I stopped by for the first time in a while when I had to take a bus from Shibuya. I ordered a Cold Brew in regular size for 550 yen. It was a cold brew coffee, which had a rich flavor. However, I felt that it was not cold enough. It seemed like they had chilled it with ice cubes rather than keeping it refrigerated. Storing coffee at room temperature slows down the deterioration compared to keeping it warm, but it is better to store it in the fridge (preferably chilled). Also, dilution from ice is not ideal. I also tried the Scone Sandwich for 450 yen. It was a scone filled with whipped cream and topped with mango and passion fruit sauce. The surface was crispy and crunchy, and the cream and sauce prevented it from being too dry.

I used to say that they are open on weekends, and this time I was able to visit and rest on a weekend evening. I ordered what you see in the photos. There is nothing particularly noteworthy, but the quality is consistent, so it's good.

I had never been inside before, so I decided to start with a takeout cream puff. Everyone else seemed to be ordering cream puffs and coffee too... maybe just a coincidence. The crispy and thin cookie dough, paired with plenty of cream, really enhances the deliciousness.

If there are empty seats, it's great. It's close to the station so you won't get wet. If you sit outside, even with a baby stroller, it won't be a bother. It gets crowded on weekends, so timing is key. But the coffee comes quickly, which is nice. The coffee was delicious too.

It's different from the typical cream puff, with a crispy crust. And most importantly, the cream inside is delicious!!! I've tried many cream puffs, but I confidently recommend this one! ☑︎ Madagascar Vanilla Shoe Ice 630 yen The crust is probably the same as the vanilla cream puff. The ice cream is authentic vanilla ice cream and delicious. But I thought it was a bit expensive... Also, eating the ice cream and crust together is too difficult... Sunday at 3pm, almost full. ☑️ Coffee ☑️ Carrot cake muffin-style carrot cake. Cream cheese is piped on top like cream, with walnuts on top, very cute. The dough is moist and crumbly, quite sweet. It has a strong cinnamon flavor, with plenty of carrots and raisins. It's as sweet as muffins from overseas, so coffee is a must.

This was my second visit to the store, as they were running a promotion for a free cream puff. I decided to get one to eat there and another one to take home. The cream puffs were small with a crunchy outer layer and a rich creamy filling inside. They were on the sweet side, which I personally like. Although they were small, they were just right for a little snack. The store had a lot of seats, but it was noisy being in a train station, so it wasn't very relaxing. They only provided one ice pack for the takeout, and they only accepted cashless payments, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, I enjoyed the cream puffs, but the process of ordering could be improved. Two cream puffs for the price of one, no drink included, cost me ¥350.

For lunch and snacks, I got a takeout of vanilla choux cream. The choux pastry was crispy even after some time, and the custard inside was rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. The taiyaki madeleine was not just visually appealing, but also delicious. Despite its small size, it was quite substantial and not soggy even after some time. The macaroni gratin was unexpectedly good, with a creamy and slightly salty sauce. It was quite filling and satisfying to eat. The coconut milk bread had a lovely coconut aroma and a great texture from the coconut flakes on top. The bread itself was delicious too. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be coming back for coffee next time! ❤️

Vanilla custard cream. It's the most basic one. I was looking forward to it, but... hmm, when I received it, the cream had already melted. It couldn't withstand room temperature, and the cream was oozing out from the back of the cream puff.

Taiyaki Financier and Scones There is a cafe located in the underground area near the East exit. It's more like a cafe, but it has quite an open space. They mainly offer sweets and drinks, but they also have bread. The prices are a bit on the higher end. The Taiyaki Financier is interesting as the Financier is shaped like a taiyaki. The taste is as expected. The scones are quite hard and crispy. The flavor is quite plain, so it's better to eat them with jam or milk tea to bring out the best in them.

I stopped by around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday and found some empty seats, so I decided to make a detour. The place was almost full, it's always crowded here, isn't it? I ordered two types of choux cream that I was curious about. The cream injected from the bottom was overflowing, and although not as firm as a cookie choux, it had a new sweets-like texture. The custard was on the sweeter side, and the hojicha flavor was subtly sweet and delicious.

I used this cafe both on weekdays and weekends around 2pm to 5pm. It's surprisingly close to the station and a hidden gem where you can often find a seat. The sweets and coffee are delicious. The counter facing the station passage has power outlets, so it's great for working on your laptop. It's a busy area but not too noisy, so you can relax and enjoy your time. I often visit alone, but it's a cafe that is convenient for couples, business meetings, friends, and people of all ages and genders.

A stylish cafe that appears right after exiting the Shibuya Station metro ticket gate. The cafe has a lot of seating, so there doesn't seem to be much of a problem finding a seat. In terms of size and price, the cost performance is not the best, but the location and atmosphere are quite nice, making it easy to use. The gratin quiche is delicious and recommended. Then I stumbled upon UPLIGHT COFFEE. It's located in a great spot, in a corner of the underground passageway connecting Shibuya's train lines. They have counter seats and table seats, and there are outlets available for charging. It's rare to find a cafe where you can charge your devices these days, so I was happy about that. And to top it off, they have Carrot Cake on the menu, which I just had to try. They also offer items like milk bread, gratin chicken quiche, cream puffs, and brownies, so you can enjoy their offerings at any time of day. The baked goods are displayed in a showcase next to the register, tempting you to order one to go with your coffee. On this day, I chose the Carrot Cake without hesitation, and paired it with a Cappuccino. The Carrot Cake was reasonably priced at 400 yen, and the cupcake-sized portion had a nice density to it. The carrot flavor was subtle, with a strong hint of cinnamon adding a nice spice. The texture of the raisins provided a fun contrast. The frosting on top was creamy and sweet, with nuts sprinkled on top. The Cappuccino had a gentle sweetness that paired well with the Carrot Cake. Visited with one other person on a rainy Saturday at 11:40. We ordered and paid first, then were given a buzzer for the food court style seating. We ordered canelé, taiyaki madeleine, and café au lait. The buzzer went off after about 3 minutes. The canelé was delicious. It was nice that the restaurant wasn't crowded.
