You need to pay at the counter before taking a seat. I saw the carrot cake displayed by the register, so I felt relieved. I enjoyed a warm cafe latte with it. The carrot cake in the shape of a pound cake was just the right size, not too big or too small. It wasn't greasy but moist and fluffy. The spices hit you right from the first bite, followed by the sweetness of the cake. The cream cheese frosting was smooth, soft, and sweet. The shredded carrots added a crunchy texture and a subtle presence. The nuts hidden here and there provided a nice contrast in texture. As you reach the center of the pound cake, it becomes even more moist! The carrot cake paired perfectly with the cafe latte. I spent the day at the long table inside, but I think the terrace would be lovely in the upcoming season. I'm curious about their food menu with items like avocado toast and hot dogs.
