I visited Pom no Ki for lunch with my parents after a long time. Today, I ordered the Kinoko Tororo Mentaiko Omurice (SS) with cranberry soda. Even though I didn't have much of an appetite due to the heat, the combination of tororo and ponzu made it refreshing and easy to eat. My parents had the Daikon Oroshi Omurice, which was also refreshing with the grated daikon. The small miso soup in a paper cup is now self-service, it seems. I enjoyed my meal today as well. Head to Pom no Ki on the 4th floor of Rakutoyama-ka. They offer around 30 different types of omurice, which can be overwhelming to choose from! I tried their Hayashi sauce omurice (1130 yen) in a medium size (+200 yen). They also served complimentary miso soup in a paper cup. You can choose between ketchup rice or butter rice, and I went with the butter rice. The medium size omurice had a generous portion and the egg was nicely half-cooked. The sauce quality was average. Overall, it's a bit on the pricey side but a good chain restaurant option for when you're craving omurice.

My mother said she wanted to eat omurice, so we stopped by this restaurant while we were out. This time, I had the seafood tomato cream omurice. It had two plump prawns and two mussels, as well as plenty of squid. The butter rice inside was delicious. My mother had the one-bite hamburger Japanese-style omurice. She was satisfied and said it was delicious. It's convenient that it's located near the station, so it's easy to visit. The limited-time menu starting in October looks delicious, so I want to come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I knew there were several restaurants on the 4th floor of the building that includes MUJI and Nitori, but it was my first time visiting the dining area. Pom no Ki caught my attention with a large sign of a lemon parfait near the escalator. It was lunchtime and the place was empty. I decided to try the lemon parfait and it was delicious! The refreshing lemon acidity paired perfectly with the sweet jelly-like substance. The crunchy granola-like texture also added to the deliciousness.

I was torn between the thick-cut pork cutlet omelette rice and the seasonal menu Beef Stroganoff omelette rice, but I ended up ordering the Beef Stroganoff omelette rice in a size M with a drink set including raspberry soda. I always think, though, about the miso soup. It comes in a very small paper cup, and I wonder if it's really necessary... The omelette rice had a good amount of beef and mushrooms, and it was delicious. It's nice that the rice here is butter rice, as I'm not a big fan of ketchup rice. The menu is extensive, and I always have a hard time deciding what to order. I remember that the thick-cut pork cutlet omelette rice I had before in the same size M felt quite substantial, but the Beef Stroganoff felt a bit lacking in ingredients. It would be nice to have some small side dishes or toppings that you can add. Thank you for the meal.

At around lunchtime in Yamashina, I wandered around and ended up at Pom no Ki because the omurice looked delicious. After some hesitation, I decided to try the beef stew omurice (approximately 1500 yen) that had been simmered slowly. It was tender and flavorful.

I stopped by Nitto to finish shopping for starting a new life, and decided to take a break and have lunch. It was my first time entering this large chain store. It was Sunday afternoon, and luckily there was one empty table for two. To put it simply, it was very ordinary. By "ordinary," I mean it's the type that can be accepted by a wide range of people. The omurice was traditional and without any unique flavors. The miso soup was served in a very small paper cup, which was a bit disappointing. I would have preferred a complimentary candy instead.

On the way back from visiting my grandmother's grave in Kyoto, we had a meal at Pom no Ki in Yamashina Racto. This time, I ordered the "Mentaiko Mayonnaise Omurice". It was topped with mentaiko and mayonnaise, which gave it a delicious flavor. Surprisingly, the combination of ketchup rice and mentaiko worked well together.

The teriyaki chicken with cream sauce omelette rice was good enough even for McDonald's.

It arrived after about a 10-minute wait. The taste was good, nothing extraordinary. The rice inside was butter rice. There weren't many options for ketchup rice on the lunch menu. It was delicious though.

The "Pom no Ki" Rakuto Yamashina branch, which has multiple locations, is a safe restaurant option around JR Yamashina Station where food choices are limited. The taste is satisfactory, but the quality of customer service from the staff is not very high. The prices are not cheap, so you might feel frustrated at times. It would be better if they could reduce the prices by about 10%. The restaurant tends to be noisy, so it may not be suitable for those looking for a quiet dining experience.

The other day, I went to Pom no Ki, located in the Rakuto Building in Yamaoka, with my female friend! I love omurice, and I used to go to the Pom no Ki in Kyoto Station Avanti, but it closed down, so I have been using the one in Yamaoka. I am satisfied with the taste and portion size! I usually order the thick-cut bacon with warm egg salad with my omurice. The Caesar dressing is a classic choice, but this time I tried the dressing with four kinds of mushrooms for the first time. Surprisingly, it was delicious! However, the restaurant is often crowded with students and has a casual cafe-like atmosphere, so it may not be the best choice for those looking for a quiet meal. The service from the staff is not particularly great, but I am used to it by now so it doesn't bother me.

I had a small size omurice with seafood sauce at this restaurant. The sauce contains shrimp, squid, and scallops, making it a dish that seafood lovers can enjoy. Even the small size was quite filling. The eggs were fluffy and well-made. The taste was decent, as expected from a chain restaurant, but the variety of sauces to choose from was enjoyable. The omurice restaurant offers decent taste and portion sizes. They have a wide variety of options, which may be why it is popular among locals. It is a chain restaurant.

Whenever I look at the menu, I always feel like eating omurice with cream sauce. I also often order the one with two types of sauce. When I visit consecutively, I also tried the doria. I have had doria many times and it's quite good. There are regular doria and a menu where omurice becomes doria. During the daytime, the location is lively with families and students. It's not a place for a leisurely meal, but when I crave omurice, I end up going there.
