Sometimes I just crave nachos out of the blue. You know, those tortilla chips with all the toppings. I get so excited that I forget to take a picture. I ordered two types of nachos, both were delicious. One was loaded with cilantro, my favorite beans, and lots of toppings, so satisfying. They didn't skimp on the toppings, which was nice. I also ordered the ceviche (pictured), which I love. It's perfect for a hot day. I ended up eating too many chips, so I only had one taco. But I'm happy because I got my nachos fix.

I enjoyed classic nachos (small size 750 yen) and a Corona beer (700 yen) at a Mexican food stall. The Corona beer bottle came with a lime wedge on the rim. The nachos were topped with crispy vegetables, plenty of ground meat, and cheese. The colorful appearance made it even more appetizing. Eating the chips with the toppings gave a crunchy, juicy, and crispy texture. The combination of meat, cheese, and spicy salsa sauce was delicious. I also ordered the salt and lime yakisoba (700 yen) from the menu posted in the restaurant. It was like thick yakisoba noodles, and when I added the owner's recommended green spicy sauce, it had a slightly spicy and refreshing lime flavor. I visited the restaurant around 6 pm on a weekday, and it was quite crowded. I sat at a table at the back of the counter. The owner was cooking alone, so it took a bit of time for the food to be served when it got busy. It's a relaxed atmosphere where even solo diners like me can enjoy. It's nice to leisurely spend time sipping on a lime Corona beer while waiting for the food. It's like being on Latin time!

We were seated on the 2nd floor as the 1st floor was full. The menu had S size and R size options. When I ordered the R size, I was told it might be too much and was recommended to switch to the S size. It turned out to be just the right amount for two people. The cheese-filled quesadilla was best eaten while hot. The guacamole was delicious, and the nachos were really tasty. The chips were slightly thick and had a satisfying crunch, able to hold up well under all the toppings. The prices were surprisingly affordable. I will definitely be going back. As I passed by, I saw that there was only one person sitting at the counter and some seats were available, so I decided to go in. The staff welcomed me and showed me to a seat. The restaurant had about 5 counter seats and a few tables, it was quite cozy. I ordered a Mexican beer, which came with a lime on the bottle, and it was really refreshing. I also ordered two types of tacos and a meat dish. The tacos were served quickly and had a generous amount of meat, yet they were reasonably priced at around 300-400 yen each. The flavors were delicious and the staff even asked if I wanted cilantro in my dish. The overall experience was great, the food had the right amount of spice, and paired well with the beer. The restaurant had a lot of Mexican-themed decorations which added to the atmosphere. I will definitely come back if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal, I will visit again.

This is a very compact shop, but I don't mind that. I actually like it. Sometimes I crave Mexican food, and each dish here is quite hearty and delicious. Tacos, nachos, quesadillas - all have flavors that I enjoy. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

Maximo, a popular restaurant in Koyamachi. I visited for lunch. There are 5 counter seats and 1 small table. I had the Mexican Plate for 1,200 yen (you can choose between chicken and pork) and my friend had the Nachos Plate for 1,000 yen. Both plates came with a choice of soup - either cold zucchini potage or light tonkotsu soup with lime. We ordered both and shared. Since it was our first time trying Mexican food, we asked the friendly owner for advice on how to eat it, and he said in Mexico, everyone eats it however they like. In short, everything was delicious! They use high-quality avocados for their guacamole, which was unbelievably tasty. The vegetables were all fresh, the chicken was moist, and the spiced beans and corn were addictive. The nachos were also delicious! We finished both soups as well. The tonkotsu soup was so good, it made me want to add noodles to it. Since it's a small place, it's best to call ahead for dinner. It's a hidden gem that I don't want to tell too many people about, but I hope this helps someone.

Visited a different restaurant based on recommendation from the master. Felt reassured by the quick service and the fact that smoking is allowed. It was my first time trying Mexican cuisine, and although I had heard of tacos before, it was a new experience for me. The chicken, harami, and shrimp avocado tacos all looked delicious, so I ordered the shrimp and chicken ones. I learned that the tacos are cooked after ordering. The palm-sized tacos were very easy to eat and delicious! The pleasant smell of corn was memorable. I couldn't stop eating, especially after adding some seasoning similar to Tabasco from the table. The prices were reasonable, starting from 500 yen each. The master, who is a fan of the Orix baseball team, and the customer next to me got into a lively baseball conversation, so I couldn't order much this time. But I'm looking forward to going back and eating more next time!

During my stroll in Kyoto, I stopped by a taco bar and the friendly master prepared Mexican food that was both delicious and well-crafted. I will definitely visit again when I go to Kyoto!

I visited the restaurant on the day of a Japan rugby World Cup match, so the seats were fully booked and I could only stay for less than an hour until the reserved customers arrived. However, I was able to fully enjoy the food. The owner runs the restaurant alone, but you can tell that the dishes are made with care. The handmade taco shells are made with corn, and they have a taste and texture that even Japanese people would find delicious, showing the owner's dedication. The presentation of the dishes shows attention to detail, and there is no wasted movement, giving the impression of considerable experience.
