling it, the fat melts tenderly. Delicious! Barley Rice and Tail Soup (580 yen) - In Sendai, it's barley rice with grated yam and beef tail soup. A gentle set for the finish. Keisuke offers various beef tongue dishes along with Kyoto craft beer and local sake. When I was a first-year working adult, I couldn't forget the taste of the beef tongue I had at a restaurant my boss took me to, and sometimes I crave it uncontrollably. On this day, I went to a restaurant called "Gyutan Keisuke" near Kyoto Station, where you can enjoy beef tongue in an izakaya setting. The restaurant has a row of private rooms that are spacious and comfortable. After being seated, I checked the menu. While beef tongue dishes are the main attraction, there are various other dishes to enjoy as well. Of course, we must order beef tongue, but let's also try some other dishes. First, cheers with a beer! In this restaurant, you can enjoy not only draft beer but also craft beer from Kyoto. As we enjoyed our beer, a starter was served...wait, is this the starter? The starter for the day was a sashimi platter with yellowtail, tuna, and salmon. We were surprised by how delicious it was, and our excitement rose instantly! The first dish was beef tongue meatballs. You can choose between sauce and salt for the meatballs, so we tried both. At first, it feels like chicken meatballs, but as you eat, you encounter the texture of beef tongue. If you prefer light flavors, go for salt. If you want full umami, try the sauce! We were planning to indulge in beef tongue, but when we looked at the menu, we ended up ordering various dishes. "Inca's Awakening" with garlic butter potatoes was surprisingly sweet. Not like sweet potatoes, but sweet like potatoes. Wrapped in the aroma of garlic, it was delicious. Then, we tried "Sasakama Seared." In Sendai, sasakama kamaboko was created from a surplus of flounder long ago, and it's lightly seared for even more deliciousness. And the recommended dish of the month was the "Today's Meat Trio." The meats were ribeye, sirloin, and inside round. A meat lover's dream, each cut was cooked to perfection! And of course, we couldn't miss out on the grilled beef tongue... So, we ordered the domestic marbled beef tongue. Even though it's all beef tongue, the tenderness and flavor vary depending on the part. Among them, the marbled part is the best. The grilled marbled beef tongue is truly delicious. Although not beef tongue, we were curious and ordered the seared oxtail. When it arrived, the amount of fat made us hesitate, honestly. But when we tried it, it was amazingly delicious! It was more gelatinous than fatty, with a jiggly texture that was incredibly tasty! We all hurried to eat it and finished it in no time. This large piece was gone in an instant. This is highly recommended! As a finale for the beef tongue, we had barley rice and oxtail soup. While eating meat and rice, we tried something different. We put plenty of grated yam on the barley rice, poured the oxtail soup over it, and made barley rice oxtail soup porridge! Doesn't it look delicious? You should definitely try this! It's delicious!

The place we visited is a specialty beef tongue restaurant called "Gyutan Keisuke", which has branches mainly in Tokyo. It is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Kyoto Station, right near the 1st exit from the underground. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of a building, accessible by an elevator to the 4th floor and then stairs to the upper floors, which is a bit unique. The interior is decorated in a traditional Japanese style with private rooms separated by doors. There are rooms of various sizes available, suitable for different group sizes. The room we were led to was quite spacious and comfortable. The menu is provided in a booklet. It offers a variety of dishes including beef tongue, appetizers, salads, grilled dishes, fried dishes, hot pot, final dishes, and desserts. Let's try various items a la carte! (Details can be found at the bottom of the article) We started with Kyoto craft beers at ¥750 each. I chose the Alt beer. It was full-bodied and delicious. The appetizer of sashimi at ¥430 was unusual. It included tuna, amberjack, and scallops. They were tasty and not bad at all. The Gyutan Chorogi Salad at ¥780 was a vegetable dish with beef tongue on top. It was crispy and juicy, with a strong presence of thinly sliced beef tongue. The lettuce with crispy white leeks, garlic, and sesame oil was refreshing and went well with the alcohol. We couldn't stop eating it! The Iburi Gakko Cheese at ¥480 was a combination of cream cheese and smoked pickles. It was delicious, with the smoky flavor of the pickles and the creamy richness of the cheese complementing each other perfectly. The Kinka Saba Aburi at ¥880 was thickly sliced and rich in flavor. The fatty part melted in the mouth! Delicious! Next, we tried the specialty dish, the Sendai Beef Tongue Yaki at ¥1780 (1.5 servings). It was delicious! It was pre-seasoned with salt, so we tried it as it is first. The outside was crispy, with a moderate chewiness and a softness that melted in the mouth. The more you chew, the more flavor comes out! It was so tasty! They use the traditional Sendai method and age it for three weeks, which results in a concentrated flavor and a consistent texture throughout. This unique texture and flavor cannot be found in regular yakiniku. It was truly a special dish! After grilling the beef tongue, we tried it with the spicy Nanban miso. It made us crave rice! Continuing with beef tongue, we tried the Gyutan Katsu at ¥780, which was deep-fried. It was like ham cutlet but not ham, it was definitely beef tongue. The crispy coating and the crispy texture of the tongue combined well, making it very satisfying. Beef tongue is delicious whether grilled or fried! We took a little break with the La-Yu Tataki Cucumber at ¥380, which was refreshing. The Pickled Vegetables Platter at ¥480 included four types of pickles: Chinese cabbage, turnips, eggplants, and Shibazuke. They were good. Next, we tried the domestic beef charcoal-grilled dishes. We paired them with red wine at ¥1480 each. The domestic beef Ichibo at ¥1480 was amazing! It was grilled perfectly, with a crispy exterior and a rare center. It was juicy and had a nice amount of fat! Delicious! The domestic beef Marsin at ¥1480 was also grilled to perfection. It was light and concentrated in flavor. Both dishes exceeded the level of a regular izakaya and were outstanding. The Beef and Rice Soup at ¥580 was the final dish. In retrospect, we should have ordered it together with the grilled beef tongue. The beef tongue with rice and grated yam and the soup were perfect for finishing the meal. The Tail Soup Zosui at ¥680 was similar to the previous dish, but the rice absorbed the flavors well and had a smooth texture. It was a perfect ending. Lastly, we had Uji Matcha Ice Cream and Kinako Warabi Mochi at ¥480, a Kyoto-style dessert to finish the meal in a gentle way. Thank you for the meal! From the delicious beef tongue to the tasty meats, everything was satisfying! Even though it was a weekday, the restaurant was busy.

I visited this izakaya because I heard it was a "izakaya where you can drink alcohol at cost. The food is not bad and the room is private. The taste is not bad and the private room is close to the station. The restaurant is close to the station, and the food is not bad. The location of the restaurant is a little difficult to find.

This is a restaurant I visited for a company drinking party. The private rooms make it easy to have both work-related and personal conversations. Although the name of the restaurant includes "beef tongue," they offer a wide variety of other dishes as well. However, the only downside is that the food service was a bit slow.
