[April, revisited on a certain day] On this day, I purchased cakes for a visit to an acquaintance's house ❤ It's been a while since I purchased cakes here. I bought "Strawberry Shortcake," "Sachertorte," and "Millefeuille" this time. Since it was a souvenir for elderly people, I passed on my favorite cheesecake and chose these instead. Personally, I really wanted to buy "Baked Cheesecake" and "Triple Cheese," but... I didn't get to eat them (T_T)(T_T)(T_T). I brought the souvenirs and visited, but... they weren't home (T_T)(T_T)(T_T). They were traveling abroad (-"-)... Bummer... In the end, the cakes went back with me and ended up in my stomach. I ate them all (laughs). As for the taste... the Strawberry Shortcake, Sachertorte, and Millefeuille were all okay. Conclusion! I should have bought the cheesecake after all (T_T).
[March, revisited] I have been visiting this shop occasionally for a while now. The store offers cakes, traditional Japanese sweets, snacks, and ice cream. The cakes range from 200 yen to 400 yen, with various options available. The cake menu changes according to the season. Currently, they have a selection of strawberry cakes. I want to eat cake, but... (・・;) I have to wait until payday (laughs). Ice cream starts from the 30 yen range, including cake ice cream. Recently, they have also started selling pizza and frozen dorayaki. The traditional Japanese sweets section offers seasonal items like chestnut ohagi. I love mochi and chestnuts, so I was tempted by them. Talking about this got me off track (・・;). The shop also offers different types of dango and manju depending on the season. This time, I got a frozen zenzai from a friend and took it home. I heated it in the microwave for 3 minutes and 10 seconds, and it was ready. It had big chestnuts, which made me happy. It came with three pieces of mochi. I took a sip of the soup... it was sweet and delightful. It's a recommended treat to enjoy at home with green tea (*^^)v. By the way, if you go near closing time, you can get discounted items close to their expiration date. I always go around 8 p.m. when I'm alone, and surprisingly, there are many customers at that time. It's a competition (laughs).
