I entered the restaurant around 8 p.m. on a weekday without a reservation, but was able to get in smoothly. The restaurant is spacious and conveniently located near the station. They have introduced touch panel ordering, which is quite convenient. You can check your order and bill at any time, which is reassuring. The dishes were all delicious, especially the sashimi with a wide variety. They have a wide selection of drinks, which always makes it hard to choose. I also tried a slightly suspicious drink called "Green Juice Matcha Sour" (the name might be slightly different), but surprisingly, it was easy to drink.

I went to Kyoto Station today and decided to have lunch near the station. I saw a sign for a seafood izakaya near the central ticket gate and decided to go in. The restaurant is a chain that sources fresh fish from fishing ports and fishermen nationwide. It was a spacious place with a lot of seating, and you could see Kyoto Station and Kyoto Tower from the windows. The lunch menu starts from 850 yen, and they also offer seafood bowls as standalone items. When I asked the staff for a recommendation, they said the salmon bowl is popular. I ordered the salmon bowl, which came with miso soup with fish scraps. The bowl had salmon, seaweed, pickled ginger, and shiso leaves. I added wasabi soy sauce and enjoyed the combination of salmon and seaweed. It was great to have a satisfying lunch for around 650 yen near Kyoto Station in these times. There are various options on the menu, making it a good place to enjoy a reasonably priced lunch.

The staff are efficient and quick, but there are few people so it feels a bit chaotic.
