I went to Kyorakudo and tried their Hito-tsubu series. I wanted to eat Hito-tsubu muscat, but it wasn't the season for it at Isetan Kyoto. Instead, I tried Hito-tsubu Shion for the first time. It was sweet and juicy, with the outside coated in mochi and sugar. When I bit into it, the juice overflowed! It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

As usual, when passing by Kyorakudo, I found a new item that I wasn't familiar with - almond jelly with muscat, peach, and strawberry flavors. I decided to buy the muscat flavor, which is a bit more expensive than the others because it uses real muscat grapes. The almond jelly had a jelly-like muscat topping on it. The muscat was firmer than I expected, while the almond jelly below was soft and sweet. The muscat had a slightly sour taste, which may be due to the sugar coating on real muscat grapes. They also had a set of muscat grapes with varying sizes, which seemed like a good deal. I didn't buy it this time, but it's a great option for those who can't normally afford to buy individual muscat grapes. Overall, it was a delightful treat!

Shunka Shunka, purchased persimmon and chestnut sweets from Kyorakudo, both were delicious. ★Hokuhoku Chestnut (270 yen tax included) Looks like a small Mont Blanc. The chestnut sweetness and the crispy roasted chestnut confectionery (limited to autumn and winter) were delicious. ★Kakichu Yuzu (432 yen tax included) Limited to autumn and winter, inside the dried persimmon is a refreshing "yuzu bean paste" with yuzu and sudachi flavors. Each "Kakichu Yuzu" persimmon is handcrafted and has a slightly different shape. It's quite pricey, but the food was delicious.

A sweet treat wrapped in mochi with muscat grapes inside. It's almost like just eating the grapes, so you can really enjoy the juicy muscat flavor. They also have Pione grapes, but the color of these ones is more vibrant. It costs around 300 yen per piece.

The other day, I purchased a single muscat grape from Kyorakudo♡ I bought it as a gift, but they gave me 2 extra grapes so I was lucky enough to try them too. When I was able to sample them, I was given a tomato to taste, and I couldn't forget how delicious it was... I was planning to give it as a gift, but unfortunately, the season had ended by then Σ(゜д゜lll) Oh no! This season, it's all about muscat grapes. Sometimes, purple grapes are included as well♡ Each muscat grape is exactly that - one muscat grape. The real muscat grape is coated in sugar. Inside, it's juicy and full of muscat flavor! That's why the expiration date is about 1 week, so be careful. With these, you can easily pop them into your mouth like candy. A single muscat grape... the name makes it clear what the product is all about♡ It costs around 1,000 yen for 4 grapes, so it's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it! By the way, in Kansai, only two stores, Kyoto Isetan and Hankyu Umeda Main Store, have these on a regular basis, so online shopping is also recommended♡

When I visited Isetan with my mother, I discovered the following item:
- Kakinaka Yuka (Kakinaka Yuka)
Description and taste:
- Kakinaka Yuka: A traditional Japanese sweet with a sweet bean paste filled with a refreshing yuzu flavor inside a dried persimmon! The rich sweetness of the sweet bean paste and the refreshing yuzu flavor harmonize perfectly without overpowering each other. It's a delightful combination! It's quite large, so it's satisfying to eat.
Overall review:
This is a seasonal limited edition product! I was happy to discover a shop that I didn't know existed.

I bought this as an alternative to the popular Rikuno Takara Tama, which I couldn't get because it's so popular. The price is almost the same, around 400 yen per piece. However, the taste doesn't even come close. It lacks juiciness and is more like dried fruit. It even has seeds and is difficult to eat. I thought it would just be muscat grapes coated in sugar, but it's so different.

Due to the impact of COVID-19, I have been eating out less frequently, so I tend to opt for takeout or sweets. This time, I had the opportunity to try this dessert. I was surprised to find whole grapes in it. The outer coating was kept simple, and it was very delicious. Honestly, I wondered if it would be better to just eat grapes as they are, but this was also good. It also lasts for a few days. Thank you for the meal.
