I saw the reviews of Mailevi-san and now I really want to go. Of course, I'm aiming for the limited quantity morning special plate @ 1320 yen. I was surprised to find such a shop in the back of the floor of Lumine 1 where Seijo Ishii is located! Right in front of the Keio Line ticket gate. On weekdays, they open at 9 am, but on weekends, it's 8 am. I heard that the special morning plate is sold out by the 9 o'clock hour, so I visited a little after 8 o'clock. I was told that I could sit anywhere that had menus, so I thought about sitting in the famous semi-circle sofa seat, but it felt a bit embarrassing for an older lady like me. I chose a table seat. I ordered the special morning plate, and when I looked up, I saw two young men sitting in the semi-circle sofa seat opposite me. At first, I ignored it, thinking that it's unisex now, so it's okay for men to say "cute!" too. But gradually, I started to think, "Oh, this is like Shinjuku," (bitter smile) They seemed dissatisfied that they couldn't flirt with each other because they were facing each other. Those who didn't order the special plate had a combination of croissant and cafe au lait bowl. The cafe au lait bowl was as big as a bowl. I'm envious of it, maybe I should have ordered that. However, I stuck to my original plan. I usually drink coffee in the morning, but I came here thinking that the tea pot with a RITUEL-colored hat on top, which I saw in Mailevi-san's photo, was cute, so I had to have tea! The plate and drinks arrived. Orange juice was also included. (unexpected) The light blue lid on top of the tea pot was paper. Oh well. But just having that makes the table much more lively. The special plate has a lot of information. (laughs) First, scrambled eggs. It seems like they made an omelette first, then broke it up with a fork. The large chunks are easy to scoop up with a fork, and I like that it's served with tomatoes. The bacon is also high quality. It's not overly crispy, which I appreciate. It's lightly grilled and nicely salty! The croissant is impeccable. It's been a while since I had RITUEL's croissant. This, this! Under the croissant, thick toast was served. I spread the provided butter and marmalade generously. Overall, I think it's a perfect morning set. More fulfilling than a hotel breakfast! I think the cost performance is good. Oh yes, it was stylish to use a canelé mold as a receipt holder.

Visited right after the opening of Lumine at 11:00 am on a holiday. There was a wait of 4 groups as they also serve breakfast. While waiting, I shopped around and after about 30 minutes, I was seated and ordered the Holiday Lunch. I chose the Niçoise salad to keep it light, although it didn't mention on the menu, it came with a croissant and turned out to be quite filling. It was so delicious that I ended up finishing it all. For the half-size cake, I chose the strawberry and pistachio shortcake, and the fraisier escargot. Despite being called half-size, they were quite satisfying in portion and tasted so good that I managed to finish them with ease.

I went to brunch with two other people. I ordered salmon pasta with tomato cream sauce. The lasagna and pasta were decent. The café latte bowl was large but delicious and easy to drink. We also ordered banana cake and pistachio-strawberry cake, both of which were delicious. The café had a cute and lovely atmosphere, with interior design that women would like.

I came to have breakfast at 8:00 am sharp on Saturday. There was already one group ahead of me, and about 4 more groups arrived one after another. This time, I ordered the limited breakfast set! It comes with a croissant, toast, scrambled eggs with bacon, and salad. Additionally, you can choose a rich orange juice and your favorite drink. Margarine and apricot jam were also included as condiments for the bread. The croissant had a good buttery flavor and was delicious, and the scrambled eggs had a nice sweetness to them. The toast was not toasted enough, so I think it could have been better with a bit more browning. The salad was really small haha, but it tasted good. I gave it 3 stars because the staff seemed indifferent and just said what was required, but the restaurant's atmosphere and menu look nice, so I think it must be popular.

I went around 7:00 PM on Friday. The restaurant was about 80% full. I went for the cakes but ended up getting a meal as well. I chose a meal, a drink, and two half cakes. I selected a salad, a summer strawberry tiramisu cake, and a Mont Blanc tart. Even at 7:00 PM, there were no cakes sold out. I waited a few minutes. To my surprise, a huge croissant appeared before the salad! A croissant included? The salad was quite filling. I only took a bite of the croissant and left the rest. The cakes were delicious with a moderate level of sweetness. Next time, I will just enjoy the cakes!

I was finally able to visit this shop that I had been curious about. The cute interior was bustling with girls enjoying afternoon tea. I ordered the lunch set for ¥1760. I chose the salmon tomato cream pasta, while my friend chose the chicken lemon oil pasta. For dessert, we had a cake and a peach tart. The pasta had plenty of salmon and the tomato cream sauce was delicious. The cake had fresh peaches and made me want a full-sized one (lol).

RITUEL CAFE is currently offering an afternoon tea featuring summer and autumn strawberries. The strawberries used are from Azumino in Nagano Prefecture, selected from varieties such as "Nutsberry," "Suzuakane," and "Summer Lyrical" based on what is most delicious at the time. One of the highlights of this afternoon tea is that you can choose a cake from the showcase for each person. The cakes are large and satisfying, and my dad loves the cakes here, so we usually buy one when we visit my parents' house every week. The Royal Milk Tea, available in hot or iced, is also free-flowing, which is a big plus. The menu includes a macaron, canelé, strawberry panna cotta, summer strawberry, summer strawberry caprese croissant sandwich, cream cheese and summer strawberry pinchos, smoked salmon and summer strawberry canapé, roast beef and summer strawberry canapé, summer strawberry fruit salad, and a slice of cake on a separate plate. The price is ¥5,280 (tax included) or ¥5,830 (tax included) with a cocktail, available until July 31, 2023. Operating hours are 11:30-14:00, 16:30-19:00. Located at RITUEL CAFÉ Lumine Shinjuku, 1-1-5 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Lumine Shinjuku Lumine 1 B2. #rituelcafé #rituelcafe #rituel #afternoontea #strawberrysweets #strawberry #strawberrysweets #Shinjukucafe #Tokyocafe #Shinjukugourmet #Tokyogourmet #afternoontea #애프터눈티 #instafood

The place is a cafe located past the bakery, Thai and Korean restaurants, which is quite hard to find next to the stairs and escalator leading from the Toei Subway to JR. It doesn't seem too crowded for being right near Shinjuku Station. I was able to get the limited quantity morning special I wanted. The hot tea comes in a decent-sized pot. The croissant is big and delicious. They also serve half a toast, but with so many side dishes, you might run out of bread (laughs). The prices are not cheap, but you get what you pay for and leave satisfied with the lunch experience. Thank you for the meal.

I went to an afternoon tea at a shop that I love because they have delicious croissants. It's a cute shop located in the back of Lumine 1 B2. I splurged a little and tried the limited-time strawberry afternoon tea. Thanks to the strawberries, it wasn't too heavy, and it was the easiest afternoon tea I've ever eaten. I also loved that you can choose one cake from the showcase per person! The drinks are also all-you-can-drink, so it's more cost-effective and I prefer it to hotel afternoon teas.

I arrived around 8 pm and was seated right away. They had sold out of about two types of cakes. The atmosphere of the shop is lovely! The lemon cake had a good amount of volume and was incredibly delicious. As someone who loves lemons, this cake was just perfect for me.

Today I had the morning off, so I decided to have breakfast! After some consideration, I ended up at this place right in front of the ticket gate at the end of the Keio Line. I arrived at 9:40 am, so I was wondering if they had a special limited breakfast set, but they did. However, I wasn't confident I could finish it and was concerned about the calories and carbs, so I opted for the croque-monsieur set instead. First, I was served with iced tea, which I think was Darjeeling. It was just okay. After about 5 minutes, the main plate arrived. The salad had crispy bacon mixed in. The croque-monsieur was made with thick slices of bread, béchamel sauce, bacon, and cheese. The bread was fluffy, and I ate it elegantly with a knife and fork. The orange at the end was easy to eat with a cut between the peel and the fruit. The restaurant was charming, the food was delicious, and I was able to leisurely enjoy my morning.

Every time I passed by the shop and saw the cakes in the glass case, I thought they were cute, so I decided to go in. Hmm, the cakes and tea were just okay for the price. The cake seemed dry, maybe it was frozen, and not very tasty. The tea wasn't good either. I probably won't go back.

I used it for afternoon tea. The top tier had sweets, the bottom tier had savory items, and it came with a choice of cake. I chose a lemon cake. I was very satisfied because I could enjoy afternoon tea and eat cake!

I purchased a cake that I admired. The cross-section was beautiful, the slices were large but not overwhelming, and the fruits were fresh and disappeared in an instant. It was expensive, but worth buying. However, one cake was enough for two people... Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the afternoon tea set. It came with a variety of sweets and savory snacks, as well as a choice of a large slice of cake and unlimited drinks. I was happy that I could choose the cake and drink. I skipped lunch before going, so I thought it might not be enough, but in reality, just the cake alone seemed to be enough to fill me up, and I was very satisfied with both the taste and portion size! I had a great time there.

I used the afternoon tea service! The interior and tea stand were both cute and Instagrammable! The staff were very friendly and provided excellent customer service! I couldn't finish all the cakes so I asked for a takeout, and they were able to accommodate that! It's recommended since it's directly connected to the station!

"I wanted to try the morning speciality plate (1320 yen tax included) but unfortunately it was sold out when I arrived at 10:00, an hour after the 9:00 opening time. It's limited in quantity so it couldn't be helped... I ended up ordering the Croissant and Toast (660 yen tax included) with a pot of tea, while my friend ordered the Parisian morning classic Croque Monsieur & Green Salad (880 yen tax included) with coffee. The food and drinks arrived a bit slowly, but the Croissant was crispy and delicious, the tea was delightful, and the Croque Monsieur was rich and satisfying. The coffee had a strong acidity to it. The restaurant was mostly full, with only a few seats available. There was a cute incident with a baby spilling coffee, but the staff handled it well. Overall, I enjoyed the breakfast and would like to try the speciality plate next time by arriving earlier."

I had been checking out this shop since I saw it while passing by, and finally got the chance to come today (*^^*) The cute interior of the shop in white and blue mainly attracts female customers. The lunch set menu includes a main dish, today's cake (half size), and a drink, each with a side salad. Not only the atmosphere, but the pasta and cake were also very delicious ✨✨ Furthermore, the cost performance seems quite good in this location! I feel like I could come back here alone as well (〃'艸'〃) Thank you for the meal~✨✨✨

[Limited Time Offer] Strawberry Afternoon Tea ¥5500. ★ Visit Date/Time: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays at 13:30. ★ Reservation: Through ozmall. ★ Crowdedness: Fully booked. About 4 groups for Afternoon Tea. On the day, there were 7 groups waiting at 13:30. No waiting list at the time of departure (15:30). <Afternoon Tea> ★ Time Limit: 2 hours. ★ Drinks: Approximately 7 types of coffee and 7 types of black tea. Unique options such as soy lattes, coffee floats, and café mochas are available. ★ Serving Speed: Moderate. ★ Sweetness: Desserts are sweet. Croissants are moderate. ★ Quantity: Adequate to generous (perhaps due to the limited time offer). The strawberry Afternoon Tea is exclusive to ozmall. It costs an additional ¥1500 + tax compared to the regular Afternoon Tea, with an abundance of strawberries and slightly more desserts. Whether it's worth the price is debatable. Each person can choose one cake freely. The premium shortcake chosen had a subtle sweetness, with about 5-6 strawberries in total. It seems the focus is on the cream. The soft sponge was lovely. The café mocha and soy latte came in small bowl-like cups. For black tea, Mariage Frères is available, and in case of stock shortage, amsu tea is served exclusively for Afternoon Tea. The satisfaction level of the drinks was very high. The default food was delicious, the cake selection was great, and the drinks were varied, so I plan to opt for the standard Afternoon Tea on my next visit.

Located in Lumine 1 in Shinjuku, this cafe has caught my attention after purchasing bread from other stores several times. Popular for its afternoon tea and sweets, it's always crowded on weekends but quiet on weekday mornings. I visited at 9:15 am on a weekday, with one customer ahead of me and four customers behind me, all women. The interior, unified in royal blue and white to evoke the May sky in Paris, has a nice atmosphere. There are four types of morning sets available, and I opted for the simplest one as I was dining alone. The Morning Set (last order at 10:30 am) includes a croissant, toast, marmalade, butter, and a choice of coffee, tea, or juice, priced at 660 yen. It had been about three years since my last visit, but the croissant and toast were delicious. The coffee had a nice bitterness that paired well with the bread. Overall, it was a tasty and cost-effective morning set. While the cafes at the three other locations I used to frequent have closed (Aoyama, Nihonbashi Takashimaya, and Isetan Shinjuku), I'm glad this new cafe has opened.
